BBC:

"This just in, it seems that the Cardinals, unable to pick amongst themselves a Pope, took to agreeing a name to shout into the heavens. This, by tradition will make.... Benito Veta, a Catholic Billionaire who has made many spiritual and monetary donations to the Church and catholic charities, the next Pope. What's odd about this, besides his method of election, is that his politics and views on certain religious issues are unknown. We will bring you an exclusive interview in just a few hours while Benito Veta is briefed on his new duties."

Palikir is beginning an effort to colonize many of the uninhabited islands within the country. These islets, while possibly being a bit of trouble to get off the ground, have tracts of precious land Micronesia needs and can once prepped and colonized, can begin to grow crops and provide way stations for boats and fishing fleets as well as possibly become new residential getaways for wealthier citizens or just become a town.

The government is gathering funds to begin developing these islets as economic expansion requires more usuable land and the growing population needs places to live and give the main islands some breathing room.

The following islands have been selected to be the first in line for thi program. Some of the islands selected already have a small population and will simply have their land put to use. If not occupied, each island will have a small village constructed on it for workers and their families to live in, a small school house, and a dock capable of harboring a handful of boats 50-100 feet long or so to take crops out and for fishing. The houses and docks and the farmland will be sold to the residents who move in to cover construction costs, the school will be state property, and things can continue.

Lightly Populated:

Eauripik
Kapingamarangi
Nukuoru
Namonuito Atoll
Pakin Atoll
Pattiw Islands
Pingelap
Ulithi Atoll
Woleai Atoll
Satawal Island
Satawan Atoll

Uninhabited:

Ant Atoll
Fais Island
Faraulep Island
Gaferut Island
Ifalik Atoll
Ngulu Atoll
Sorol Atoll

Other:

Pikelot

The project has begun on the islets and atolls of the original Federated States first. The project will develop farmlands for coffee, bananas, nuts, and tropical fruits on these islands. The inhabited islands need no more then this farmland as the schoolhouses and docks and homes are already there.

The project of developing these islands will add 43 square kilometers of farmland or over 17,000 acres of coffee trees producing nearly 11,000 pounds of raw coffee annually and bringing the country 188 million pounds of coffe going for almost 10 dollars per pound bringing $1.8 Billion in revenue.

Pikelot is famous for its rich ecosystem and Palikir is adding it to its tourism route. Outrigger canoes and Micronesian guides will take tourists from nearby islands to Pikelot to sight see and hunt for turtles and iguanas as natives have done for thousands of years.

Three Months after the first planting, the crops are being tilled into the ground, with more crops of a different variety being planted(list of different things above). Sector 3 and 4 will begin tilling, and have water pipes extended to there as well. 6 "lakes" are being dug in Sectors 1 and 2

**Classified**

The Matjhabeng mine, Eland Shaft(specifically) is being converted into a Underground Command Center. The Mine itself will be expanded, and more levels will be dug underground. The tunnels will have to be "expanded" by a total area of 6 inches in every direction in order to allow for Wiring from the Surface, along with proper Air, and Water flow to the facility. Work will begin immedietly.

The US asks that Mexico, Yucatan, and Chiapas to put in military equipment requests and the US will ensure that the costs are bearable. ((please put them in the American military sales thread as i am trying to reduce the amount of threads i have to update. thanks))

Mexican Dominion: We would like to order at least 100 of your latest version of the Abrams. We wish to license the production of the M4A1, FGM-148 Javelin, Milkor MGL (Which you don't build, but you have it in service), P228, M16A4, M870, MP5, and the M24A3. We also wish to purchase at least 100 M1097 Avengers.

As for aircraft and ships, we must wait or we will push ourselves far into debt. We also ask if the USA could set up a base outside of Tenochtitlan (Mexico City). This base will be jointly owned by both Mexico and US for 5 years which then will be fully turned to us. This will allow the US to train our new military until we have gotten to the capability of doing it ourselves. This will also serve as the beginning of an FTA and MDP if you wish to make one with us.

Yucatan: We wish to purchase 3 Arleigh Burke and 3 Ticonderoga. We also wish to purchase 75 F-15C and 20 F-15D. We also seek to purchase any recommended, cheaper small arms as well as a cheaper tank, APC, and IFV.

Mexico- 100 Abrams SEPTUSK QKAPS- $5.25 million apiece of which America will waive $125 million ($400 million total for the tanks)

100 M1097 Avengers- $300,000 apiece

Licenses- $10 million apiece

The US offers all of this on a payment plan (5 years basically) to help ensure that you do not gain debt.

The base will be a joint army/airbase with air defense systems in place. It will accomodate 150,000 troops (split at this time), 6 squadrons of fixed wing aircraft (split again), 4 divisions of tanks (split), 4 divisions of rotary wing (split), 3 Patriot PAC-3 PDB-6 MSE with full upgrades.

Yucatan: 3 Arleigh Burke- $500 million apiece
3 Ticonderoga- $1 billion apiece
75 F-15C- $30 million apiece
20 F-15D- $30 million apiece

As for small arms we recommend the M16A2 and M16A3 rifles can be sold for $500 apiece along with 2 full ammo clips for each rifle. ($500 total for the rifle and 2 clips)
As for pistol the MEU(SOC) pistol (.45 ACP) along with 4 clips can be sold for $350 each.
The US sends a list of all the weapons currently in use in their armed forces for Yucatan to scan through and decide upon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_indiv...Forces#Handguns

For a cheaper modern tank we offer the M60-2000 MBT. It is a hybrid of an M60 with an upgrade similar to the M1A1. $1.35 million apiece.
