May 30th 4:30 p.m AfterSchool, counselors room --------- Shin had just finished his shift at the highschool, and the building was finally starting to quiet down as the students were all just about gone for home. Before packing up his things however, he decided to check a few things on his school computer. He was about to close up when he noticed a peculiar message on a public forum he often glanced through. "Hm?..." Topic Title: Invitation? Message: Hey guys, first time poster here. Today the strangest thing happened - has anyone else gotten on of these strange blue invites? It just popped out of the TV when I was reading manga. What are these? Just popped outta the telly, did it? Lot of strange things happening around these boxes, eh Shin? Phantom said. "Hrm...I doubt that this is of some coincidence..." Well then, why don't we ask them more about it? "It would be pointless to talk over a forum like this. No, we need to speak more of this in person." But where? Shin thought for a moment. "Perhaps, somewhere local. I do believe that this individual is a resident of the town...ah, I know." Shin clicked "Reply" on the post, and proceeded to type. I do believe I've been experiencing similar oddities surrounding the television lately. I would rather not discuss them here, however. The jazz bar in Inaba @9p.m., let's talk there. -Anonymous What is it with you and Jazz anyway?! Phantom asked. Shin simply shrugged. It's a wonderful little place. Besides, the new singer they hired there is rather talented. ------------------------------------------------- 9:00 p.m. City Limits ------------------------------------------------- Shin checked his clock as he neared the bar he had indicated in his response. Hmm, I wonder if I was descriptive enough, he wondered, walking inside. |

// M A Y - 3 0 T H - 4 : 3 0 P M "LOL OP, Have you slept enough?" "What drugs have you been taking?" "This guy is crazy." Taish sighed, and leaned back in his desk chair. He was glad that he had decided to do it on an alternative account. It was just as he thought. He must be going crazy at this point. Junko.. this business with the TV... if she was involved then it must be an hallucination. But... why was the envelope still laying on the desk in front of him? He sighed, and started to pull up the wikipedia page on hallucinations. He read it over it again and again, trying to find a suitable answer to explain all of this. An e-mail popped up onto his screen, notifying him of a reply on his thread. He went to close it, but then quickly got a glimpse of the message content in the e-mail pop-up. "I do believe I've been experiencing similar......" Taish's heart jumped. Quickly he switched over to the window that the thread was currently sitting in, and refreshed the page. Sure enough, there was someone who had some idea of what was going on. Message: RE: Invitation? I do believe I've been experiencing similar oddities surrounding the television lately. I would rather not discuss them here, however. The jazz bar in Inaba @ 9PM, let's talk there. -Anonymous It wasn't long before more replies flooded the thread. "Is this some troll?" "LOL, is OP really going to go meet up w/ Anon?" "Nice troll Anon." Well. It could be true. There could really be someone out there who was just luring him out into the open so they could reveal his identity and smear it across the internet. Or it could be genuine. Taish was sick and tired of feeling like this, feeling crazy and paranoid. Yes, he was taking a big risk in going ... but he had to know. He got up out of his chair in a hurry, and looked himself over in the mirror. Suddenly, his head felt like it was about to tear open, and he fell to the floor, clutching his head. Junko forced herself out of his mind, and came tumbling out beside him. "I'm going too!" she insisted. "I'm not taking no for an answer." she glared, eying Taish's look of disapproval. He thought about telling her no momentarily, but decided against it after the deathly hate-filled glare she gave him. He sighed. "Alright, alright...." // M A Y - 3 0 T H - 9 : 0 0 P M "C'mon you scaredy cat, get in there! Junko insisted, trying to push Taish in towards the door of the bar. Taish was hesitant. He was still paranoid about whoever was trying ti meet with him, and if this was still some hug practical joke. Still, to get Junko to just shut up? Fine, he'd do it. Hesitantly, he open the door and stepped in. He was greeted by a tall, slender lady behind the bar with bright pink hair. "Hey, stranger." she said. "Care for a drink?" The man was scruffy, and it became apparent that the close he cam to the more, the more she noticed how bad he smelled. Had he not showered for days? She scrunched her nose, and tried her best to ignore the scruffy sight in front of him. And the girl with him... seemed to be exactly the opposite. She was neat, clean and her outward appearance was bold and confident. She turned to the man first, "So, what can I get you to drink, stranger?" The girl with him giggled a little, and nudged his arm with a shoulder. Aiella ignored this. "U-uh... beer is fine. Any beer." he said, reaching for his wallet. "And uh, you call everyone 'stranger' in here?" he asked, tentatively. Aiella politely smiled back at him, "No, just the only person who isn't a regular here." She started, pouring his drink