Max, recently orphaned, goes to see a screening of a B-horror movie her mother made twenty years earlier. When Max and her friends find themselves in the world of the film itself, they must apply their knowledge of horror tropes to survive.

Despite not being crazy about the lead actress, I will definitely see this.

I can't wait for this.

Though don't know if I could watch Nina get butchered :(

I feel like it's fairly predictable who survives just from trailer alone.

This is gonna be one of the most fun horror movies of the year. I'm so excited for it, I can almost taste it.

They're definitely the final 3. It's also really obvious which of the mains dies first

I'm hyped for this though. And I actually have some hope for Taissa. She is not good on American Horror Story, but her roles are incredibly weakly written and she's been forced to be one note; on the other hand, I DID like her in Bling Ring and her character in this has some potential. Wouldn't put her as most hyped though (I like Alex and Nina more for a start, and reviews are praising Adam DeVine's douchey jock as hilarious)

The real person we should worry about is Malin Ackerman. She's infamously bad in the Watchmen movie.

I do kind of wish it was R, since it seems to be focusing on parodying a Friday film, and a Friday film would never be PG-13. (Cue: Major news about the next reboot.)

But it's not a major issue.
