Jurassic Park (1993)

During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.

The Lost World (1997)

A research team is sent to the Jurassic Park Site B island to study the dinosaurs there while another team approaches with another agenda.

Jurassic Park 3 (2001)

A decidedly odd couple with ulterior motives convince Dr. Alan Grant to go to Isla Sorna (the second InGen dinosaur lab.), resulting in an unexpected landing...and unexpected new inhabitants on the island.

Jurassic World (2015)

A new theme park is built on the original site of Jurassic Park. Everything is going well until the park's newest attraction--a genetically modified giant stealth killing machine--escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.

1, 2, 4, 3.

Seriously, Jurassic World was overhyped. It's the same formula as the first film, with a little bit of fan fiction tropes thrown in.

For the money it made and attention and reviews it got, you'd think it'd revitalized the brand and done something new with it.

I think it's my favourite simply because we got to see the park in action. Plus text again.

It also had a nice balance of everything.

I haven't seen the 3rd, but I loved the first and I did really enjoy World.
2 was utterly dire and almost completely devoid of redeeming qualities, though. Hated it, and especially hated the characters.

How is the newest one? I haven't heard all that much about it, aside from the female lead running around in high heels, and Star Lord is now a dino wrangler...

Pretty much sums up my thoughts on Jurassic World.

It's not a masterpiece, but I did like it quite a bit. Enjoyed the characters, fun, an amazing fight at the ending. It's definitely way better than 2 (and presumably 3 but I've yet to see it)

Hey! I finally got to see Jurassic World. I kinda liked it. Was pretty impressed with how they tied it back to the original movie...

One thing that annoyed me most about Jurassic World?

The heels.

But not the fact that she wore them.

The fact that it became such a big flipping deal that she did.
