For one, the Philippines embargo against FSM has little to no effect on FSM economy. The many nations who embargoed Philippines has a devastating effect on Filipino economy. The Philippines did not like the fact that a foreign company was opening without permission in their lands. Since it seems that the UN has failed to realize the outcomes of such actions the US now gives full permission for all American companies to expand into every nation that embargoed the Philippines. ooc: may i please have a list Midna? |

OOC: The government doesn't need to give consent for every business to set up shop...its free market...theres nothing stopping Walmart from spreading across Europe or me from opening banks in the Phillippines. |

OOC: And then every fucking European and Asian company will take over your lands... Again, such a small bank would not hurt the Filipino economy. This act was pure bigotry against the FSM company. A foreign company does not explicitly need to receive permission. If you would be so brash to make a move such as "permission for all American companies to expand into every nation that embargoed the Philippines." than we will do the same as them. We will simply not allow your companies within our borders. If the Filipinos can do it, why not us? Obviously, threatening us with your companies isn't going to make things better. Perhaps the Filipino government should be fair to all companies from all countries... |

Things have been restored to normal, except that micronesian businesses need approval. We ask the rest of the world get over themselves and stop making a big deal over a very small event. |

All Filipino businesses need consent to set up shop in Micronesia until the corresponding legislation is removed from Micronesian businesses. |

The Royal Air Force has announced that they have acquired 5 Boeing 757-200 from British Airways for a price of $20 million each. It is, as of yet, unknown what the RAF will use them for. Reports seem to be leaning for cargo. |
