Solar System Name: What is the solar system called?
Stars: List the number of stars in the system, their sizes, and their colors (so we know how hot they are).
Planets/Moons:

  • Planet 1
Distance from the sun(s): How far away is the planet from the system's sun(s)?
Circumference of the planet: How far around is the planet?
Surface description: Describe what the planet looks like when on the surface. Be sure to denote if the planet is terrestrial or a gas planet during this.
Surface temperature: What is the average range of temperatures on the planet?
Revolution Length: How long is one day on the planet?
Orbital Length: How long is one year on the planet?
Gravitational pull: How strong is the planet's gravity (compared to earths. IE, its half of earth's, or its 1.2 of earth's)? Remember that the mass of the planet effects this.
Satellites: Include here the natural satellites (moons) of the planet.

  • Make sure any natural satellites are listed separately from the planet description and do the same for the satellite that you did when describing the planet.

  • Moon 1
Distance from the planet: How far away is the planet from the planet?
Circumference of the planet: How far around is the moon?
Surface description: Describe what the moon looks like when on the surface.
Surface temperature: What is the average range of temperatures on the moon?
Revolution Length: How long is one day on the moon?
Orbital Length: How long is one year on the moon?
Gravitational pull: How strong is the moon's gravity?
  • Other
This is where you enter in things such as an asteroid belt, or anything else in the solar system that doesn't fit into the planet or satellite category. Fill in any data from the pervious description that would fit for this object, like distance from sun, ect.

Rinse and repeat this until you feel your solar system is done^

Native Species: Makes sure to denote what race, if any, came from this system, and denote which planet they are from..
