I'm kiiiiiiiinda looking forward to the modern combat change. The WWII genre, especially the European theatre, is over saturated. Maybe change to Pacific theatre with the Japanese. There were some horrible battles there but people tend to overlook it.

Major gamble by the COD makers if they change. If it is not as popular, what then? Could be a boost for them, or could be their end. We shall see.

Oh and the whole blow off parts of a person's face sounds a bit unnecessary. Spend more time on the gameplay! Wonder if it will have a M rating because that's pretty graphic.

Mick I was thinking the same thing about the Pacific theater. I know many of the battles were naval and aerial, but their were a few important land invasions and such. Perhaps they can go the way of the BF franchise and do a Vietnam game. I'm not sure about the interest that would draw.... Regardless of the time period I'll still pick this game up. :smg:

ya it would be cool if it was in the fights of japan.

Man theres this awsome ww2 movie, all about the attack on one of the islands of japan. Nicholas cage is in it, its called "Windtalkers". Its reallly really good!!!

let me not this is a very very sad movie, like some people said, it has very little postive in it. Tho i did watch this movie, and i was all pumped up (after seeing cage ull see wat i mean) and i join the all weep sever and i owned, tyler u were there!

Meal of Honor went for the pacific theater and that was pretty fun, but realyl challenging. Them japs aint scared of nothin and would just rush you with bayonets. They come out of holes and everythin, scared me a lot of times. I like ww2 theme games. Modern games are all in like cities and its all tactical.

Note that this could be a lie. The source seemed credible but you never really know. Since its this early in the game I wouldn't make any solid judgments yet.
