Here's where we can discuss The Dresden Files, an urban fantasy series by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden is a wizard living in Chicago, working part time as a consultant for the Chicago PD. He gets called in to consult a particular peculiar case in the first book, and it goes from there. Humor, action, creepy and more pop references. Yes, it was a short lived TV series on SyFy, but they came nowhere near the actual fun that is in the books. B)
