Spoiler: click to toggle A small, somewhat cramped apartment, usually wreaking of tobacco smoke and cloves, that possesses basic amenities. The walls are a rather drab beige color, with carpeting a shade of blue that could have only been thought a good color by a stoner in the 80s. The entryway at the south most wall goes straight into the living room, which is about the size of a postage stamp, having a couch on the west wall, a TV on the east wall and a window to the North. Connected to the television is a Gamestation 3 made by Phony alongside a small shelf of various games, mostly tactical RPGs and stealth games. Directly to the right of the entrance is a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge usually populated by little more than a few cans of energy drinks, perhaps some cake, and assorted bottles of dessert topping. Directly next to the mini-fridge is a much more populated freezer, containing a disturbing amount of ice cream in various flavors. Hanging over a stove directly to the left of the fridge and freezer are a few pans which look worn from basically being used over and over and washed without replacement. To the left of the stove is a microwave. Directly across from the stove is a kitchen sink with two basins, one of which is constantly filled with dirty dishes that Yukimaru has yet to clean. About half of his dishes are always clean and set next to the sink, and about half are always in the sink, dirty. Occasionally, one might find a bottle of alcohol or two, not entirely obtained on the up-and-up after Yukimaru's had a rather difficult day. Sharing the wall with the TV are two doors. One leading to his room and one leading to the bathroom. The bathroom is simple. A stainless steel basin on a marble counter right next to a toilet and right across from a shower impressed into the wall. The shower is only a shower, no bath included and has a sliding, frosted glass door. The tiles in the room, all of them, match the same off kilter shade of blue of the carpeting. The marble counter containing the sink usually has various items strewn across it, including floss, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a plastic cup. His bedroom is surprisingly neat given his usual attitude and the constant state of his kitchen sink. Everything is usually put away somewhat neatly, his bookshelf (usually populated with manga and magazines of questionable content) is always in decent order and usually lovingly organized by author. Directly next to the low, queen sized bed, is what is quite possibly the only overtly messy portion of the entire room. His work desk is horribly organized, given his general lack of interest in school beyond making sure he passes exams and passes classes (and not caring by how much). It can barely be called a work desk given all the "work" is shoved off in the corner while the desk is mostly taken up by a computer, mostly used for web browsing and a few visual novels (of similar questionable content to his magazine and manga collection). There's also some rather unflattering doodles of various teachers on pages that should be notes.

Shin lives in a house in the residential district shaped like any typical house you might see in a town. Relatively small, 4 white main walls, rectangular in size, a gap in the corner of one of the walls where the front door sits, and a brown tiled triangular shaped roof. To the left of the house is a driveway for Shin's car. The house has two main floors and a basement. 1st floor: You walk in the front door, into a coat room, there's a mat at the door to wipe your shoes and a space on the left leading to the rest of the house to lay them on a plastic tray sitting on a wood floor, as well as a hat and coat rack in the far right corner of this space. Walking to the right of the entrance, past the shoe tray, the floor elevates a couple inches onto a tan carpet floor, where you now stand in a living room. Facing in the direction from which you walked into the room from the coat room, to the right is a set of three window panels all beside each other, looking out at the front yard. On the left of the room, placed on a wooden entertainment center filled with several western based movies, rests a large box-shaped TV with cable and DVR. Across from and angled to partially face the entertainment center spreading into the center of the living room is a rocking leather cushioned recliner with a wooden rocking char on it's left and a beige brown two-seat sofa on the recliners right, a coffee table bordering each of their two sides, a small platform of a shelf under the table top holding a couple anecdote books or magazines each, and all of them supplied with a pair coasters for drinks. If you were facing the entertainment center and looked to the right, in the far corner you would see a red wooden staircase leading upstairs. Beside the staircase, you would see the opening to the kitchen. The kitchen is small and simple. Standing from its entrance from the living room, you would find a meal table made of wood seating up to four persons in the center, a sliding glass door on the right leading to an outside patio with a round plastic table with a set of 3 matching plastic white chairs surrounding it, a few extra stacked up beside the sliding glass door. Looking to the left corner from the entrance to the kitchen you would see a sink with bottom drawers filled with cleaning materials and a dishwasher against the wall in front of you, and on the left wall adjacent of it are cabinets for pots, pans, and other various dishes and pantry for caned foods and such. Beside it, further along the wall is a refrigerator with a freezer at the top. And Beside the refrigerator, you would see a door leading to another stair case directly below the first staircase, this one. leading to the basement. The First floor of the house is kept as clean and tidy as a doctors office, as every once in a while, Shin invites his co-workers there for casual meetings or psychiatric patients there to check up on their therapy. It emanates a pleasant, welcoming feeling to all who visit. 