Actully ppl with so called Roid rage can still control their emotions,so the therory that a OD of roids causing him to snap is false. Also from wat i heard his wife filed for a restraining orders a few months back but then withdrew the request so he might have been a wife beater ,but y would u kill your wife and kids thats beyond me even if roids mad him so called "insane" maybe he was just insane to begin with, and personally im glad that their is one less scum bag left on earth. My therory of wat happend is that he got mad at his wife for some reason and missed a PPV killed her without fully knowing what he was doing then thought his son could never cope with the lose of his parents (and i use that term losey for chris) so killed him. Them when he relized what he done he but bibles by their bodies and hanged himself |

The whole concept of roid rage, is that a person loses control of their emotions, and is in a mind set out of normality, there are some isolated cases when roid rage does not completely take over the individual's body, but in most the individual will think and act differently. |

In my eyes, there is a big possibility that some sort of medication had to do with it. I mean Konan (a former WWE superstar) was on the news and he even said that the wrestler's are on the road year round, no off-season. He mentioned that doctor's prescribe pain killers to everyone, about a million pills in 2 years to everyone or some large figure. When you finish up that, you get more. The doctor's keep prescribing you more because you take so many bumps year round. I think some sort of medication, not exactly sure about what, caused this to happen. I mean Benoit was always loving to his family and he was a very great role model for people, but I think since he made his big return, he has had a lot of matches to take on, I think that called for a lot of medication that might have ticked something. |

Nice guy? This guy wasn't nice... He stole his wife from someone he called a good friend. Very nice. Benoit lived like 20 mins from me. I ran into him quite a good bit. He was a jerk. I never once ran into him when I didn't see him showing his ass to anyone around. |

No, what i was trying to say was that when u take some roids your emotions might get elevated but not out of your direct control So you wont so called "Explode" and in this case kill your family. |

I'm not even going to get in on this argument. Benoit is hopefully serving time in hell if he did indeed kill his family. Roid rage or no, taking the life of innocent children is never ok. |

I agree with Penguin. Roid rage is temporary loss of control. It doesn't last for days. The only people who are playing up the roid rage stuff is the media. From everything I've seen, the investigators are saying yes, he was on steriods, but it didn't cause him to do what he did. All of the steroids he was supposedly prescribed... 10 month supply every 3 or so weeks... that screams to me that he was a roid distributor. If he were to take that much by himself for as long as they said it was happening, he would have already died. There's no doubt in my mind dude was the middle man for others to get them. |

Well I guess Phil Astin III, the doctor that prescribed the pills and such to Chris Benoit also supplied it to the late great Johny Grunge who died I believe in February of 2006. They said his body was found next to 2 empty pill bottles. There are debates on whether or not these 2 deaths are linked together in some way. |
