![]() Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) wakes up in a metal box transporting him to The Glade; a mysterious field populated by teenage boys, who have no idea how they got there. Surrounding the glade is a maze that seems to be the only way out. Nobody has ever survived a night in the maze. Thomas vows to find out why, and find a way out. This is my favorite young adult film series. It works as a teen movie, and a mature action/thriller. I really enjoy it, and not because the lead actor is Dylan O'Brien. The writing is fast paced and thrilling, and the monsters in the maze are terrifying. I hope Dylan gets better soon so the third movie can be finished. I heartily agree! You got me into this fandom, and it was well worth it. I remember seeing the trailer for the first movie when I was going to see a different one, and thinking, "Now THIS movie's going to be cool!" But I didn't get to see it until quite a while later. Now, I own both movies and the whole quadrology (that's all 4 books out currently). Can't wait for the next book, and hoping Dylan is well enough soon to get the third movie made, even though it's going to kill me....

Seriously!? Alex, the second movie is even better than the first! More action and stuffs (not to mention a hysterical gag reel on the DVD)

I'll be honest. I blame ''APOCALYPTIC TEENAGE WASTELAND" fatigue. Don't get me wrong love me some Dylan and he's the reason I watched the first, but just because he's not Woodley or Lawerence and doesn't have a vagina I just have a tough time wanting to get into another franchise like that. Hell, I have no intentions of finishing the Divergent series at the moment either. I'll probably finish this one though. |

I said I'd finish them. They're Dylan's major gain to movie fame. I want to support him in that. ![]() *casually shoves your plans back in your face and makes you put them back on your calendar* |

Please do! I actually like the Maze Runner movies BETTER than Hunger Games, and had no plans to watch Divergent(Nothing about that one appealed to me). TMR movies are actually better done, IMHO. |
