In the five years Bee had lived in New York, she had been to some pretty fancy places. Five star hotels and restauraunts, rich frat boys house parties at lakes or in penthouse suites. However, she'd never been to something like this.

A beautiful townhouse in West Village, filled with expensive things that she was petrified of touching, with a decent guy who hadn't made a single innapropriate remark or tried to bed her as of yet. Blake Kensington (the third) was a type she'd never truely encountered before.

The son of some Lord in England, he had perfect manners that matched his posh upper crust English accent, boyish blond hair and blue eyes. And what was most important - he treated Bee like a Princess. He'd even picked her up for this party, coming up to the flat and giving her a bunch of beautiful - and expensive - flowers. He'd even managed small talk with Alma, who had strategically sat on the couch so she could size him up, dragging poor Angel into her investigations.

She'd met Blake by chance at a bar, and hit it off pretty well, leading to numerous dates before this particular one. And he'd remained a gentleman the whole time, never going for more than a romantic kiss - something Bee was very much not used too.

"So this is a Columbia party? Are you sure they won't smell a lowly NYU student in their midst?" She asked teasingly as they exited the chaffeured town car.

"Don't be stupid. NYU is a fantastic school. Columbia's just been around longer." He assured her, helping her up the steps before knocking on the door, which opened instantly. "Just be yourself and everyone will love you." He told her seriously as they entered, handing their jackets off to be hung up by a waiter - or butler...she wasn't sure. She was severely out of her comfort zone.
