Very much hyped.

Such hype.

I am even more excited to know that it will be practical effects over CGI.

I like that they're keeping that old school element for the series instead of going all CGI.

I am a little displeased Lupita is a CGI alien however. I wanted her to be human.

I just want to see lightsaber fights. I am curious if they will be Original style or Prequel style.

Or a mix of both.

I also want to know what other cameos we might see. Been hearing Boba has a role.

We don't even know who is our new Jedi yet, I mean we can assume Daisy Ridley, but isn't Finn shown with a saber holder in concept art?

And ugh, Boba Fett.

I am surprised at the lack of Luke so far. Can't remember if we even got an image of Luke yet?

I think he's missing in the story isn't he?

We also haven't heard much about Leia's part in the story either.

So I heard.

Seems a lot of focus on Han though. Could be interesting

So thoughts and opinions on the spin-offs? Both announced and rumored?

You know what bugs me about the spin-offs? Besides oversaturation of the brand?

Why are they all set in the original trilogy so far?

Wouldn't it be best to make them about new characters in the new trilogy to enrich that side of the universe?

I think it's because no one knows the new characters

Lucas was the problems with the prequels. He's the problem with the weakest films in the original trilogy too.

I think the franchise has a chance now that he's just kind of sitting back and chilling.

I loved the "original" three. Only saw the first two of the "prequels"--maybe that's a good thing-- and am cautiously awaiting the one in December. And I think we've seen a brief glimpse of Luke Skywalker already, but I can't swear to it...
