K201 goes into mass production, now fully replacing the M203. All current M203s are now put into storage and may be sold or used later if there is a need. K11 goes into mass production, and it is now mandatory for all squads to carry at least 2 during any operation. |

BBC News: "Sad news out of the Vatican today as word has just reached us that Pope Benedict XVI has died of an apparent heart attack during this mornings Mass. Already the Carlemengo has called the Catholic churches Cardinals together to elect the next pope. The passing was so sudden however that whoever could be pope, can be pope. Usually there are 4-5 cardinals who are most likely to get elected to the Holy Post, however it seems that with the recent events happening in the world, such as some Cardinals approving of the South Korean ban on anti homosexual speech and the creation of a government run prostitution ring, the four who would be Pope, are much less likely to get the position. Some have said it may even go to a relative unknown in the Church. Unfortunately, Vatican law prohibits an autopsy on the Popes corpse, so we will never know if the Pope had an actual heart attack or if Angels and Demons is coming true." |

Korea, although not very close to Catholics, expresses their sorrow for the pope and hopes the new pope will do well. But we worry that if the church is not willing to accept people for who they are, they will simply stay in the 18th century. OOC: South Korea does not exist. |

Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda, Archbishop of Windhoek and Cardinal of Namibia puts himself forward for the position. "I have heard the word of GOD calling me to be his appointed representative on the mortal coil. I have seen the damage of diseases like HIV Aids and know that it is my calling to do all I can to strike down this unholy pandemic. I will not ask my fellow cardinals to vote for me, instead I ask that GOD's will be done according to his Holy design." ![]() |

BBC: "164 Cardinals have gathered in the Vatican City to elect a new pope to replace the late Pope Benedict XVI. While we do not have a list of preferred candidates or any way to know who will win this election (the electors are sealed in a building with no contact with the outside world), we do know that the new Pope will be one of the older Cardinals, do to the traditional laws of Popedom. More as this story develops." |