into a glass. "Just the new guy who just sat down in front of me and ordered a drink." she finished, and placed the glass on the beer mat in front of him. She smiled warmly - flirting ever so slightly. It came with the job - being cheerful and a little bit of a flirt helped to get on friendly terms with the patrons, something she had taken time and effort to get just right. The newcomer merely smiled back at her awkwardly and took a sip of his drink. "So what about you, miss?" she said, turning to the girl sitting beside him. The girls eyes grew large, and she jumped up on her seat, "Really?!" She shrieked at the top of her voice. Aiella turned to look behind her, but the commotion apparently didn't phase anyone. The man beside her looked almost catatonic, however... "Of course." Aiella laughed, "So, what do you want?" "Oh, oh!" the girl started, excitedly "Can I get .. one of those orange and vodka things? Those sound nice!" she beamed. "Never drank before? Alright, coming up." Aie said, grabbing a glass. She looked over at the man again, and he was staring at Aiella with a mixed expression on his face. Did she upset him in some way? What was going on? She mixed the drink together, and placed it in front of the girl. "Thanks!" the girl said, taking a sip. The mans eyes grew even wider, and Aiella grew more suspicious of him. "My name is Junko, and this is my master Taish!" the girl exclaimed. Master....? Edited by Theodore, Jul 29 2013, 02:08 PM.

Shin stepped inside of the jazz bar, and spotted a pair of new visitors to the establishment there. Hmm, is that them? The peculiar pair in question were a scruffy younger gentleman, accompanied by a younger lady with a rather bold aura about her, being served drinks by the new singer, Aiella Osaragi. They stick out like a sore thumb, it must be those two! Let's not jump to conclusions Phantom. Shin replied as he subtly and somehow stealthily made his way to a seat nearby the pair, in order to observe them through their conversation before confronting them. "Oh, oh! Can I get .. one of those orange and vodka things? Those sound nice!" Rather excitable that one, Shin thought. "Never drank before? Alright, coming up." Shin glanced over at the young man from behind his glinting glasses. He had an odd expression on his face...upset? surprised? "Thanks!" the girl said, the young man eyes seemed to widen. Wonder what is bothering him so- "My name is Junko, and this is my master Taish!" ...well, then...that's...intresting. This had to be some kind of joke. This couldn't be happening. ....H-how...? Taish struggled to find the words and Junko talked with the lady behind the bar. He didn't know what to say, he didn't know what to think. For the first time in his life someone acknowledged Junko. He wondered briefly if Junko could even drink - or eat for that matter. He had never seen her do anything like that before. He never thought to ask. He thought she wasn't real But is she real? Is this some elaborate joke? ... Or was it just another hallucination? He couldn't be sure. "My name is Junko, and this is my master Taish!" he heard Junko announce to the whole bar. He cringed slightly, aware that some people in the bar had begun to stare. He took in a deep breath, and prepared his best attempt at being casual. Whatever that was. "Ahaha, stupid!" he laughed out, a little bit too loudly. "Stop joking around so much, would you Junko?" there was an awkward silence for all but a second, and the eyes around him had lost interest and gone back to their conversations. "Idiot!" he hissed at Junko, angrily. "Are you trying to draw attention to yourself?" Junko was primed to slam down Taish's new-found confidence, but the women cut in smoothly. "Actually..." she started. "No-one noticed that at all.... strange..." Taish did a double-take, "W-what? Thank god..." The women shook her head. "No. I'm saying that they didn't notice her." she said, pointedly. She leaned over the bar, and dropped her voice to barely a whisper. "All they reacted to was you." On the seat next to him, Junko was wearing a look of annoyance. He knew how much she didn't like to be shut down. The situation was... becoming a little clearer.. or so he thought. He came here to find out about these strange invitations, and he found someone who could see Junko instead. More and more mysteries just kept popping up here and there... "Hey, what's your name? she asked the women. <Huh, why didn't I think to ask?> he thought to himself. <'Cause you're an idiot.> Junko replied, inside his head. he would have been surprised that she could have done this, if it wasn't for the fact that she did it so often. Just not when other people were around, though... "Aiella," the women supplied, smiling "Nice to meet you. "Likewise!" said Junko, grinning. "Hey, watch this won't you?" said Junko, getting up. Taish would have stopped her, if she hadn't of been so quick. She hopped up onto the stool, and glided across the room - settling on the lap of an elderly man who was reading his paper in the corner. To make matters more annoying, she licked his cheek and then hopped off and walked back. No reaction. Whatsoever. Aiella was silent. After a few moments she simply said, "Junko, are you Taish's Persona? <Persona? What the hell is that?> "Yes!" she replied. Edited by Theodore, Jul 29 2013, 02:08 PM.

