Kitty scowled. Or tried to scowl. She was sure she was doing some kind of scowl like thing. After a milliseconds consideration, she decided against feeling her face to make sure.

Logan was not listening to her. She could tell. Over the years, she'd had a lot of practice telling the difference between Logan-listening and Logan-not-listening. And he was totally not listening to her protests about not being clutter, even if he seemed like he was listening. Or...something.

"The chairs threw us, anyways." Sam added, and Kitty nodded her agreement. That, too, even if Logan's "Course it did." sounded a whole lot like he didn't think it really did. He was being really difficult, trying to sneak all that in there and thinking she wouldn't notice.

And they were not kids. At all. They hadn't been kids in...in...a really long time. The brunette was pretty sure it had been long, and there had been lots of stuff since they were kids.

Sam didn't even have that funny haircut anymore, so there.

"Nope, no kids here. Haven't been a kid since, since I a-ar...came." Frowning, she tried to figure out what was wrong with that, because there was something kinda wrong with that... Even though she wasn't entirely sure what it was, Kitty stifled a giggle anyway. Sam looked away from Logan to the counter. "'Sides, I have a sammich to finish. Don't wanna be hurtin' too hard for the party tomorrow." She was nodding again, which was making the room do weird stuff, again, and Kitty decided she should probably stop that, even though Sam was right, and she needed to agree with him.

Especially since Logan had that not listening look again. And agreeing but not really sounding agree-ish at all.

Kitty tried to narrow her eyes at him, but yawned instead. Logan being difficult was making her sleepy.

"You sent them alien strippers back to Jersey right? I don't think they'd go over well at the wedding." her companion in sandwiches and not being a kid added, and Kitty glanced at Logan again as he replied, "If one stays, someone else asked her to."

And there she went, shaking her head again and poking Logan in the shoulder.

"Nuh-uh, you can't let Peter keep one. Peter is bad with alien girls." Logan, she was pretty sure, should know that already, but just in case he didn't remember. Yawning again and thinking for a second, she added thoughtfully, "You should give them to Kurt. He likes alien girls. Especially ones with feathers."

Obviously, this was the perfect solution. Kurt had liked Cherise, and she was alien, even if she wasn't from Jersey. Something told her, a little belatedly, that there might be a problem with this idea, too, but she decided figuring it out was too much trouble.

"I think I need a nap," Kitty said instead, leaning against Logan a little more as she tried to remember where she'd left her room.

Clearly Logan didn't understand how evil the chairs were. They very likely could have been possessed or evil minions of Ms. Frost. Or Yana, one really never knew with her. And Logan was still giving him a look that gave Sam a case of the heebie-jeebies. Not as bad as it had been when Logan had come in earlier, but still.

He also seemed suspect with everything Sam was saying. Kitty wasn't being any help either. She was studying Logan something fierce. Or maybe she was falling asleep. It was hard to tell.

After he inquired about the strippers Logan replied, "If one stays, someone else asked her to." Logan smirked at that.

But the smirk wasn't pleasant. It was almost down right evil. That combined with the look Logan had had in his eye since he wandered in to the kitchen had Sam reconsidering his plan to stay here. Maybe it was best if he followed all of Wolverine's wishes. Then he wouldn't end up a shishkebab.

Kitty however seemed pretty riled by Logan's answer. Or, at least riled enough to go poking Wolverine, which Sam considered to be pretty risky.

Sam tried to wrap his head around why anyone would encourage leaving anyone with alien strippers from Jersey. I mean if they asked for it sure...but Sam wouldn't encourage it. He wouldn't be surprised if Bobby asked for one of them to stay. But then considering the type of girls Bobby wished he could bring back to X-Factor headquarters with him...well, Sam wouldn't be surprised.

"I think I need a nap," Kitty said instead, leaning against Logan a little more as she tried to remember where she'd left her room.

Sam was tempted to do the gentlemanly thing to do and offer to take Kitty back to the so called guest rooms, but Logan had her well supported. Sam wasn't about to risk getting himself yelled at or worse for coming any more than ten feet closer to one of Logan's girls again.

"Y'know, I'm just gonna take my sammich for the road," Sam decided. He picked his sandwich up off the plate and waved it jovially at the pair off mutants. "G'night. Get t' bed safe."

With that, Sam headed out the door and hopefully to relative safety away from scary, super metal coated claws.

[Off to Fun With Shots- Let me know if you guys want a further response from Sam to any of your other stuff]

That got a chuckle out of Logan. He could definitely picture both of those things. And since he didn't have any ill will towards those two particular X-Men at the moment, he took it in stride. He'd even let the poke and the petulance go. "Reckon the elf can handle that just fine himself. And last I saw him your boy Peter seemed pretty sober. Don' worry bout them."

"I think I need a nap," Kitty said instead, leaning against Logan a little more as she tried to remember where she'd left her room.
That suited Logan just fine. uch as he was getting a kick out of all the drunken hijinx around the mansion, he'd rather see Kitty in particular going to bed. Her bed. Alone. He curled his arm around her a bit more, and shifted towards the door. "Sure thing darlin', I'll walk you up."

"Y'know, I'm just gonna take my sammich for the road," Sam decided. He picked his sandwich up off the plate and waved it jovially at the pair off mutants. "G'night. Get t' bed safe."
"You do that." Logan agreed offhandedly. Sam may still qualify for the moniker 'kid', but he was one of the ones Logan trusted to chew gum and walk at the same time. If he wanted to go staggering off into the night, that was his call. Might get Logan another laugh or two out of this damn night.

"C'mon Kitty, let's get you to bed." He declared, leading Kitty out while she was still feeling placid.

(Exit unless Kitty objects?)

"Reckon the elf can handle that just fine himself. And last I saw him your boy Peter seemed pretty sober. Don' worry bout them." Kitty frowned at Logan, in both confusion and...not-right-ness, which she wasn't totally sure was either an expression or an emotion, but mostly worked for what she needed it to. She was pretty sure Peter not being drunk wouldn't keep him away from the alien girls. As far as she knew, he hadn't been drunk last time, and it hadn't kept him from running off with one. And dumping her.

But she was totally over that, which was why he wasn't her boy anymore. Logan may have forgot all that, though, because it was a long time ago. Kitty opened her mouth to point out her infallible logic of why alien bird strippers were still a danger to tall Russian boys. Instead of words, it just came out as a yawn.

Maybe she really should take that nap. A nap would be good.

"Sure thing darlin', I'll walk you up." Kitty smiled and patted Logan's shoulder, because he was going to help her find her room, since she didn't remember where she'd left it.

"Okay," she agreed, leaning against him and deciding that, really, she could probably sleep right her. They didn't have to go all the way up to the room.

But then Sam and his sandwich were leaving, and she had to open her eyes again to wave at him, otherwise she might be waving at the fridge, or the stove, or the counter. "Bye, Sam. We'll find Rachel and do jello shots next time," the brunette promised.

Rachel was lots more fun than feathery strippers. Or she was pretty sure she was, but Emma hadn't gotten Jean any feathery strippers.

"C'mon Kitty, let's get you to bed." Logan urged and she nodded again, putting one foot carefully in front of the other as they went to find her bedroom, since the floor seemed to still be doing a little of that moving thing. She really hoped it'd be done with that by the time she woke up again.

(And they are off-panel to Kitty's room, where she will likely sleep a while, then get up to wander off and annoy someone else, and possibly lose her room again, unless you have something you want to add, Ogre.)
