Anju clasped her hands together and rubbed them together as though she were being just a bit too devious today. Oh yes, how terrible she was. She had devised a crafty little plan; Operation: Family Bonding Trap. She pumped her fist then. This had better work, or else she would explode. The teen girl nodded her head in determination, as she fixed her hair in the mirror. She had invited her parents to meet her for some shopping time, just as soon as their training was over and done with for the day. She fastened the pearly white hair clips she'd gotten from her very first time 'Shopping' in the past. Content with where they were, she dusted her hands off onto her dark colored skirt, dressed in her brand new uniform. Although this time, she was ditching her signature hat in order to try something new.

She even threw a few bracelets on as well. She didn't think that there would be any reason not to wear only the best. Satisfied with her appearance, she grabbed her bag and left, sending off a text to her parents to let them know when to meet her, and where. However, the teen left out one important detail. She had invited someone else to join them for the day as well. Someone her mother had been dying to see for a while now. She snickered softly to herself, proud of how she was able to sound at least similar enough to her mother through words. She had deviously addressed a note to her brother, Goten, in the guise of their mother. She remembered how she penned her mother's words both passionately and sternly. She detailed just how much she "missed" her "sweet, darling baby boy" and how, absolutely, and for sure, there would be someone else he'd be "dying" to meet. She also was sure to list, in detail, just how disappointed their mother would be in him if he decided not to show.

The teen girl had a skip in her step as she went about business as usual for her day. She was going to do some shopping at the mall, mainly for things to decorate her room, and entertain her, and once she was done, she would meet with her parents, and hopefully, her brother as well, for lunch at the food court in Gatz Haven Mall. If things worked out in Anju's favor, then everyone would be pleasantly surprised for a few brief moments, her father would behave himself, and she could finally meet her older brother. She let out a girlish giggle once more, as she entered a few different stores, time passing by quite quickly. Once she was done, she only had a half hour until she had to meet them, as she immediately picked out a table. She knew her parents would be the first to find her for sure. "Guess I'll just pass the time with my phone..." She mused, as she had some time to waste. She set her bags under the table, right under her legs, and began to mess around on her phone.

Recently, Goten had received a message from his mother, telling him how much she loved him and missed him and how she was dying to see him. She had made it sound as if there would be some kind of awful consequence for not showing up, stating that she would be extremely disappointed in him. She had mentioned it more than once. It seemed out of the ordinary, but Goten let it slide.

Upon reading the message, Goten knew that he had to go. There was nothing he cared more about in the entire universe than his family, especially his mother. From being taken care of solely by her as an infant, to training with her as a young child, he felt like he had to repay her in some way. Chichi had given him a way to do just that, by spending time with his wonderful mother. Disappearing for months on end must have devastated her, ruined her emotionally, more than Goten could have known. But it was now in his hands to set the record straight.

The downside to the entire meeting was the fact that Gatz was likely going to be there. When wasn't he there? The android seemed to never leave Chichi, often times being too overprotective in Goten's eyes. There were things that Goten and Gatz disagreed on. Which was most things. The two would butt heads at every little thing, it seemed as if they were trying to see who could be more stubborn and cause more problems.

Goten strolled through Gatz' mall, popping in and out of shops. He was only at the mall for one reason, and that reason was to see his mother. The teen was in his street clothes, a t-shirt with some jeans. He had almost dressed up for the occasion but he figured that since Gatz' would be there, he wouldn't bother. It was almost time for lunch. Deciding to be early, Goten made his way over to the food court.

They had picked out a table to sit at but currently, there was some girl at the table. Seeing as he had some free time, Goten tried to make a quick move. He slid in the seat across from her. "Hey pretty lady, how are you?" She continued to stare at her phone, not acknowledging him yet. "Say.. right now, I need this table. But later on, maybe me, you, couple o' candles, a movie, some popcorn... You get the picture." The teen thought he was being slick but in reality, he was hitting on his half-sister.

Gatz grumbled when he received a text message from his daughter who wanted to meet him inside his mall. He led Chichi through the front doors and was greeted with the fresh scent of trash that usually entered into his mall. It was mid afternoon which meant the mall was as crowded as ever. He rarely ventured into the mall because of how boring it could be. In most cases, his wife and daughter wanted to glance around the items. He had better shit to do.

