Physical

Age: 29
Height: 511
Weight: 145
Hair: White
Eyes: Blue

General Appearance: Ororo is a tall, statuesque woman with long, wavy white hair and light blue eyes. Shes very fit, with an hourglass figure that she is unafraid of showing off. Ororo is a fashionably dressed woman who carries herself as the queen she is. Still, sometimes Ororo dresses quite scantily in the ways she was used to as a goddess of the Serengeti. In her current state, Ororos looks are far from what they once were and she lacks her general demeanor from having been locked inside one of her greatest fears.

Personal

Known relatives: David Munroe (Father, deceased), NDare (Mother, deceased), TChalla Udaku, NDare and NYami (daughters), Shuri Udaku (sister-in-law)
Group affiliation:
Mutant Powers: psychically linked to the weather patterns of Earth, allowing her to command meteorological energy patterns to raise or lower temperature levels, direct air currents as hurricane-force winds, a pressure dome that can deflect attacks, or to maneuver herself through the sky, excite electron particles to call down lightning bolts, scramble incoming psionic assaults, or fire electrical blasts from her fingertips, and summon clouds as fog cover or in order to bring forth precipitation such as rain, snow, sleet, and hail, alter her body temperature to compensate for weather conditions, and can manipulate her own perceptions to see electrical energy and the factors behind weather phenomena

AU Strengths and Weaknesses: Ororo has spent even more time cultivating her powers into a weapon in 815. She has yet to figure out how to draw down solar flares from space but she knows she has the potential to do it. She has also worked hard to control her temper as when she begins to lose control she has the potential to catastrophically change the Earths climate and potentially destroy the planet. Her greatest weakness remains her claustrophobia. While she has been working to overcome it, her recent capture has only exacerbated the problem.

History: Ororo was born to US photo-journalist David Munroe and Kenyan Princess NDare in Harlem, NYC. Her mothers family had long told stories of ancestors with Ororos coloring and features and her parents thought little of her white hair and blue eyes. When Ororo was still a baby, her father got stationed in Cairo, Egypt to primarily take photos in Africa and the Middle East. NDare was thrilled to be going back to Africa, even if it was far away from her home.

Ororo had a generally happy childhood those first few years of her life. Her mother told her stories of life in Kenya and when David was home he was a loving father. Ororos favorite possession of her mothers was a ruby-crystal that had been a treasure of her family. When Ororo was about 6, however, a plane crashed into their family home. Ororo was trapped beneath the rubble next to her dead mother for hours, which has left her with a severe and terrifying case of claustrophobia that has not left her to this day.
Eventually, Ororo slipped her mothers ruby in her pocket and dug herself out and ended up getting picked up by a group of street urchins. Their master, Achmed-El Gibar, trained her to be a beggar and by the time she was 8, Ororo was an accomplished pickpocket and thief. She frequently picked tourists and even once pickpocketed Charles Xavier. Ororo also had an affinity for stealing rubies and other red gems.

By the time she was twelve; Ororo felt the pull to leave Cairo and began traveling south. She made the mistake of hitching with the wrong man who attacked her and tried to rape her. Ororo escaped by killing him with her knife. She was horrified by the whole ordeal and vowed never to take another human life.

Ororo kept wandering through the Saraha desert. It was on this leg of the journey that Ororo first discovered her affinity and powers surrounding the weather. She harnessed the powers of the wind and found flying to be a much more pleasing method of travel. She could also regulate the weather around her and her own body temperature to make traveling easier. On her way, Ororo discovered men trying to kidnap Prince TChalla of Wakanda to use him against his father the king. She helped TChalla escape and the pair developed a romance. Ororo found herself falling hard for TChalla as they traveled. Sadly, his path was leading him on to studies in England and Ororo was heading for Kenya, her mothers homeland. Ororo was sad to part with TChalla but she knew they were both heading in different directions.

Upon arriving on the Serengeti plane of Kenya, several tribes adopted her as a goddess of life. Ororo worked hard to use her powers to help her tribes whenever she could. Ororo also discovered that her ability to control the weather was directly tied to her emotions and weeded out stronger emotions and became more aloof in order to keep her powers from going out of control. Ororo was also taken in by an elderly tribal woman named, Ainet who helped her control her powers.

While still living as a goddess, Ororo helped the X-Men defeat the mutant Deluge who tried to wrestle away her control on the weather. She did not join the X-Men at this point. However, when the X-Men were captured by the island of Krakoa, Ororo answered Xaviers call to become an X-Man and see more of the world. At first, Ororo found it quite difficult to adjust to life in the western world. Jean Grey helped her to navigate the ways of the world and took her shopping and the two became fast friends.

