![]() Truth Grows by Peter Revere was the first work done by someone besides me for the Artists for 9/11 Truth Project at the beginning of '08. All the work everyone is doing now is so great, and I'm deeply gratefull for any effort anyone makes in regards to this project. Truth Grows will always be my sentimental favorite though. 9/11 Truth Grows - Full Size and Original Context Edited by 911ARTISTS, Jan 1 2009, 07:46 PM.

Brilliant! The children walking into the future with the ghost of 9/11 in their forebear's past. The spiderweb and planet on their shirts, and the wildflowers. Sigh. It didn't take me long to give up on the notion that the perpetrators of the crime of the century would ever face justice. To me, the job of the 9/11 Truth Movement is to make sure that we never forget. Something the sheeple seem to have forgotten. We must never forget, and our children must know to the seventh generation. There must be a generational history, a word of mouth history, that is passed down. That is why I am so thrilled to know so many young people who are awake. They are our hope as they will teach their children well. Face it. We learn about history by what we learn from others, not from books or TV. Art is the most powerful tangible clue that we have to past times. The art of our time will shape the perception of those in the future as to who we were and what we wanted them to know about us. I had an idea a couple of years ago that I never followed up on. It's something that people could do everywhere. The Tree of Truth. Plant or dedicate a tree somewhere special in your community. Have a ceremony. My idea was to have the tree in the Fourth of July Parade and plant it in the park that afternoon. Put a plaque dedicating the tree to 'All those who died in the 9/11 attacks and those who have died in the subsequent wars'. Even put a time capsule there filled with both official and alternative information about 9/11. The future must not forget, and works of art are the best way to propel the information through time. |