"I don't see why Anju has to invite us to the mall. I hate being here." The android terror was dressed in his casual outfit. He had on a pair of blue jeans and a black hoodie. Since he didn't see he mall as anything important, he didn't want to dress like he owned the place even if he did. He did, however, shove or bump shoulders with anyone who got in his way.

Chi-chi walked alongside Gatz with a smile upon her face because every time she entered into the mall Gatz had built it took her breath way. It was glorious both inside and outside. Unfortunately, her husband did not see the mall as anything other then a place where she shopped and got her stress relieved. Her slender arm rubbed against her husband's. She too was dressed more casual with a white pair of dress pants and a pink dress shirt. Her hair was left untied and in its most natural state.

"Oh lighten up Gatz. She just wants us to have some family time. There is nothing wrong with that" She wondered what happened to Goten the last time they met. Ignoring how Gatz was bumping into random strangers, she let her sadness show a bit because she realized the family reunion would not include all of her family like she would have hoped for. Her sons Gohan and Goten were not going to be there or so she thought.

"Lighten up ey? You look like you're about to cry and I don't like it." Gatz turned his attention to his wife. He saw the expression on her face. He sensed her feelings too. She was upset which made him feel on edge.

"You got to stop thinking about those other brats of yours. They'll show up or else I'll grab them by the back of their necks and bring them to you." He suggested with seriousness. In the distance, he then saw Goten who was with his daughter. He knew that the teen was there. He sensed his bratty ass the moment he walked in. Surprisingly, his wife hadn't sensed him first. It was probably because she was thinking he was long gone still. What kind of son didn't talk to his mom for months? He didn't have a mom and if he did, he didn't remember her. Nevertheless, for someone who said they loved their mother, it was complete bullshit. It didn't matter though because Chi had him. He didn't care for soft emotions though and shrugged them away.

Chichi was caught off guard by Gatz sensing her sadness. She tried not to show it. Sighing to herself, he was right. She had to avoid being sad for Anju's sake. The three of them would enjoy the day together at the mall even if she wished Gohan and Goten were there. She had yet to notice that Goten was indeed in the mall and standing right next to her daughter.

Gatz was the first to reach Goten and Anju with Chichi behind him.

"I hope your stupid ass isn't giving my offspring any bad ideas freak. Your sister is off limits." He said to Goten with casual, blunt, and yet serious tone.

Chichi overheard Gatz's rude comments directed at who knows what. It was typical of Gatz to insult someone before he got to know them. She thought her daughter may be talking to a delinquent by how Gatz confronted the person.

"Gatz is Anju talking to a boy? I told her she isn't allowed to date yet not until she studies more. I hope she is talking to a nice boy." She stepped the side and saw that she was indeed talking to a boy, but it was her son. A smile framed on her face when she saw that it was Goten.

"Goten! You're here!" She said in excitement. With glee, the joyous mother grabbed her son and hugged him.

The teen had noticed footsteps closing in on her, but her focus was purely on her smart phone. Of which, she was in an intense sort of puzzle game that required her full attention. The seat across from her was pulled out, and eventually sat in, which prompted Anju's eyes to raise from her phone briefly to look at the person, who complimented her on her beauty. She glanced back down at her phone then when his compliment went south right quick with the idea of getting her together for a date. "Gonna have to rain check on a date, sweetie. Besides, said date doesn't sound like my style anyway...." She trailed off with the arrivial of her parents, as she waved them over. "Mom! Dad!" She cheered then, completely oblivious to her own half brother trying to pick her up. "You made it! Awesome!!"

Her father had reached them first, and she gave him a sheepish grin then. "Dad...go easy on him. It's not like I even had the chance to say anything..." She explained, giving a soft laugh as the teens' mother also came by with a similar response. "Only the nicest Mom." She assured her, once their mother realized it was her second child and immediately grabbed him in a bear hug, the bright haired teen giggled to herself. She had been successful. She leaned back in her seat slightly, feeling very accomplished. Not only had she bought a few things for herself and her mother, and even a new hoodie for her father. She had brought her family together. The only person missing now was Gohan, but at the very least, she had brought her mother one out of the two babies she had who she missed so desperately. Anju turned her gaze up to her father then. "So, which one of us is gathering up orders? And what are we going for here? I'm up for chinese~~~" The teen tried to organize their lunch orders and who was getting what so she could get that rolling for them all. "And Momma I got you some things! It's the bag on the right."

