Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer and actress. Born in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, she performed acting roles in stage productions and television shows as a child before signing with Jive Records in 1997. Spears's first and second studio albums, ...Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops!... I Did It Again (2000), became international successes, with the former becoming the best-selling album by a teenage solo artist. Title tracks "...Baby One More Time" and "Oops!... I Did It Again" broke international sales records. In 2001, Spears released her self-titled third studio album, Britney, and played the starring role in the film Crossroads (2002). She assumed creative control of her fourth studio album, In the Zone (2003), which yielded the worldwide success of the "Toxic" single.

I love her <3 My second fav. pop girl behind Xtina. Favorite album would have to be In The Zone, with major HMs to Blackout and Britney. Favorite song is, of course, Everytime (with too many HMs to even BEGIN counting. And that's not even getting into some of her unreleased stuff like Vertigo. But some would be Lucky, Slave 4 U, Overprotected, Lonely, Toxic, Breathe on Me, Shadow, Me Against the Music, Touch of my Hand, Break the Ice, Get Naked, Heaven On Earth, Perfect Lover, Gimme More, Unusual You, Womanizer, Work Bitch, Passenger....)

She has to legitimately be one of the smarest performers and entertainers of our time.

She (and her team) always pick the best songs for her voice, know just the right image for her, and go for it. Plus she has to be one of the most inspiring individuals in terms of all the shit she has went through and she's came back better than before.

Blackout has to be my favorite album.

I wish she'd actually been able to promote it.

I wish Billboard wasn't run by assholes. The album was going to still go #1 until they changed the rules at the last second. More promo would've been great too though

Album Ranking: In the Zone > Blackout > Britney > Circus > Britney Jean (honestly, minus a couple filler tracks, this album is really good) > Oops! I Did It Again >BOMT/FF (BOMT has higher highs, but most the tracks are dated to the point of being unlistenable. On the other hand, FF is just so utterly soulless despite being everything being listenable)

Legitimately the only time I've been extremely disappointed with her was teaming with Iggy.

Then again that's my reaction for every artist who teams with Iggy. Even ones I don't give a crap about like Rita Ora.

Can we deport her? And in Brit's defense, she collabed with Iggy after Fancy, before everyone hated her + she got tons of backlash. Though yeah, very disappointed in Brit. Don't care much for Pretty Girls either

We didn't even know it happened till she tweeted that pic, but I know she's said the album is going to be really different than anything she's done and "artsy" in interviews

She'll be less messy on Twitter at the very least, but yeah. I wouldn't count on ARTPOP 2.0. I just hope we're not getting anything else like PG

Here for it. It'd smash.
You'll see me in hindsight, Tangled up with you all night, Burning it down.
Someday when you leave me, I bet these memories, Follow you around.

Say you'll remember me... standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe.
Red lips and rosy cheeks Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just pretend
