Germany releases a statement to German citizens in the US. "Please for the sake of stability in the US and the world please hault protest. The US is doing all it can to get through this conflict. But The US cannot do it alone. NATO and the UN are doing nothing. The US is basically working alone in trying to mediate talks and the other nations are doing nothing but escalteing this conflict into more than what it seems. The US is trying its best and we plead to you, Our fellow Germans, To hault your protest." |

The conflicts continue to rage given the latest statement by the US government directed at Korea, Turkey, and Germany. Many see this as a clear affront to the sovereignty of those nations while others see those nations as harming the US with their ridiculous and shortsighted actions. |

Lee Myung-bak made an announcement concerning the animosity felt between Koreans and Americans alike in front of the newly built Seoul City Hall. "Ladies, gentlemen, children, and governors of the United States and the Republic of Korea. I stand here today to apologize in public for the faulty information we were dealt with by our intelligence. This information, upon being given to us, made us believe that the US was undermining what they have fought for since their existence. We believed the US was aiding Turkey on the assault on Cyprus, something we Koreans feel is not for the benefit of mankind. While we will continue our hatred for the Turks over their blunt mistake, I ask the citizens of the US and my respective nation to forgive each other over this ridiculous mishap on our part. Government on both sides have talked and have come to an agreement, and we will continue to seek diplomacy over this childish behavior. All I ask if that our people will do the same, forgive and one day forget. Bickering over this is unreasonable, especially at the magnitude the US is experiencing. I too wish to apologize to Germany on the behalf that we thought wrong about them. We have ended the embargo and we wish to reinstate beneficial relations. We have spoke ill of each other recently, and for what reason? None, none that really matters. I ask that the Germans can forgive us for our actions, as it was also due to illicit information we were given. Our government is willing to forgive, and I believe our people do not share hatred for the Germans in any manner. Let this be a reminder to all, information is necessary but please check your sources; you never know when someone will give you bullshit." |

The new Seoul City Hall is complete and now open. It's opening ceremony took place only a few days ago and included President Lee Myung-bak's speech concerning US-Korean and German-Korean relations. Korea's first COMPASS satellite was launched from Naro Space Center. More will be launched after China approves of activating the satellite. National Assembly passed a bill that prohibits the use of any and all drugs, including alcohol, to all of those under the age of 18. You must also acquire a "drug license" from your local government center in order to legally use drugs. Receiving one of these license requires passing health exams, and exams that test the responsibility of the individual. Store also must acquire a license to sell drugs and or alcohol. |
