Kirito is so cool. Dammit. <333 I was expecting him to do more cool things with Excalibur (maybe 3-sword combo?) but well, that wasn't bad. I didn't expect Klein at all (sorry, Klein!) but not a surprise since Kirito was there. Good job, boys.

A nice battle, the boss surely was tough but the team did well. The members are acting strange, can't wait for the revelation of their reasons. I wonder why Yuuki mentioned "onee-chan", though.

Yeah Kirito is pretty badass. Although it's a shame we never got to see any of his battle after he drew Excalibur. I want to see him fight with it!

The boss battle was nice too. And yeah, I do wonder about the nee-chan thing. My friend (who knows some Japanese) said that Yuuki has the same family name as Asuna, so they might actually be family. :o

Right. After all that trouble getting Excalibur, we really need to see some actions with it and how far Kirito can play around. Such a disappointment.

Hm, Asuna's full name is Yuuki Asuna. Not sure if it's the same kanji but they are pronounced the same. At this point I don't think they're related by family though, strange for Asuna for not knowing it, haha. But that's possible too, hm...

Definitely. Hopefully we still get an awesome excalibur battle this season. Would be a waste of potential if not. It would be strange for Asuna not to know really, but her family situation is odd in general.

I guess it's what you can expect from high-class family. In a sense it's understandable since the lady of the family got trapped in an online game for years. Her parents would definitely want her to move on and stay away from playing. But other than that... the mother seems to be a dictator while the father is nowhere to be seen. They even pick the wrong assistant which resulted in ALO, meh. :P

Hmm well I don't think it's fair to blame it entirely on her getting trapped in SAO. I mean, when Kirito and others were discussing how they missed their family while they were trapped in SAO, Asuna didn't really say she missed hers at all. That would indicate that she didn't have that good of a relationship with them to begin with. The reason she started playing ALO is because there she could be with her friends and Kirito, people she does care about (and who care about her).

Hmm true, but she could use her last name as her character name, and have a different first name?

True. I'm not saying it was Asuna's fault to get trapped in SAO. I thought that whoever's fault it was, the parents would want Asuna to stay away from the machines completely and live her life properly from that point on. After all, it should've been traumatic for her (which in fact did not, really, because she didn't miss her real life family as you said). That's where the conflict started. As much as it is odd, some points make sense too, haha.

Names can definitely be played with, I don't think it has been mentioned that Yuuki is her real name, so it's still possible to go either way.
