Ok, so anyone who knows me knows I LOVE music. I am probably one of the biggest listeners of music on here and currently have over 700 songs on my MP3 (most at one time being 1152). So I thought, who are my top 100 favorite artists/bands of all time? I judge my favorites on who I think is the best, so this list would also be the 100 greatest artists/bands of all time (in my opinion).

So, over the past six or so days, I've been working hard on compiling a list of who I truly believe to be the greatest musical artists of all time, from any and all genres as well. Remember, this is MY OPINION ONLY! This means that you do not have to agree with it. Hell, I don't even expect you to.

I do ask that you keep an open mind with this. If you see a name you don't recognize, look them up on YouTube. I want you to even give me names you would've liked to see on here.

Give me 5 bands/artists you think should've been on here &

Honorable Mention : Chris Rene
- The reason I felt inclined to honorably mention this person is because I honestly believe that he is on his way to becoming one of the best rappers/hop-hop artists ever! Chris Rene became famous with one song. He arrived on the stage of the X-Factor USA season 1 auditions and performed his original song Young Homie. Young Homie puts into words the struggles he's had with substance abuse and how he overcame it so that he could live a better life for his son. Through the competition he got better and better, and in the end, Chris Rene made it to the finals. He may not have won, but he did damn good and proved himself to be The Truth. I implore you to research some of his music, but in the meantime,
here is the clip of his audition on the X-Factor.

Should've been there (granted, I love rap, but I'll leave that off the thread due to the fact that you don't have any haha):

1. Rolling Stones
2. The Doors
3. Bob Marley
4. Johnny Cash
5. Guns 'n Roses

Bands that shouldn't be there:
1. Avril
2. tobyMac
3. Genesis
4. Adele
5. Muse

"Should've been there (granted, I love rap, but I'll leave that off the thread due to the fact that you don't have any haha):"

- tobyMac, Beastie Boys and Lecrae are rap, lol. I do have some. I'm just not that much into the genre as much as rock and all.

"1. Rolling Stones
2. The Doors
3. Bob Marley
4. Johnny Cash
5. Guns 'n Roses"

- There's only like, two or three Stones songs I like (my opinion) so I couldn't put them. I don't like Doors or Bob Marley at all. I don't know enough Johnny Cash songs, only three. And while Guns N Roses are great, I wouldn't consider them top 100 material.

"Bands that shouldn't be there:
1. Avril
2. tobyMac
3. Genesis
4. Adele
5. Muse"

- Interesting choices.

"Put on:
Rage Against The Machine
Pink Floyd
George Strait
Fleetwood Mac
The Temptations"

- Personally, I am not largely into RATM or Pink Floyd. I don't know any George Strait songs by memory, and only barely recognize the name. Fleetwood Mac only has a couple songs I like, and they're only good because Stevie Nicks sings for them. I don't know any Temptations songs, lol. So no clue there.

"Take off:
Lecrae
L'Arc en Ciel
Akeboshi
J. Geils Band
Nena"

- Again, interesting choices.
