So I've been out of the game for awhile so I just wanna make sure, when using yuu (the TS) with his territory that doesn't allow attacks, does that mean you can't even attempt attacks or just no damage? Just wondering if I used him and wanted to use his "Say It" to cause damage, is it possible?

You can't even attempt an attack while yuu's territory is in play.

I have a question about the territory itself. It just says when anyone plays a card face up, they can’t use that card until they say its title. I’m not sure what is meant by “using” a card as it seems vague. Does this mean that they don’t get the effect of the card until they say the title? Does that mean that if they play an event, they can at some time later in the game get the effect after they say the title?

For example, suppose my opponent plays Burst of Power, pays the spirit cost, and places the card in the discard pile. Suppose they do not say the title, but on their following turn they do. Would they get the effect then?

I'll clarify this to the best of my abilities, because it's a really complex card and causes headaches for everyone. Items, and Techniques can be delayed with access to them because they stay on the field, but you will not get any benefit from them until you say the name. I believe character cards will stay in the 5th slot, but if you've never said the character's name and you get to the 5th match, it counts as them not having a 5th character. Event cards however are never played on the field, unless you're playing a card that goes into the winner's circle; however you can't target cards in the winner's circle by other card effects, so they have to be activated right away, and can't have their activation delayed.

Yuu Kaitou's Territory
Effect: When a player plays a card face-up, he cannot use it until he says the title of the card.

So we have to look at the actual stages of playing a card to get an answer to this.

1) The Floating effect of Yuu Kaitou's Territory is in play
2) You play Burst of Power
3a) You say "Burst of Power"
4) You pay the spirit energy cost of Burst of Power
5) You draw the cards from Burst of Power, then discard two
6) Burst of Power is placed in your discard pile
7) Burst of Power is no longer on the field

3b)You do not say Burst of Power
4) You still pay any spirit energy cost that a card costs, because you cannot willingly discard cards for free from your hand for free.
5) You place the card in your discard pile
6) Burst of Power is no longer on the field, and cannot be activated at a later point

Now, there are other possibilities with this set of steps as well that should be addressed. With cards that can be played from the discard pile is where things get a bit more tricky. Say you were to play Challenge of Wills, and had the Genkai Team Bonus to gain the ability to play it from the discard pile, it would still require you to play the card and say "Challenge of Wills" to activate the card in the first place, to then gain the ability to play it from the discard pile, as the ability to play it from the discard pile is a floating effect left-over from the initial playing of the card.

Thanks, Karmic!

I was surprised not to see it on the errata list, but now I kinda see why given how complex the card is.

One last clarification that I forgot to include. Character cards that gain special effects from having cards attached to them, will not gain benefit from them if the card is left in an inactivate state for not having its name read. Those cards can still be targeted by discard effect cards such as Busted, however.
