China is proud to announce that our windpower has reached an annual output of 24 GW. The Chinese wind projects will receive 10 Billion additional funding to increase output with new turbines and farms. China is currently experiencing an average growth of wind energy production by 95% (http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-02/08/content_7582308.htm) and we intend to continue that trend. Laxiwa Dam has been completed, adding 4200 MW of power. China is now producing over 200,000 MW from Hydropower facilties. ------------------------- The following nuke plants have been officially activated, and have begun feeding into the grid: Ningde - 2,000 MW Yangjiang - 2,000 MW Ling'ao 4,000 MW Qinshan 4,340 MW Fangjiashan 2,000 MW Fuqing 2,000 MW Sanmen 2,000 MW Unemployment is becoming a problem in China. Hu Jintao has ordered some plan to alleviate this. 40 Nuclear power plants are to start construction immediately. Each plant will be 4,000 MW at initial operational capacity, and will be increased to 6,000 MW one year after that. The construction sites will eat up a total of 640,000 workers.(two shifts of 8k per plant) |

The HMS Exeter and HMS Nottingham both have entered service in the RoKN and have been renamed: ROKS Sangdanghan (DDG 996) [상당한] and ROKS A'reumdaun (DDG 997) [아름다운]. They will take patrols within the Korean Strait. The HMS Sceptre has also entered service and has been renamed: ROKS Wonhon (SSN 001) [원혼]. It will be part of the fleet in the Sea of Japan. Changang is publicly announced as a no fly zone to all non-Koreans unless strictly authorized by high ranking Korean officials. *Classfied: China is permitted to use the airspace if necessary.* |

The Long Term Plan![]() ----Each Area will be done in phases using the process depicted below---- Reclamation of Land in the Libyan Area has begun. Using Water from the Great Manmade River Aquafir, work has begun on tilling great swaths of the desert. While that is happening, pipes will be run from the GMR, towards each "Sector" which will slowly feed water into area's, where BEANS and Clover will be planted, along with 1 Tree every yard. After the Beans grow, they will be tilled back into the sand, and another Crop of Plants, this time Tomatoes will be planted into the tilled land, which will continue to receive water. After the tomatoes are grown, they will be tilled back into the sand(including the fruit). From there, another crop, this time Wheat and Barley will be planted. After these have been grown, they will be harvested, with the remains tilled into the ground(See wut I r doin herr). While this is happening, work on creating a Stable, Artifical Rain Cycle will begin, along with A Series of 3 Lakes per sector, along with 11 Rivers. The Rivers will start as streams, and run around the nation. They WILL NOT be connected to the Sea. Instead they will run through the new "Nature Zones". After the rivers are established, they will have Fish, and other fauna introduced around them. Trees, and bushes will be planted along the rivers as they are constructed. For various Reasons. A. To Hold the soil together B. To Create a Viable "Ecosystem" in which work will begin in introducing Animal Life. C. To provide a cooling process for the Rivers D. To provide moar Oxygen into the Atmosphere. While this is going on, work on "Developing" a new plant through genetic engineering that serves as a Sponge for the following Elements in the Air chlorine, fluorine, elementary mercury, and sulfur. This is a new "Green" way to combat pollution, as Nuclear Power becomes the way of the future. |
