China has finished specifications and designs to it's long awaited carrier project, which has benefited from the acquisition of numerous plans, and many ships themselves. The carrier program has been underway for decades, and the completion is a milestone. The importance of this program isnt looked down on, and that is why several shipyards will cease construction of one or more massive tankers, and instead take up production of these ships, if any civilian shipbuilding has to be cancelled, then it will be done, and the contracts repayed. Original plans called for up to 90 planes to be carried, however concessions were made when it came to add SAM and anti ship weapons on to the ship. 6 have been ordered, laid down immediately

Quote:

Displacement: 60,000 tons
Length:1015 ft at waterline;
1,090 ft  overall
Beam: 129 ft 4 in(waterline)
Draft: 35 ft 9 in
Propulsion: Steam turbines 280,000 shp
Speed: 34 knots
Complement: 4,300

Armament:

1 X Quad YJ-12
2 X Quad YJ-83 launchers
4 X Type 730 CIWS
2 X RIM-162 ESSM
4 X Rolling Airframe Missile(If license can be given by USA)

Aircraft carried:  75

Forgot about this. The ships are continuing construction at a normal rate. The thousands of chinese who have jobs because of this are very greatful for the opportunity to construct our first carriers. The ships are nearing launch date, at which time they will then continue with the installation of various systems, such as defense systems, electronics, and other systems, at which time they will then go to sea trials.

In the LSU, Ghaddafi was going through the potential heirs to the throne. His Children were incompetent, his Aids were to detatched from the problems of Society. While someone had proposed a "Fountain of Youth" through a brain transplant, it was yet again probably some science fiction, however that is when the Idea finally struck him.

If I have no suitable heirs, why do I not just create one? You, yes you come here. Go find that Human Genome Project or whatever you call it researcher that works for Medical Mechanica, bring him to me. Do it NOW

The Aid who he had told that to bowed, and said Yes My Lord

For now, he would have to wait.

Hyundai announces a plan to build a a synchrotron in the western most point of Hamgyong bordering Russia. It will be named the KOREA Center (Korean Observations and Research of Energy and Atoms). It will be entirely underground which will allow a new, planned city to be built on top, rendering it completely hidden from view. This will allow Korea to research new technologies, including innovative machinery and devices as well as weapons that will be a part of the Korean goal to benefit all mankind.
