as it shows else where in this section I'm painting a necron army for commision. while I'm painting it red and black I wondered who else paints their necrons something other then metal colors? any one else use diffrent colored glow rods? Lets see some samples of your necrons... |

Ok well I still can't figure out how to use the dam camera but i will describe them for you. I use bolt gun metal mixed with black for the base colour and midnight bule with a ultramarines blue high light on the shoulder pads and insignia etc. as for the glow rods they are still green but i want to paint them so as they look like they are a night vision red |

plastruct makes clear plastic rods in various colors that are easy to modify to replace the GW ones |

I think I got ten rods which I did almost 70 becrons with for around 4 dollars american |

:lol: The cron codex has a few but nothing amazing i have seen one with a plastic-y colour  it was like gray but hed done it really strange, it was when i first started 40K on a few sites i cruised till i found the few i wanted to stick withIve always wanted to see a wooded cron though :lol: |

i like the white parts on the pariah (sp?). what i would like to see is a crome 'cron, prollie one of the larger ones like a destoyer or tomb spider  perhaps an anime plasti-armour styled, too weird? DM