"Idoit! Are you trying to draw attention to yourself?" "Actually...No-one noticed that at all.... strange..." ...No One? Shin wondered to himself, still feigning ignorance to the trio's existence in the bar. Through the reflection off some reflective object behind the bar counter, he saw that indeed, no ones attention seemed to be upon the strange girl. "No. I'm saying that they didn't notice her..." Aiella had started, then proceeded to whisper, so Shin unfortunately didn't catch the second part well. "...nly....cted..u.." This is no good! We should say something and make them tell us everything!! Phantom exclaimed. Shin, however, made no move from his position and kept his attention hidden. "Hey, watch this won't you?" said the girl you called herself Junko. Shin, paid close attention to what he could see through watching a reflection, and was both amused and intriqued by what he saw. No reaction what-so-ever...why would that be... "Junko," Shin heard Aiella begin. "Are you Taish's Persona?" "Yes!" Junko answered. Shin was so surprised, he almost failed to hold his charade. A Persona, He thought in awe to himself. Existent without the Dark Hour or the Fog? Could it be that only those with The Potential can see her then? How is it possible that she is visible at all? It would seem there is more to that young Persona User than meets the eye...And what of you, Miss Osaragi? What does a delightful canary such as yourself know of Persona, I wonder... Well this was certainly interesting. Aiella was certain that the fog had cleared after she had defeated the Shadow earlier with Odette, and they certainly weren't inside of the TV either. So, if Junko was Taish's persona, how is it she was able to manifest in front of them right now? And moreover - are the only people who can see Persona's are those who have Persona as well? "P-persona?" Taish finally stuttered out, after Junko's little display. Aiella frowned, and handed Junko her drink. She took it from her as any other person would - and then drank it it one gulp. "Aaahhh~" she started, "Food from this world is so nice..." Aiella turned to Taish, leaving Junko swooning over her little treat. "You don't know what a Persona is, then?" She said, cautiously. Taish sighed, seemingly resigning to defeat. "To be honest I don't know what's going on at all, anymore." He shifted a little - awkwardly, and then took a sip of his beer. "Junko has been here all my life, I don't know anything about Persona? Or whatever it was that you called it. This on top of that stupid invite..." Aiella perked. <Invite...?Could it be?> "Invite?" She started, cutting through Taish's rambling spree. "Royal Blue in color, shot out of the TV?" "How did you...?" "I got one as well. So did my friend, Ren." "Are you the one that called me out here? From the message board?" Aiella frowned, and shook her head. "Not me. I just work here." Taish sighed, and took another sip of his drink. He didn't seem too bothered that he had been stood up. To Aiella, it seemed a little... fishy. For clarification, she asked, "What did he call you out for?" "I mentioned the envelope and the invite, and they told me to meet them here." he said simply. Aiella looked around, seeing nothing but regulars. She mentioned this to Taish, who just shrugged. "Don't you get it?" she said, lowering her voice. "If they haven't stood you up, that means they're in this room right now. And I've no way of telling you which one." "Not all people with this power are good...." added Junko, darkly. "Junko has been here all my life, I don't know anything about Persona? Or whatever it was that you called it. This on top of that stupid invite..." Invite? So it must be the poster from the board. "Invite? Royal Blue in color, shot out of the TV?" "How did you...?" "I got one as well. So did my friend, Ren." Upon hearing this, Phantom let out a ominous laugh of excitement. Did you hear?! Did you?! You MUST have! She said her name, she's seen HER!!! You heard her, right!? Didn't you?! She knows Ren!!! Shin adjusted his glasses, deep in thought now as he considered the situation. I'll admit, "Ren" isn't the most common of names, but this could all still be coincidence... There are no coincidences! Phantom exclaimed rather impatiantly. Perhaps... "Are you the one that called me out here? From the message board?" "Not me. I just work here...What did he call you out for?" If we don't do something, Ren might slip through our fingers again!! Shin tried to make out what Aiella was saying next, but her voice had lowered. Even still, he could detect her suspicion. You are right Phantom. I must acquire more information or I risk losing a lead to Ren. But I can't let on that I am the one who brought that boy here, or they will begin to suspect me. They must continue to believe I know very little about Personas. Therefore, steps must be taken. Shin stood from his subtle seat and walked over to the trio, an idea inspired from the Persona girls antics coming to mind. "Good afternoon to you young man! You're new to this establishment I assume?" Shin greeted in his welcoming, pleasant tone of voice, feigning absolute ignorance to both their conversation and the Persona Girl's existance."In that case, Miss Osaragi could you perhaps share one of your beautiful songs, please? I daresay your heavenly voice is what makes most of the visitors regulars here, myself included." Edited by Theodore, Jul 29 2013, 02:05 PM.

