Profile still being worked on. ^-^ Name: Medusa, Lamia Gender: Female Age: 25 Race: Mutant Home World: Some Distant World Alignment: Evil _______ Appearence: At the most casual of glances, Lamia appears human enough. Standing about 6'1", she sports relatively dark, smooth skin and vibrant, neon green hair. On even the slightest of closer inspections, though, the differences between herself and any regular creature begin to shine through. Her eyes are a deep, vivid red, practically glowing in the dark--and more noticeably still, a black horn protrudes from the center of her forehead. Lamia also totes sharpened fangs and a long, serpentine tail, though these are both common features of her particular species; it's the black horn, blood red eyes and unusually toned skin that portray her as a bad omen to the rest of her race. She stays in extraordinary shape, as her body breaks down food more efficiently than a human body does. ![]() Personality: Raised among the overly religious, Lamia has a tendency toward superstition. She's heavily into spirituality, believing in things like karma and the afterlife. Because of the trouble she's been through due to her appearance, she doesn't trust easily; she constantly fears betrayel, but understands the need to have others to help her achieve her goals. This, combined with her faint sense of superiority over other "normal" creatures, gives her something of a pompous attitude. She feels she deserves just a little bit more than the common do, that her unusual genetics make her destined for something great. She feels the need to be in control at all times, and demands respect, if not absolute worship from those around her. _______ History: Born to a race of zealous snake-like people, Lamia's unusual appearance was taken as a poor omen--a sign of imminent destruction. Though society attempted to have her killed as a child, she was saved by an occult sect of the world's religion--a small group that not only supported her as a harbinger of the apocalypse, but welcomed it as a part of a prophecy. Lamia was raised by this cult, coming to believe in her own destiny as the World Consuming Serpent. Lamia pursued heretical texts and ancient technologies, seeking ways to bring about this doomsday--only to find herself opposed at every turn by the religious warriors of the world. While her rogue tactics and determined spirit made her seem unkillable, the main church eventually found a way to launch her off the planet--tricking her into an old spacepod before jettisoning her into space, hopefully to never be seen again. Lamia, the World Consuming Serpent, would soon find her shaky vessel hurdling toward Earth... _______ Techniques: Work in Progress Transformations: Viperdrive: Once she has her adrenaline circulating properly, and her energy running at a certain level, Lamia is capable of transforming into an even less humanoid version of herself. Presumably the World Eating Serpent prophecied by her former cult, Lamia manifests strong scales and a cobra-like hood, as well as becoming a good half a foot taller. While her power level doesn't actually change, it does cap off, the scales seeming to act as ki restraints--preventing any unused energy from pouring off, and thus leaving her at her maximum capabilities at all times. Furthermore, her denser, stronger body dramatically increases her defense, turning her into a small tank without detracting any mobility. Her entire outlook, strangely, seems to change in this form--she becomes calmer and more restrained, almost benevolent to a certain extent. While it could be argued that she has more pacifistic tendencies in this state, her ability to calculate more coldly easily offsets any loss of risk.

So far my only problem with this right now is that you don't desribe what her clothes look like in your appearence. The picture doesn't exactly show anything though I don't think we should have someone in RP walking around topless. ANyways, just describe the clothes she wears and how they look, and at least a bra or something. |
