This thread is devoted to the internal workings of Namibia and any international comment on said affairs.![]() In a rare result, Namibia's election has yielded a hung parliament between Mr Pohamba's Swapo party and Mr Zhivute's Democratic Congress. The results were 49.6% to Swapo 50.4% to DC with a 1% margin of error after 5 consecutive ballots as required by Article 28 of the Constitution. To answer this democratic anomaly, a coalition government has been formed with both Zhivute and Pohamba acting as twin presidents, with final say going to Cane Zhivute. Not everyone in parliament is pleased with the result, with many believing Mr Zhivute to be the rightful president, a sentiment shared by many of the population (And equally opposed by many of the population) Both Presidents gave a speech insisting that they had both discussed the matter and felt that this was the best course of action and should be trialled for 6 months. If after this time it is deemed by parliament to be an inneffective system then a new ballot shall be held. |

OOC: Yeah but now your nambia... @US Greenland will first employ the project around the mines and ports and other sites in order to keep the open longer. Greenland then will apply the project to increase the active layer in the permafrost in order to support more plant life. During this phase Greenland will employ a "capping method" capturing the nitrogen and hydrocarbons present in the Permaforst in the new active layer in order to increase the nutrient content of the Active Layer. @Namibia You're point? |