No sooner had she asked, Aielle and Taish were interrupted by one of the regulars to the bar - Shin. Aiella frowned slightly, wondering - where did he come from? She didn't recall him being here tonight. She glanced over at the usual corner he sat in, and saw a few books - no drink. He must of slipped in quietly while she was in the back and never ordered anything. "Good afternoon to you young man! You're new to this establishment I assume?" he said, addressing Taish who nodded in reply. "In that case, Miss Osaragi could you perhaps share one of your beautiful songs, please? I daresay your heavenly voice is what makes most of the visitors regulars here, myself included." Aiella smiled gently, and her eyes met with Taish's. "Y-you sing?" "I'm actually the singer here at the bar, truth be told..." she said, apologetically. "I just get called in time to time to cover the bar staff." "I see...." "Well then, Miss Osaragi?" Shin prompted, with a warm smile on his face. She hesitated for e moment - something didn't seem right. She had a feeling that Shin wasn't the kind of person to talk to someone that he didn't have a interest in, so why the sudden interest in Taish? Everything about him screamed that he was a shut-in, and then being out in the open wasn't exactly his forte.... "Well, the house band isn't in today... but I guess if it's for you Sir, I will oblige." She went into the back and washed her hands and dried then, and them emerged to see Shin and Taish waiting expectantly. She walked out onto the bar floor, and up onto the stage. She sat down on the house piano and took in a deep breath. "Y-you sing?" Taish managed to stutter out. For some reason, he was looking at Aiella in a different light then before and for the first time he actually looked at her as an individual, and not just as some random person. Her skin was lightly tanned, and her bright pink hair was pinned neatly into a ponytail... To Taish, she was very beautiful. Junko tutted, and roller her eyes ay him. "I can't beleive you have the gall to even think such things. she said out loud, crossing her arms. Taish simply ignored her. Admittedly, he didn't care much for a lot of music but what he did like (and listen to on a regular basis) were mostly female-fronted bands or female solo artists. From the way Aiella spoke... how gentle her voice was... he was betting that she had a nice voice. And moreover, he was really eager to hear it. "I'm actually the singer at the bar, truth be told..." she said apologetically, "I just get called in time to time to cover the bar staff." "I see..." his voice trailed off, and he was lost in thought again. If she was hired to sing, she must be good. "Well then, Miss Osaragi?" prompted the man behind him. Taish jumped in his seat a little - he had forgotten that the man was even there to begin with. Moreover - he was uncomfortably close as well. "Well, the house band isn't in today... but I guess if it's for you Sir, I will oblige." she said politely, and went into the back of the bar. She re-emerged not long afterwards, and took a place behind the piano on the stage. "Toki no mukou kaze no machi e..." "My name is Shin." the man supplied suddenly, sitting down next to him. Junko squealed in surprise, and jumped off the stool moments before he sat down. "Why you....!" she scowled at him from behind the bar. "....nee, tsurete itte..." Taish was more concerned about listening to that soft, angelic voice. He was slightly annoyed by the man's intrusion, but paid him attention of out politeness. He was an acquaintance of Aiella, after alll... "Taish." he supplied, simply. ...Shiroi hana no yume...." "I think you and I need to talk." Shin said, pressing on further.
