Character Type: Original (adoptable)

Name: Hitomi Tasogare
Age: 16
Height: 157cm (5'1.8")
Weight: 48kg (105.8 lbs)
Eye Color: Gold
Hair Color: Red

Appearance Image:
Appearance: Hitomi has short, scarlet red hair that will sometimes cause her to stand out in a crowd. However, a detail that makes her stand out from most people in general is that her eyes are of a radiant golden color that almost seem to glow much like the light of a firefly in the morning and evening twilight.

When not in school uniform, she is often seen wearing a lightweight, bright orange, hooded jacket that is seemingly a size big for her with buttons instead of a zipper, with a pink t-shirt under it. She also wears a skirt with a purple plaid design that is blue and white at the bottom that reaches down to her knees, as well as light purple knee high socks and red boots.

Hitomi also seems rather thin and perhaps frail in her appearance. She's not all that strong either, as she would likely likely lose a fight without her Persona, which she has not discovered yet. All things considered, though, Hitomi is usually in healthy condition, as it is very uncommon for her to fall ill to anything so common as a cold. She has no known allergies to speak of either. She does have a sensitive taste palette however, and has a powerful dislike of sour foods.

Personality: Overall, Hitomi has a gentle, cheerful, moral, and sympathetic personality, with an almost angelical air about her.

Once she befriends someone, she will take it upon herself to look after them in any way she can, whether it be protecting one from danger, tending to one who is ill or hurt, or offering moral support to those who seem in need of it.

She may not be one to purposely make enemies, but Hitomi does still retain a strong sense of right and wrong, and is liable to grow upset in the place of who is being harmed physically, mentally, or emotionally, and is willing to place herself in harms way to defend them.

Hitomi can also be rather stubborn at times, for if she puts her mind to something, it is unlikely that she will relent in accomplishing it until she reaches a satisfying result to some degree. This is not to say that she is forceful. For example, if her objective was to drag someone out of their emo corner and have them vent their issues, she would (probably still drag them out of the corner, but) refrain from pressing into sensitive details until they were ready to do so, and instead attempt to have them focus on something significantly more positive and uplifting. Therefore, she is willing to put up with some sort of compromise if there need be.

In addition to being somewhat stubborn, Hitomi is also quite selfless. To be more specific, as she willingly places herself in harms way for someone else's sake, Hitomi will find it impossible to leave someone to fend for themself.

Hitomi also has a knack for picking up on subtle clues as to what a person is thinking no matter how hard they may try to hide it. This being said, it is incredibly difficult to tell a successful lie to her and persuade it as truth.

Weaknesses:
A few weaknesses Hitomi possesses include, for example, aquaphobia, or more specifically, the fear of being in a large, deep body of water. Therefore, it goes without saying, she's not much of a swimmer.

Another such weakness is the fact that she tends to push away her own feelings of sadness, holding back tears and repressing her own troubling thoughts until she reaches her very limit to all of her emotional strain and brakes down into uncontrollable sobs, where in some worst cases, it will take perhaps an hour or so to get it out of her system and at last compose herself.

Persona Name: Pheonix
Arcana: Sun
Elemental Affinity: Agi/Fire
Elemental Weakness: Zio/Electricity
Appearance Image: Falzar: Megaman Battle Network 6
Appearance: Pheonix appears as a rather large bird with armor on its head, center body, and talons. Its wingspan can reach to the ends of an average sized building when fully expanded and is almost as large as a truck.

Fighting Description: Pheonix uses a wide variety of agi skills, but at the same time is equipped with healing abilities such as Diarama and Samarecarm. In battle, Pheonix will typically stay high in the air above the enemy and attack with its long range flame attacks, and then swoop down to attack with its talons, taking back to the sky soon afterward. This Persona has a high amount of mobility while airborne. Electricty, however, can easily bring it to the ground and leave it vulnerable.

When in a critical situation, Pheonix will engulf itself in flames, magnifying the strength of its Agi attacks as well as veiling itself within a destructive barrier that discourages foes from attacking it directly, lest they would be cast aflame. The downside of this tactic however, is that it will fill Hitomi with the painful sensation of being in the center of a burning building, and will eventually hinder her ability to breath until she is incapable of maintaining Pheonix's presence in the battle or risks passing out from asphyxiation.

Method: Evoker

Character History: Hitomi had always lived a rather normal life as a young child. She was always in good health, got along well with other kids, lived happily with her parents, and held an unbreakable admiration of her sister, Ayako, about 9 years older than Hitomi, who had a remarkable skill at sewing and designing clothes.

Hitomi would always plead her older sister to design clothes for her on an almost regular basis, and when not pestering her so, she would always watch and observe her sister when working on them, eager to learn from her. Then one day, Ayako, whom was 19 at the time, offered to teach Hitomi her techniques in clothing design, and the younger sister joyfully accepted the offer. So for the next few months, Ayako patiently began to teach Hitomi how to sew and design simple outfits.

It was a happy life for Hitomi. However, it would only be cruel fate that it would inevitably come to an end.

One day, as relentless rain poured down from the sky, a flood ran through the streets of Inaba. Hitomi and Ayako's parents had been away on a business trip when it had occurred, so it was Ayako's responsibility to look after Hitomi in their temporary absence.

