CIVILIAN PROGRAMS The cost to increase the levels of any of your "Civic Levels" is $1,000,000,000 per .1 increase or $10,000,000,000 to increase it by 1. You do not have to do individual civic programs. Instead, in this area simply post how much of your yearly budget you plan to spend in these areas, subtract the amount of your budget and at the end of the year you will gain a increase based on how much you spent in that area. It should look something like this: Industry: $1,000,000,000 Infrastructure: $2,000,000,000 Education: $500,000,000 Healthcare: $250,000,000 Total: $3,750,000,000 If you did this you would then gain at the end of the year the following stat increases Industry: .1 Infrastructure: .2 Education: .05 Healthcare: .025 Also for every 100 million you spend on domestic programs you gain a 1% increase in your GDP the next turn (on top of what you would gain from your tax levels) So this would next a GDP growth of 3.75% growth in your GDP on top of the growth that your taxes would bring in. NOTE: You can still write out specific programs such as national highways and railways, state-run factories, literacy programs, etc. These will have positive (or negative) effects for your Civic Levels . The above way is just a simple way to handle domestic progression in a macro style/passive way for those uninterested in typing up such programs. If you do write out your civic programs, you will have a little more flexibility compared to past systems. Nations can use slave labor, conscript labor, or criminal labor to decrease the cost of their projects; using this sort of labor decreases the overall cost of your project by 10%. Using slave and/or conscript labor has the downside of reducing your domestic tranquility by 1% for every 50 million that the project costs. Using criminal labor does not decrease domestic tranquility, however it increases the total time of your project by 25%. Note: The benefits of using forced labor only effects projects which are fully written out in the civic programs forum, and cannot be used in combination with the passive flat payments method of increasing stats as described earlier in this thread. MILITARY PROGRAMS Military programs are usually where you create new units. When creating a new unit please include a brief description of the unit, as the basic stats, like armaments, armor, speed, weight, crew, etc. Also if possible include a picture and if based on a real life unit please include a link to said unit. Military programs will increase your military gens of the effect type. For instance if you create a new tank your land gen will increase. Increase will be left up to the mod that undertakes giving you the results. Results will include the time, money and effect that it will take in order for the program to be completed. Money spent on military programs will also have an increase to your GDP although on a smaller scale. For every $100 million spent on domestic military programs you will gain a increase of .5% increase in your GDP growth. Edited by resilientone, Oct 14 2013, 08:08 AM.