Goten clicked his tongue at the girl's remark, annoyed that he would be rejected so easily. "Doesn't sound like your style.. yeah, right. I know you want me, girl." He said under his breath. Immediately after, the girl shouted out to her parents, which had Goten almost running for his life. Nothing was worse than being around the parents of a girl he was trying to get with. Shortly after that, he heard a familiar voice call out. It was one that made his spine shiver, one that made his neck turn the other way. It was the android that was with his mother, Gatz.

It was clear now that Goten had made an awful mistake. Either the girl was beyond confused and Gatz was just messing with him, or he had tried to just hit on his sister. Chichi and the girl both backed him up, telling the android to go easy on him. His mother then stepped out from behind Gatz, seeing her son. "You're here!" She exclaimed in excitement, running at him. She wrapped her arms around him hugging him tightly. "Lungs.. closing.. losing air..." Goten joked, hugging his mother back. "You don't have to hug me so hard, mom. You had to know I was still alive. Not like anyone could take me down anyways."

Getting back to the task at hand, which was the fact that he had supposedly hit on his sister, he spoke again. "You're joking, right?" Goten nervously chuckled, stumbling over his next few words. "S-she can't be my s-sister. She has red hair. And she doesn't even look like you, mom!" Goten's last sentence was almost one in protest, as if he didn't want another sibling. The truth was, he always wished he could be an older brother. "If anything, she's adopted, right? ... Right?" The teen was harsh and held nothing back as he questioned the possibility of a sister.

"I do have to hug you tight son. I haven't seen you in months." She said with a fondness for her boy. The family reunion turned out to be better than she expected. After she hugged her son who said he couldn't breathe, her husband Gatz spilled the beans about Anju being their daughter. She sighed when Goten found out in the most blunt of ways.

"Gatz, I thought we discussed this. We were going to tell Goten at a nice dinner." She shook her head because she did not know how Anju reacted to the thought of having a brother like Goten. According to Anju, from the future, she never had Goten, therefore, it might have been a shocker to her that she had two brothers. To ease herself, she sat herself on a chair and next to Anju.

Gatz had his hands in his jean pockets. He sat next to his wife and pulled in the chair. He wasn't too happy about the unexpected family get together. He thought it would be Anju and himself, but now there was another teen brat he had to put up with. After hearing his wife complaint, he responded to her with a collected comment.

"They were bound to find out anyway. I just sped up the inevitable." He glared at the waiter that left the menus on the table. Taking a hold of one, he began to look through it while they three of them caught up on things. Then he overheard Anju and Goten's remarks. Anju told him not to go so hard. He'd never admit that he was an overprotective asshole when it came to what was his. Anju told him to go easy while Goten mentioned that Anju looked nothing like her mother.

"The fuck you know? I am a fucking man of course she is my offspring." He gazed at Goten like he was stupid. Anju had red hair because she was the product of power and beauty. There were times he wondered too why she came out with red hair. He also wondered if Goten knew where babies came from. His clown of a father probably still didn't fucking know. Looking at Anju, he took in the red hair. It was probably because he put her in the trash a couple of times or because whatever he did to Chichi the night of her conception was....better left not thought of. Smirking at the thought, he shook it off when Chichi bumped his shoulder.

Chichi bumped Gatz's shoulder to keep him from getting too hasty. She wanted a friend family get together instead of one that would end up in a fight. Politely, she grabbed the menu and began to look through it herself. She thanked the waiter, and then proceeded to answer Goten's question.

"She is our daughter. I do think she looks like me. We have the same eyes, hair, and she has that bad habit of cursing like her father." She tried to lighten the mood. She was not fond of her daughter's fowl language, and she could definitely do without it. However, she was her father's daughter.

"Just order whatever the hell you want." He placed his wallet on the table because it wasn't like whatever they bought for lunch would ruin his incredible credit.

Chichi smiled at Gatz.

"Thank you." As she thanked Gatz, she then looked at her daughter who said she bought her a couple of things.

"You did Anju?" She squealed in excitement.

"Will you show me?" She said in delight.

Gatz was not interested in the girly talk. He looked over at Goten.

