Jefferson Region Medical Center, Pine Bluff, Arkansas - Alexis' Hospital Room

Some would think that being in the hospital a patient would have time to be with themselves. That wasn't the case at all for Alexis. Xandor was in the same room with her, cooing and asking her so many questions when she just wanted to relax. A few times she would send Xandor to get something such as ice for her water or something to eat, and then Ocean would arrive. Most of their chat would consist of Ocean saying in some form 'suck up pansy.'

Alexis did have those few hours in which either Xandor was sleeping or the nurse kicked him out so she could be alone. She wasn't sure if that was good or bad cause her mind did tend to go back to that room. The times where she couldn't sleep; she would end up turning on the TV to watch the two ACW shows she had missed. What she saw in the shows was something she did not like. Ocean seemed….more brutal then usual and she knew it wasn't because she was gone. But he wasn't the only one who had a personality change. Xandor's demeanor had changed in his matches, he was angrier and frankly, it scared Alexis. She had watched her father go from being normal to the demonic creature he was now and Xandor was slowly heading down the same path. So she knew when she was released from the hospital, her and Xandor were going to have to have a talk.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Alexis, I don't think you should wrestle this week. Having your left arm broken in two spots, your right shin bone fractured, and not to count all the stitches and bruising you have, I just don't think you should go out to get injured some more," Xandor spoke.
Alexis zipped up her coat and sighed.
"Xandor, I made sure the docs made the cast heavy duty and that it would take a professional bone saw to take it off. That and the pain killers are more than enough to allow me to wrestle. Took Vanessa some assurance but she agreed in the end."
"I just don't think..." Xandor began before Alexis shot him a glare.
"Listen Xandor, wrestling is my life and if I stay in this god forsaken room any more, I might just drive myself up the walls," she replied sternly before leaving the room.
Xandor let out his breath that he held in before following her out of the room.
"Alexis your match this week is against Tori Devine and Judas Dathan. If your match was just against Tori, I might be okay with it but Judas Dathan is going to be there as well. You have a hard enough time against him when your healthy and -."
Alexis turned and placed her hand on his chest, stopping both his talking and his walking.
"Are you saying I am not up to par with Judas? Do you really think some physical pain is going to keep me from doing my best? I thought boyfriends are supposed to be supportive," she replied before turning around.
Xandor caught her arm and spun her back to face him.
"Look, I am just worried about your health, Alexis. I wasn't there to protect you from getting hurt but this time around I can," Xandor spoke softly.
Alexis sighed and caressed his left check with the palm of her hand.
"I know Xandor but you know half the match is psyching yourself up. Couldn't you tell me that I am going to do well and then worry afterwards?"
Xandor sighed but nodded and the two of them left the hospital holding hands.
Hilton Garden Inn - Lafayette, Louisiana
Alexis leaned back on the brown couch as Gabriella sat in the red recliner, eyeing Alexis. When they first arrived, Gabriella was there to greet them in their room that she had fixed up. 'Go get them' and other encouragement signs littered the entire living space. But Lexis did like the flowers and vase Gabriella managed to pull together. Those flowers were from her own home in Oregon, the place she figured Gabe was holding down in her absence.
Now it was just the two girls for she had sent Xandor to go pick up her prescriptions from the nearest pharmacy. Alexis was looking forward to talking with Gabriella. She may be concerned about Alexis' health but that girl knew how to prep her mind.
"You've faced Judas before so you have an idea of his dirty tricks. When the match is over, whoever wins, I suggest high tailing it out. It seems as if SIN can't resist beating up their opponents even after their matches. So my best suggestion against him is to keep your mind working and the eyes in the back of your head open," Gabriella said before adding, "I have a feeling that even though Judas is going to say something about you being injured, he's going to aim for you more so than Tori."
Alexis nodded, "What do you know of this Tori girl? I haven't had to face her but what I've seen she isn't that big of a threat. Almost like a rabbit tossed in between two wolves."
Gabriella smirked, "You would think since she is from the Devine line that something more would appear in her. It may still be lurking under her skin but until that pops out, I think she is more like Lisa. She's all talk and no bite. She claims you won't be in the state of mind to wrestle, figuring that your mind will keep going back to your kidnapping."
Alexis snorted and shook her head, "She really doesn't know me does she? The man who did the torturing to me was someone I knew and had already built up a wall against anything related to him. I don't know who did the snag but my father was the guy who did this."
She motioned to her body but when she looked back up, Xandor had returned. She hadn't told him yet what had happened but that it wasn't Ocean.
"Your father was the one who did this?" he asked once more.
Alexis nodded as Cross put the medicine down.
"You're sure of this?" he asked.
"I know my father, perhaps more then I want to. I know his voice as well as how he inflicts damage. After all, he's been doing this for the majority of my life," she said the last part a bit cold.
"And you are sure Ocean didn't do it?"
Alexis sighed and nodded, "I can hear him from a mile away. It's a sense that tag team partners have."
Xandor sat down next to her as Alexis motioned for Gabriella to leave. Her friend nodded and closed the door behind her.
"Xandor...we need to talk about something," Alexis started.
Xandor looked up from his thoughts and waited for her to continue.
"I was the one who was captured, not you. But yet with my return, I feel like something is holding you as well."
Xandor started to say something but Alexis put her forefinger on his lips.
"No, Xandor, listen to me. I've seen you in your nightmares, how something seems to be eating you up, something evil. I know that because when my father used to come to me in my dreams, that was how I acted. But I watched the two shows I missed and I realized that it isn't someone evil that is hurting you," Alexis paused, "but something within you."
