i just can't wait to be king general information- NAME: Varinka
NICKNAME: Vivi [pronouced Viv ee] or Rinka GENDER: Female SPECIES: Tigon RANKING: None AGE: Adult
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Pale Lilac eyes. Varinka's basecoat is a creamy color, with an undertone of gray. Being part tiger, she has stripes, but they aren't as bold as her ancestor's designs. These stripes are faded, though some of them are darker than others. They are latte in color, but give off a silvery shimmer when the light hits them just right.
A barcode has been tattooed into her right forepaw’s pad. One might catch a glimpse of it, if she’s lying on her side or back. Otherwise, this mark is rarely seen. There is also a bright teal tag, with strange writings on it, sticking out from her left ear. It's not really an accessory, but she wasn't born with it either. The thing still itches on occasion.
in the circle, the circle of life personal information- PERSONALITY: From the outside, she appears to be "the strong, silent" type. This is half true. Her build is certainly very muscular and she usually speaks in short, to the point sentences.
However, those are merely habits. In truth, Varinka is really shy. It takes her a while to open up and be friendly to any animal she doesn't know. She'll be very silent in crowds, acting guarded and looking disinterested in what anyone has to say to her. No harm or offense is purposely meant by these actions; she's just very uncomfortable in large groups.
With patience and luck, some may find a way to get her to talk more. These few have the pleasure in meeting a loyal, kind-hearted tigoness who loves nature. She adores ladybugs, rivers, and most plant life. For true friends, she will be entirely devoted, displaying bravery in survival situations and highly protective tendencies overall. It's not so bad that it could be defined as 'clingy', but she will stick by their sides like glue.
RELATIVES: None, living or traceable.
HISTORY: To put it simply, Varinka has been all over the world.
Her life began in a lab in Russia. A breeding experiment involving her mother, a lioness, and her father, a Maltese tiger, created the wonder that exists today. The scientists began their studies as soon as she was able to see and walk. After she was weaned, the tigoness was separated from her parents. She hasn’t seen them since.
On a mission to rescue tortured animals, some extreme animal activists burst into the laboratory, rescuing all of the “victims” then burning the building to the ground. Assuming she was purely tiger, the activists labeled her as such and efforts were successfully made to re-release her into the Siberian mountains. There, they left her with an old, nurturing female tiger and she raised the cub for as long as she could. Eslyn, the old female, wore a tracking collar until her death. When the team went to find her body, Varinka was still there, growing sick with sadness at the loss of her dear friend and caretaker. She was helicoptered to a hospital where it was finally discovered that she wasn’t fully a tiger.
From then on, she was moved around to zoos and reserve facilities "all over the world". From Indonesia to Argentina, even Australia, the tigon was flown, boated, and driven to various sites, for observation and research. It was then decided, for another test [building immunity within wild creatures to save future generations], that she be introduced into the wild and to its inhabitants. She'd be firmly watched though, with monitors recording practically every place and experience she would go through. Varinka passed the pre-preparation stages easily, able to interact with others of her breeds and finding food without significant trouble.
And so the main experiment started, even earlier than predicted. She was flown to Africa and left on her own, with a teal tag in her ear and an electronic microchip, which had been surgically placed inside her flank. There, she began traveling through the jungles, greatly enjoying the new scenery and environment.
It was here that she met Raziel. Unfortunately, some poachers had gotten track her as well and her new acquaintance was captured in the process. Blaming herself, the tigon rescued the lion, but got shot in the leg. The bullet destroyed the chip, knocking out the tracing signal. The grateful lion nursed her back to health and the two have been inseparable ever since.

The giant shecat had lagged behind her companion in order to complete a brief scratch session. The bluish tag in her ear was a nuisance, irritating the skin and nerves whenever even the lightest of touches nudged it. A small space around the tag's edges allowed a tiny breeze to pass through, leading to more discomfort and odd, creepy crawlylike sensation.
Shaking herself, she stood up and quickly trotted back to the male's side, only to be greeted with particles of quartz. Her light purple eyes closed tightly, so as not to let anything reach the sensitive lenses. But, other than that, there was no reaction, except for a huff of air from her nostrils, made to fling the intruding debris invading her nose away.
Can you see anything, Rink? You know you’ve got better eyes than me.
A single chuckle thumped in her throat. "Not really," Varinka answered bluntly, "and this landscape isn't helping, Too many dunes." The rolling waves of desert were blocking sections and creating shadows, skewing everything in sight.
