"Pupaganda" :D Love it.

How do you design these, Pupa? Do you use Illustrator or do you work by hand?

I paint them by hand using Acrylics. It takes me about a month or more to complete based on size and detail of the painting.

I'm actually going to create another 9/11 painting soon that will highlight Building #7.
This painting will have a cat in it and will definitely make people think...even hard-of thinking people!

I'll make sure to bark to everyone when I start it.

Right now I am working on two paintings that deal with Tvs and Mind-Control.
I'm super excited about completing these!

My website is www.PopARF.com but I'm in the midst of changing it to PUPAGANDA.com to better fit my new artwork.

Right now if you go to PUPAGANDA.com you will find my blog where I feature articles of news that I read and think are important.

I'm hoping soon to have all my websites be complete and posted!

Bow Wow,

Nate Janes

even hard-of thinking people!

Arfarfarf! :D

You know how they have seeing-eye dogs and hearing-ear dogs? Why not thinking-brain dogs? Seems like there would be a huge market. (You can have the idea for free if I get a print.)

Nate, I love the print of With Liberty and Justice for All which I got when you first publicized that most awesome work. Many friends admire it. I'm in the midst of moving, but I'll post a picture of it on my new wall when I can.

Your upcoming stuff sounds great!

I found that melted ice cream makes a great paint,
that holds its' vivid colour and loses its' stickiness , once dried.

I'm not a painter,
but it sure is hard stuff to wash off the floor.
...and it's edible.
(I never noticed this before, when I had a dog.)

cheers, lunk

Wait. What ice cream are you eating that has vivid color?

Generic Neapolitan,
white, brown, and pink.
Yum!

It dries thick with a glossy luster.
I don't know if it will work as paint,
but it may be fun to try.

When I had a dog, I only needed to wash the kitchen floor after a rain, and it was just dog prints, never ice cream remnants.

Ok, well, the food coloring that makes the 'pink' is probably fugitive. Don't know about the chocolate. Since it is so hard to get out off my white shirt, I assume it's pretty stable. Still, I'm willing to let some ice cream melt on one of my canvases and let it dry. Maybe I can coax a cool mold to grow on it or something, too.

You do know about milk paint (see also) and egg tempera (see also) right? And of course, there is also "sugar paint".

Those links are just to confirm that your "ice cream as paint" hypothesis isn't as off the wall as (knowing you) you might like it to be. :D

Actually, I was very impressed by the hard, thick non-sticky lustrous rich colour, of the dried ice cream drops on the floor, and although, I am not a painter of canvas, I have painted my share of walls, ceilings and furniture, and having worked in the newspaper printing industry, I sort have got a technical understanding of sought after qualities, in paint and ink.

Of course, it sounded "off the wall,"
(that's just my style for getting a new idea across,)
...but I really do think that this might just work as a paint.

You don't have to use all the ice cream for paint, you can eat it, too.

cheers, lunk
