i just can't wait to be king general information- NAME: Tut
NICKNAME: - GENDER: Male SPECIES: Lion RANKING: Rogue AGE: Young adult
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Just as every single lion of his unusual pride, Tut's coat is very bright. Light orange fur with pure white on the end of his muzzle, underbelly and the tips of his paws distinguish him much from other lions he sometimes meets in his journey. His mane and tail tip contrast a lot with his fur - they are solid black, and so are the edges of his ears. His emerald eyes are heavily lined in black, flaring out in the outer corner as though her were wearing eye liner. His build is muscular but slightly more slender then most lions, the hardships of desert life often causing his weight to fluctuate. Forgive me, Ankhese, for copying your words, but that simply couldn't be described better.
in the circle, the circle of life personal information- PERSONALITY: After everything he has been through, Tut has become a very vengeful and headstrong lion - not particularly to be avoided, though he is not really a chatterbox. He's got one ultimate goal: to avenge his parents and make sure Amenh pays for everything he has done, and he has been preparing to do that to the point of obsession. In his solitary struggle, he has managed to learn a thing or two about his ancestry. He believes his family comes directly from the time, when gods were walking on the same sands - particularly, he believes it is Sekhmet, the ancient Egyptian godess of war and blood, who has been guiding the members of his family ever since those ages. Though he does not think of himself as of someone better than others, he is aware of the fact, that he is not an usual lion, and that might make him sound arrogant at times. Though his heart is often consumed by rage and hatred, it is still a heart of gold. Despite his scars, Tut is still a noble lion, capable of anything a lion is, and much more. He is very clever, and somewhere deeply inside of him, he lacks companionship of his sister, who he's been trying to find for so long. He knows the time is coming. And he will be ready.
RELATIVES: Father: Akhena (deceased), Mother: Neferti (deceased), Younger sister: Ankhese, Great-great grandmother: Meryt
HISTORY: Ankhese was born to a King and Queen of a little known desert pride Akhena and Neferti. Her pride had been known for up hold very ancient traditions was said to even worship some very old gods. Her mother and father had earned the title of priest and priestess studying as adolescents in a well hidden temple where they learned along side other creatures of the desert who worshiped the same old gods.
During his time in the temple Akhena had formed a small rivalry and friendship with another young cub named Amenh. The two boys competed at everything, who was the best fighter, hunter, who did the best when they were quizzed in their studies. They even competed when it came to love. When Neferti, princess and heir to a desert pride showed up at the tempble both adolescent males fell instantly and worked effortlessly to win her heart. In the end it was Akhena who won the princess over, much to Amenh's dismay.
As Akhena and Neferti's love grew so did Amenh's jealousy A deep hatred began to form for his former childhood friend until one day Amenh challenged Akhena, fighting with intent to kill his rival. It was Akhena who won in the end, though he could not bring him self to kill his former friend as Amenh had tried to do to him. Once their training was complete Akhena and Neferti returned to Neferti's pride to claim their new roles as King and Queen.
For many years they lived happily. Life was hard in the desert, of course, but their range included areas along the Nile river where lush jungles provided the food and water they needed. After a short time the Neferti gave birth to their son and first heir, Tut. When Tut was a young adolescent his sister Ankhses was born and for a short time the desert family lived peacefully.
Their happy pride, however, did not last too much longer, when Amenh tracked them down to challenge Akhena again. This time, however Amenh had an ambush of jackles he'd formed an alliance with waiting to help him kill Akhena. Sadly, this time, Amenh was successful. With their king defeated the pride now belonged to Amenh, however, the females refused to recognize Amenh as their new king and turned instead, to Neferti to lead them. Enraged by this rejection Amenh turned on the pride, and began to attack the females along with his jackles. Despite having numbers on their side the females could not match the male lion's strength and Neferti was killed in the battle. Before her death Neferti ordered her son, Tut, to take his sister and run, as far as possible, and not return until they were sent for. With their leaders dead and heirs missing the wounded and broken pride had no choice but to follow Amenh.
The adolescent Tut and cub Ankhese found them selves lost in the desert for countless days and nights. Fortunately living their Tut had learned how to survive but with out the pride keep them both alive was difficult. After a time he had no choice but to leave the desert and wonder the jungles and grasslands as rogues.
When Ankhese reached adolescents and learned to hunt efficiently enough to survive on her own Tut decided to return to the desert and challenge Amenh for the pride. Though Ankhese wanted to go with Tut insisted she stay behind, just in case he should fail. Her now adult brother promised to send for her once he'd reclaimed the pride. That was the last time Ankhese saw her last family member.
After parting ways with his sister, Tut has returned to the desert to resume his training in the ancient temple of Sekhmet - to harden his body and soul before challenging Amenh. He didn't spend much time with the other residents of the temple - he was focused so much on achieving his goal, he didn't even try to strike up a mere chitchat often. Tut usually finds that as a waste of time. If only he realised it was his great-great grandmother, who has been the Priestess of Sekhmet, under guidance of whom he was training...
Once the Priestess has convinced him the time was right, Tut has left the temple to wander about in the desert in the search of question, answer to which he has already known. And, after many nights of solitude, he has found it and immediately set off to look for Ankhese around the place, where he has left her. Only then had he realised how much he missed her. How much he worried. How much he cared.
