OOC: No please, embargo me. Go ahead. This is going to have all foreign investors think twice before setting up in you if your going to ban banks just because they aren't home grown. You realize virtually all your banks are branches of foreign banks right? |

Micronesia points out the Phillippines has placed an embargo on us and is essentially taking our property simply for expanding a small business into their country. Legislation is being passed to limit foreign companies. We suggest you reevaluate your holdings here before they pull the same move on you. |

Malaysia: We are saddened by this sort of behavior. While we will not end our agreements we will end any future plans we had with the Philippines. New Zealand: We will end all of our ties, we wish to not deal with a country with intolerance for one single foreign company. We urge you to end this silliness. Republic of China: We end our investments with the Philippines for this unnecessary action taken against the Micronesians. Spain: Although we have always supported you, we cannot support this... European Union: We will end economic aid to you if you are so unwilling to allow a small company to open some banks. Obviously, you can handle yourself... Korea, being one of the Philippine's largest trading partners, disapproves of the Philippine's legislation. If this is not ended, we will cut all trade with the Philippines. |

Namibia has finally pledged to come down hard on Child Labour. President Pohamba declared that: "For too long I freely admit, this sad state of affairs has been allowed to continue in our republic. No longer! Anyone found to be employing any child under the age of 12 in any capacity will be sentenced to a minimum 6 moths in jail and a fine. Anyone employing children without sufficient pay or in negligent conditions will face a 5 year sentence and the company or individual's assets will be stripped and run as subsiduary of the Namibian government. Operation Freebird has begun." |

Bank of America opens 5 branches in FSM, offering lower interest rate loans than Bank of Oceania as well as guaranteeing that every person asking for a loan will receive one so long as they become a member. This is a huge advantage over Bank of Oceania who does not currently have the money to be able to guarantee loans to every single person who opens a bank account especially at lower interest rates. |

Palikir and the Bank of Oceania have asked the Bank of America not to destroy the business as it is a vital component of the Micronesian economy which is very fragile. OOC: Unlike the Phillippines, I dont have banks going out of business to buy up and quickly just change managmeent, so it'll be a year or so for you to build and set these up. |

ooc: i know that i will take bout 6 months tops to build 5 banks. As for setting them up, that is not that hard really. BoA is already well established in America and thus will not be hard for them to expand elsewhere. |

ooc: like i stated 6 months tops for construction time. it does not take a year to build anything like that especially since it took you like a year to build 3 mega-hotels. so shoot, by that timescale, i will have those 5 banks up and running within 2 months tops. |