"Has your scrawny ass been training? I bet my daughter would kick your face in." He said arrogantly. It was his attempt to bond with the kid.

Anju laughed softly at her mother bringing her older brother in for a huge, and possibly spine crushing embrace. She sat back instead and placed her phone delicately onto the table infront of her, grabbing the menu and looking over her options, requesting a glass of iced tea for now as she mulled over her choices. She kept to herself as her brother seemed less then enthusiastic on the discovery of having her as his sister when just before their mother and her father had shown up, he'd been trying to shoo her from the table and swoon her all in the same go. "To be fair, at least I'm not 5 years old again, dragging you off for a tea party." She gave a devious grin. "As for my hair...I think that's from a certain someone...." She trailed off, shooting a glare towards her old man. "Keeps throwing me head first into trash cans." Her eyes went back to the menu, until her mother asked for her to show the things she bought for her.

The teen girl closed her menu and nodded, pulling out the bag as her ears picked up her father bragging about her strength in combat. For now, the teenager wanted to just try and enjoy being a teenager, and not have to really spar against her brother. She instead moved her seat closer to her mother, and showed off the pretty sundress she bought her mother, as well as the shoes, and the pretty jewelry she bought just for their mother. "I'm pretty sure it should all fit. I just thought I'd get you a little something something, since I did kinda...call out of the blue and all." She smiled, handing over all of the trinkets to her mother. "I just thought we should all get together, and get along, for a day." She insisted then, as she went back to the menu, trying to decipher what her stomach was craving most.

Chichi talked things over with Gatz, making it seem more and more like the red headed child could be hers. Goten shook his head, shivering at the thought. They have to be joking. It's a joke... I know it is. He tried to reassure himself in his head in any way that he could. Nothing would work. A waiter came by and dropped off some menus. Normally, Goten would be scanning the entire thing, looking for what his next "target" would be. But in this specific instance, his eyes were completely locked on the trio of Gatz, Chichi, and the red head.

Upon mentioning her hair color, Gatz, and the air around them (or so it seemed), became tense. He barked at Goten, using profanity to get his point across. A slight smirk came upon the teen's face, as he let out a scoff. He refused to get into another fight with his mother's boyfriend. The girl now spoke up, claiming that her android father had given her the red hair. Goten studied over her once again. She did have some features similar to himself and his mother. But he continued to refute the possibility in his head.

The half-Saiyan moved his hand for the menu, about to pick it up, until his mother began to talk. He stopped dead in his tracks. Shortly after she was done talking, Goten mumbled the same words she had said out loud to himself, trying to process it. If he was a computer, there was surely an error. "She is your daughter.. You think she looks like you..?" His voice faded off. His entire world was spinning, and nothing could stop it. Goten's eyes shifted back and forth between the two females, hoping that he could find something just in there physical appearance that would set them apart. He was shook back into place as he heard a loud thud.

Gatz had rudely slammed his wallet on the table, telling them to order whatever they want. Doing his best to distract himself, he buried his head in the menu. However, the thoughts that came with possibly having a sister were inevitable. He had finally accepted it and he somehow found himself okay with it. The idea that his mother had gotten down and dirty with his least favorite android irked him to the extreme, and he felt like he needed to take a shower.

The two girls continued to chit chat about the present, while Goten continued to attempt to block them, and the rest of the world out.

"I might be your dad Anju, but I ain't letting you pull me anywhere near that tea party crap. You can do that on your own damn time." Gatz leaned back on the chair with his legs apart like he owned the place. His sights were on his two girls that were chatting it up. He was definitely the most dominant at the table. Keeping his gaze on them, he sensed Goten's distressed nerves. It was likely the kid was taking in the idea that Anju was his sister and that officially made the Android Terror his step father. He rested his hands behind his head like there was not a care in the world.

"Oh Anju these are amazing!" She giggled in delight at the trinkets that her daughter purchased. There were pieces of clothing and jewelry. Her arms wrapped around Anju's shoulders to give her a hug. As she hugged her daughter, she pressed her cheek into her's. They appeared to be like best friends rather than mother and daughter.

"It's just like a daughter to remember her mother. Isn't she great Gatz?" She teased with a giggle that followed. Her smile was infectious.

