The upgrades have been approved by the WDC leadership, and have been sent to Lockheed Martin and Boeing for an estimate in what it would cost.

EDIT-
The WDC has also sent a request to the US government to purchase $850,000 worth in bonds, so as to contribute to the economy and to eventually contribute to ourselves in the future.

The Federated States of Micronesia has begun a large scale project on Sokehs Island just off Palikir. Employing egineering grad students from Korea's SIT and hundreds of workers around the clock, a massive statue monument dedicated to the unification of the Pacific Islands is being built and is planned to be unveiled at the fifth year anniversary.

Work has begun stabilizing the ground for the massive project and initial payments of $15 million have been contracted. Nearly 12,000 tons of concrete and steel are ordered and machines begin prepping the land.

Pacific Fuels has taken over the last of the fuel service in Micronesia serving the entire populace. Two more stations were opened in Australia as well. Work on tapping into Fiji's oil reserves continues and every step to ensure spills do not occur and the environment is not destroyed are taken.

The Bank of Oceania's branches slowly open as they set up in the buildings they have purchased.

Oceania Heavy Industries has become a subsidiary of Pacific Telecom. PT has begun taking over all telecommunications within Micronesia and various other electronic services. Under PT, OHI continues elling her products and has finally begun producing her own personal watercraft out of a factory built in one of their steel buildings. They have also begun building their own computers and hardware for sale rather then just distributing.