Ororo found getting along with the majority of her teammates easy. Even the prickly Wolverine became one of her dear friends, with whom Ororo was never afraid to stand toe to toe with to get him to back down. Ororo even began a relationship with Forge, who was an adjunct member and a promoter of technology. Forge and Ororo didnt always see eye to eye but they enjoyed each others company.

She became a valued member of the team despite some of her reservations and fears. Often, how close they came to killing others scared Ororo and made her worry about her vow. Similiarly, her claustrophobia could impact missions very poorly, rendering her nearly useless to her teammates. These issues made her occasionally doubt her abilities as an X-Man.

However, she more often realized the greater good the team did was worth the pitfalls. After she had been on the team for a year, Kitty Pride joined them and Ororo found herself in a motherly position to the young girl whose life was falling apart. Shortly after Kitty joined the team, Jean was killed and Scott took a sabbatical from the X-Men. Professor Xavier made Ororo the new team leader, a job she was not sure she was up for. However, the overwhelming support of her teammates, including Logan who rarely listened to authority, Ororo stepped up to the plate. She even ended up fighting Caliban and becoming leader of the Morlocks as well. With all of her duties, her relationship with Forge became strained and Ororos mind was frequently preoccupied with other matters.

After Kitty got stuck in her phased form and unable to solidify, Ororo put a call in to TChalla who was working with the Avengers to see if he could help save her. TChalla and Ororo worked together tirelessly to save Kitty. With the girl that Ororo viewed as her little sister, nearly a daughter, so ill, all of the walls she had carefully erected to keep her emotions in check were stripped bare whenever she was in the medlab. Her feelings for TChalla were still as strong as ever, and Ororo found that her heart had been left with him the whole time. She quickly ended things with Forge for good this time.

As Kitty recovered, Ororo allowed TChalla to court her. Within a few short weeks, she found herself accepting his proposal of marriage. Ororo was a bit stunned at how quickly everything transpired, but then it had all been fast when they were young as well. She was soon not only running the X-Men but preparing for a royal wedding.

Once they were married, Ororo and TChalla continued to spend a great deal of their time in the States, she leading her X-Men and he was working with the Avengers. Storm worked hard to keep a balance between her work leading the X-Men and the Morlocks and her marriage and her duties as a queen. Their marriage however remained strong. When Scott came back, the two began to share duties and Ororo took more time with her husband.

When the Adversary attacked, Ororo helped lead the team against him. The team was killed but then quickly resurrected by the Roma. The team followed Ororos plan to continue faking their deaths and lying low in the Mansion. For awhile, she even kept the truth from TChalla but ultimately could not remain parted from her husband. The X-Men largely remained in hiding until Madelyne Pryor and the Nastirh trick Illyana Rasputin into opening a portal between Earth and Limbo and turned the New York into a demon realm.

The X-Men and X-Factor are unable to stop Madelyne from sacrificing her and Scotts son Nathan but battle Madelyne and the demons until Illyana can shut down the portal. Unfortunately, Captain America was found deceased in the rubble and mutant kind was put to blame. The government quickly passed the Mutant Registration Act and several other pieces of legislation. Ororo and TChalla retreated to Wakanda as the Avengers fought each other and the government started hunting down powered people.

Ororo and TChalla set up an underground railroad of sorts to ferry unregistered mutants out of the United States and to safety. They have also spent a great deal of time supplying and funding the resistance movement. Ororo even made dangerous trips back into the United States to run missions with the Resistance.

The trips stopped when Ororo found she was pregnant. Ororo was thrilled with her pregnancy but felt guilty for the ways in which her life was being blessed while things continued to deteriorate in the states. She gave birth to twins and they named them NDare and NYami after their mothers. Ororo stayed in Wakanda with the girls long after they were born, unwilling to be parted with them.

The situation has continued to deteriorate as the Sentinels run wild in the United States. The worlds powered nations have begun to grow closer with Genosha and Magneto calling for war and Doom supposedly pulling for the same. Atlantis and Attilan remain neutral, waiting out the decision. TChalla, Ororo and Wakanda are striving to find a way to end this diplomatically without erupting World War III.

In an attempt to avoid what was a seemingly inevitable war, Ororo went back to the states to try and get some of her former political allies to press how desperate the situation would become if the rest of the world pressed its wrath on the United States. While in the States, Ororo was taken by members of the anti-mutant side. She has no idea where she has been held for the past few months. Theyve kept Ororo in a small, underground cell where she is mostly kept paralyzed by fear. Shes lost touch with most of time and duration. At this moment, all Ororo wants is to see the sky and her family again.