"Isn't she wonderful Goten? Your sister is amazing." She took the bag of trinkets. While Gatz ordered for the both of them, she took the time to admire what her daughter purchased for her. Since she lived in a house with boys her whole life, it was nice to have another girl to chat with. Her daughter had the female touch that the Ox Princess was not accustomed to receiving. She had the daughter she always wanted.

"Yeah..great." Gatz grew a bit jealous at all the attention given to Anju. He should not have had this reaction since they were both his. It was a typical reaction from a father who just realized he was one and that the mother's attention would no doubt go onto her children. He shrugged it off, and then looked at the menu. He thought to himself on how he could best Anju with the gifts. He prided himself at being the best in everything.

{You trying to make me look bad Anju? Shit, now I got to one up her with some kind of present. Just like my offspring to challenge me.} His attention turned to Goten.

{This kid I don't got to worry about. He ain't got shit.} He thought to himself and pondered how he could best Anju. In the meantime, he needed to make people uncomfortable. Smirking at Goten, he wanted to make this situation as uncomfortable as possible because he might as well make the lunch interesting. He sensed and smelled the distress in Goten. He was a punk brat that needed some lessons learned.

"So Anju when is your favorite holiday?" He had a hidden agenda behind this topic opener. Chichi was too distracted by the presents to notice Gatz's smirk. She was the only one who would have read him like an open book.

Anju held back a laugh then as her father assured her that despite the fact that he was indeed her father, he would never allow his daughter to tug him anywhere near the kids table for tea parties. She hadn't meant for the comment to be aimed at him, but she grinned all the same. After all, neither of them knew exactly what the other would do. Especially given the fact that she was hell bent on changing things for the better. Of course, it was more the thought of him actually sitting down to a tea party, dressed appropriately in a princess dress complete with tiara, with a younger, smaller, and bossier version of her, was an extremely funny thing to the teen. Of course, he wouldn't be the only guest to such an elaborate set up. Chances were, her mentor too, would have his own fair share of playing Princess with her. But it was unlikely that the Toughest in the universe could get away with wearing a princess dress. If Anju had it her way, she would likely play such a silly thing out with her mother more so then her father, or her mentor.
Her mother then pulled her into an excited embrace, and her eyes darted to her brother, still unable to process the sequence of events and information that had been shoved into his face. She would've rolled her eyes, but currently, she was too busy hugging her mother to even want to. She embraced her mother back with a delighted smile. "Only the best for you mom!" She assured her, as she pulled away then, her mother showering her with praise. To the teen, the act of shopping for her mother was simply a small gesture that really didn't require thanks. She had been so desperate in wanting to both please, and in some cases, win her mother's affections over, that such acts of kindness seemed to just come naturally. Having not seen her mother before the nightmare that was her timeline, except of course in damaged black and white photographs of her, she wanted to be sure that her mother knew how much she loved her. And in turn, be given that same love back. She rubbed the back of her head then and gave a sheepish grin. Even though her ego was enjoying all of the praise, the teen tried to be as humble as possible.

It was then that the waiter returned with her iced tea, and she happily accepted it with a thanks. She sent him away for now, politely, as she grabbed the straw that came with her glass, freeing it from it's paper prison and sticking it into her glass. Her lips then encased the tip of the straw, and she sucked deeply at the liquid goodness. Savoring the flavor as her eyes glanced over to her brother. He still was in a deep state of shock, and her father was also looking him over. Although not for the same reasons. She continued to suck until her thrist was quenched, as her lips loosened around the tip. Her father had asked her something about her favorite holiday, which prompted her to give him a quizzical look. A delicate eyebrow raised. This was something she had to really think about. Sure, the remains of her family did sometimes try to do things on said holidays when they occured. But her memories were quite foggy. And this was in part, due to the fact that the practice of trying to celebrate things like Christmas, or Halloween, or even Easter were all stopped once she had started her training. She swallowed hard as she thought. "I....guess if I had to pick a holiday, or a season for that matter, it'd have to be Valentines day. Spring, for season of course. Valentines isn't really a holiday I guess....but it's a day for free chocolate, so who cares?" She answered in a dead pan tone before going right back to sucking long on her straw, huming in delight as the liquid filled her mouth and flowed down her throat. Her eyes then rested on her mother's offspring before her, Goten. "So uh, ground control to Goten, you ready to order yet?" She asked then.