2nd Floor: The second floor is Shins personal space in his house. Walking up the staircase, you come to an L shaped hallway starting from the top of the stairway. The first room you see is right in front of you, a bathroom with a sink with cupboards both below it and behind the mirror-plated door above the sink, window, toilet, bathtub, curtain, shower head. Nothing of any particular interest there, really. It's a bathroom, quit playing around in here, it's immature. Still standing at the top of the stairs, there's a small window to your left looking out behind the house, where you can see several other houses beside this one. You walk to the right from the top of the stairway upon a white carpet until you reach another set of windows looking out at the front of the house. You take another right to walk alongside these window in the hallway until you reach the door to Shin's room. Opening the door, you walk into the first part of Shin's room, the Study. From he doorway, you can see a work-desk in front of you surrounded by several metal cabinets holding numerous papers of...things you can't read because they're locked, beside a window on the left, looking out at the front of the house. To your right while still standing in the doorway to the room, you'll see the second half of this room which holds a dresser and closet in the back corner along wall immediately adjacent from you. In the farthest corner across from you is a box-spring mattress with a plaid black, white, and brown bedcover draped over it. Like the First floor, the second is very clean, but obviously not inviting many guests as it is significantly smaller. All and all though, it's a normal house, nothing suspicious here, right? We should go. You have more important things to do after all and- what's that? The basement? Whatever do you want a tour THERE for? . . .Avoiding? I'm not avoiding anything...it's..just boring, you would be bored...I'm being suspicious? . . .Well, alright...if you insist. Shall we then? Basement Floor: Back to that door in the kitchen, the one directly underneath the stairs going up? Usually, you can't go in here, because it's locked, but lucky for you, you just happen to have the key to this door. Happy day, eh? You open the basement door using the key you found under the TV on the living room's entertainment center and look down the dark stairway. You flip up the light switch on the right hand wall to illuminate your way before you take hold of the stained iron banister and carefully make your way down the creaky steps. Once you reach the bottom of the steps, you are met with an L shaped hallway that seems to be a mirror image of the hallway you saw on the 2nd Floor. Only instead of a bathroom directly in front of you, you see a small, door-less room with a radiator, and a washer and dryer for laundry, the floors and walls of that room and the hallway are cold hard concrete, very different from the warm carpet upstairs. In fact, this entire area is rather chilly, why don't we head back?...No?...All right, then. Just as you did the L shaped hallway on the 2nd Floor, you turn and walk down the windowless path, ventilation pipes coated in dust looming above you. Just as you found the door to Shin's room upstairs, here you find the door leading to another room. Clearly, the layout in the Basement is set up to be a reversed version of the layout of the 2nd floor. But if the room upstairs was Shin's room, where does THIS door lead? Just storage. cardboard boxs and various crap. Y'know, the things you switch back and forth during the change to Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, you know the drill. Come on then, let's head back upstairs, I'll put on a nice hot pot of tea and- ...what?...You don't believe me? You think there's something else in there? Y'know it's really rude to poke around someone's house like this. ...You aren't going to let up on this are you? . . .fine...Go ahead...Open the door, and find whatever it is you're looking for. You open the door with a creak, step into the doorway, and flip up the light switch. A second later, the lights flicker on. Much unlike the rest of the house, this room reeks of medical alcohol. Directly in front of you, in place of a work desk like you saw in the Study, there is instead a table with a sink built into it, the cabinets above and below it, when you open them, are filled with medical supplies and tools that you'd find in a hospital, including surgical tools. In the center of the room on your left, you see a white padded gurney white black straps with metal handles on either side that appears to have been recently wiped clean. A set of handcuffs hang from each of the corners of gurney handles. It seems as if whoever placed them there really wanted to keep someone bound to the table. In the reversed place of where the closet was upstairs, in one of the corners of the room is a glass cabinet containing rows questionable liquids in syringes labeled "Kirijo 1999." What are these, you wonder, and why are they here? Despite the medical gear of a hospital, the arrangement of the gurney and those strange syringes give off the feeling that there is nothing but ill and malevolent intent in this room. And lastly, in the very corner of this ominous room, sits a VERY large flatscreen monitor. You daresay that if possible, it was wide enough for you to walk straight through...of all things...what is THIS thing doing in here? You approach the large screen to get a closer look, raising your hand to the screen to touch it, when suddenly, all the lights go out, blinding you. Before you can shout out in surprise and turn around however, you feel someone push hard at your back, forcing you toward the screen. You expect your skull to be smashed into the monitor, but instead you feel as if you've broken through the surface of a veil of water that yields from your touch, causing you to fall through it, and fall, and fall, and fall. "I tried to deter you, didn't I? It's unfortunate, but I'm afraid you've left me no other choice than to include you in my next experiment." You hit the ground hard, but unbroken. Sitting up, you find yourself surrounded by a thick fog. All is quiet. Is there no one here? Standing up however, you here the shattering of glass, and turning around, you come face to face with a creature that stands several feet taller than you. It's thin, spectral frame seems to resemble a human, but there is something very inhuman about its silhouettes impossibly thin proportions, the black, smog-like aura emanating from it as if threatening to envelop you along with it, and it's face as it sneers down at you with one glowing yellow left eye, and a wide, bloody red crescent moon smile. "Leaving so soon? Why, but we're going to have so much together, you and I." [BAD END:"Welcome to my humble abode"] Edited by Pharos, Aug 3 2013, 11:26 AM.