While the two sisters were evacuating to higher ground, they had been left with no choice but to cross a street with a current of water running through that was about ankle deep, and as they were in the process of crossing, the speed of the current suddenly increased, and Hitomi had been knocked off her feet and carried down the currents path as it traveled down a sloped street. Crying out in panic, Hitomi had barely been able to grab hold of the base of a telephone pole as water cascaded against her.

Hearing her sisters cry, Ayako, hurried down the sloped street with the currents as fast as she safely could. By the time she reached Hitomi, the current of the water had increased even faster, and Hitomi had been losing her grip. Ayako swiftly proceeded to grab hold of her sister and lift her onto her back, climbing back up the street with her in tow.

As Ayako had at last carried Hitomi to the edge of the other side steet and set her down, her ankle had fallen through a hole under the flowing water, causing her to fall and brake her own ankle. Meanwhile, a wave of water was crashing toward them both.

In desperation, Hitomi had tried to pull Ayako up with her toward the hill behind them, but didn't have the strength to drag her very far being the youngest of the two by 9 years.

Ayako knew this, and yelled at Hitomi to run up the hilltop to safety. Torn between terror and her sister, Hitomi had finally been cast away by Ayako's commands, too instilled with panic to protest and think clearly, and had scurried up the hill. Only then did she manage to look back down the hill and call out to her older sister as the wave crashed through, washing Ayako away into its watery maw.

This was the last time Hitomi saw her sister, dead or alive. While a rescue team had found Hitomi sitting atop the water surrounded hilltop, staring in shock where Ayako once was, the older sister was never found.

A year had passed since the disaster, the house they had lived in was still intact for the most part, and soon Hitomi and her mother and father were able to live there again. Yet still there was no sign of Ayako. Everyone, including Hitomi's parents, were convinced that she would never come back.

Hitomi, however, has still been incapable to fully move on from this, and in keeping the slightest and most futile hope that Ayako was still alive somewhere, keeps her older sisters belongings as they were, keeping her room tended to for the day that Ayako would come back home.

One day, while Hitomi had been making sure Ayako's room was dusted and clean, she had looked into the closet for the first time noticed a piece of paper crumpled up at the bottom of it. Written on it seemed to be a rough design of a hooded jacket, with a list of materials for it. At once, Hitomi recognized it as an incomplete plan for one of Ayako's clothing designs.

Over the next few days, Hitomi devoted almost all of her time to getting the materials and creating the jacket from the incomplete design, adding only a few things to it herself. At last, when it was finished, it was a orange, light hooded jacket with buttons instead of a zipper.

It would soon become a momento of her sister, and Hitomi would later be seen wearing it herself in order to keep hope that Ayako would return and praise her for how it turned out, even though it had turned out to be her older sisters size.

It is now five years later since the jackets completion as the fog begins to haunt Inaba.

Sample Post: So here I am again.

Hitomi sat at the top of a hill overlooking a street near the lake. An evening breeze flowing through her scarlet hair. She came to this spot time and time again on days when school had let out for the day and the weather was clear, but couldn't quite fathom why. One would think this hilltop in particular would be one of the last places that she would come to be with her thoughts.

After all, this was the last place she saw her. For Hitomi, this hill held so much fear, so much grief, so much guilt in the memories it sparked.

". . .The breeze is nice though." Hitomi muttered softly to herself.

Hitomi leaned back so as to lay herself onto the soft grass, turning her golden eyes up toward the clouds, the sun veiled behind them, giving them a soft white radiance.

It wasn't so bad a spot, she guessed. The sound of wind, the warm light of the sun, the soft feel of the grass. Hitomi loved living in the town of Inaba. It was beautiful to look at, with fresh air to breath in, more or less filled with nice and interesting people, and there was something about being just a little bit away from the noise of a city filled with bustling businesses, trains, and construction workers that seemed to bring her mind at ease.

Hitomi was quietly sewing, her hands worked skillfully. She was lost in memories of her older sister. Hitomi had a normal day, but after school, it had started to rain. So Hitomi was trapped at home. She refused to go out in the rain unless it was an utter emergency. Today, there wasn't an emergency.

A crack of thunder made Hitomi jump in her seat. She hated being alone during these storms. No matter what she tired to do, Hitomi was always brought back to the day Ayako was washed away.

Hitomi shook her head, trying to clear it. She wouldn't cry. Not today. She was stronger now. No matter what she wouldn't cry.

Hitomi forced her self to pay attention to the stitches before her. She had to remove several because of her jump when the thunder had rumbled. But it was an easy fix. This was good. It was keeping her mind off of the storm outside. Her phone chirped. Hitomi picked it up. It was a text from her mother, wondering if she was okay. Hitomi smiled. Mom was always worrying about her during storms. Hitomi sent a quick reply saying she was fine.

Hitomi set her phone aside, and wrapped her arms around her self. She was wearing her jacket, she always wore it during storms. It was her armor against the pain and the fear she had.

It was her reminder of Ayako.

Another peel of thunder rolled though her. This time she didn't jump. Hitomi was expecting it now. If anything, it was a relief. She hadn't realized she was holding in her breath. Hitomi let it out a hissing breath. A tear rolled down her face. Hitomi set aside her work. She began breathing slowly refusing to surrender to her memories. Another thunderclap broke Hitomi's resolve. She began to sob quietly.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't strong enough, Ayako." Hitomi whispered though her sobs.
