Managed by her father Mathew Knowles, the group became one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. Their hiatus saw the release of Beyoncé's debut album, Dangerously in Love (2003), which established her as a solo artist worldwide; it sold 11 million copies, earned five Grammy Awards and featured the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy". The rest, obviously, is history... Favorite artist of all time, QUEEEN BEEYYY<333333 Every single album slays me, but on a rank: BEYONCÉ>B'Day>4>DIL>IASF. All are amazing tho. Posts: 192 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: August 17, 2015	She's obviously very talented, and I personally love Self Titled. That said, I do find her overrate in just about every aspect. She can sing, but she can't sing as well as Christina or Mariah. She can dance, but she'll never touch peak Britney. She makes some solid albums, but most of her stuff is really safe and exactly what you'd expect from Beyoncé (compared to artists like Madonna, Christina, or Rihanna). She's like the jack of all trades in pop. She can do everything (minus songwriting) well, but she doesn't actually excel at any of it. So.. Yeah, never really been one for the "Queen Bey greatest performer of our time!" thing. Though as said, I do like her. And Self Titled is genuinely great. No idea what the hell happened to her less than a year after; 7/11 and Feeling Myself are downright unlistenable.

I get it that everyone loves their favorite, but Beyonce's die hards take it to this new extreme, where she's almost like the perceived ruler of the universe, can do nothing wrong, every track she touches is a godly masterpiece. I don't know it just kind of sits wrong with me that they've sort made her into this like deity they worship. It's totally a different vibe than any other diva in the game, both past and present.

The Beyhive also like to laugh at anyone who argues Beyonce is NOT the best at anything and everything, or they just threaten to, oh, I dunno. Kill you, your family, and your fav while you're all sleeping. I don't think I've EVER seen a fanbase that is so obnoxiously aggressive and cocky while being so unbearably, excruciatingly insecure whenever someone criticizes their fav.

Sometimes I get a humble feel. Sometimes I get a ''I own all this. See? Them trees? I own them. Those birds chirping? They mine." feel.
