Goten was still deep in thought, not picking his head up from the menu. He heard his family's voices, but he chose to ignore them. It was just like him to act out, being that he had become a bit temperamental in his teenage years. The whole android step dad and having a half sister didn't help with any of that. He pouted, continuing to read over the menu. I'll show him.. I'll buy everything on this menu. I'll make him so broke, he won't be able to afford anything nice and he'll never get near having a kid again.. The half-Saiyan's thoughts were devious, the kind of stuff that was built from darkness. Still, they were childish enough that they remained harmless. He now heard the soft voice of his half sister speaking directly to him, and he began to tune in. She asked if he was ready to order, to which he nodded and tossed the menu back on the table. "All of that. It's on you, right Gatz?" He smirked at the android. Deciding that he had to make time to learn about his new sibling, he turned his attention back to her. "So... my mom and your dad hooked up.. just a couple years after I was born, huh? You can't be that old. Unless.." He was beginning to think that it was possible that his mother would have cheated on Goku. She wouldn't do that.. would she? It was causing him to itch, as if he was being attacked by thousands of bugs. His eyes shifted over his mother, silently trying to get his question across. Despite being in a bad mood, Goten would never blurt out questions about his father in front of her. Especially if Gatz was involved, and nearby. WC: 295 TWC: 1,463 |

Chi-chi smiled pleasantly at the gifts that her daughter gave her. She continued to admire them as the three of her beloved family members picked their foods from their menu. As she sat on the seat and took out a jewelry box, she opened it to see the trinket inside. Her black eyes lit up like she was a kid on Christmas. She was unaware of the question that Gatz brought forth to the table. Releasing a giggle, she pulled the necklace out from the jewelry box. It was not like her to be materialistic, however, she appreciated Anju's gesture. "This is incredible Anju." She pecked her daughter on the cheek. Gatz fixed his collar and cleared his throat when Chichi went on about the necklace. Her smile caused him to fiddle with the fork on the table. He bent it in his hand effortlessly. The reason was due to pings of jealousy he felt. He prided himself on being the best in everything, and this was no different. "These forks are shitty." He muttered angrily. He growled inwardly at himself because he was outdone by his daughter. It was a good move on her part. A jealous clearance of his throat wanted Chichi to get back on the subject at hand. For the time being, he ignored the challenge glances Goten gave him. The android terror was like a male lion. It was not wise for someone to gaze directly into the beast's eyes. He saw this as an open threat. Nevertheless, his attention was returned to the original question. He wanted to dominate the table, and he was about to do so by puffing out his chest to make everyone around him uncomfortable. "Buy whatever the fuck you want." He commented at Goten because he saw his little remark as a challenge. His wallet was big enough to accommodate the teen freak's stomach. Once again, he tossed his wallet and card at Anju arrogantly just to rub it in Goten's face. Chichi heard Gatz's fowl language the table. She bumped his shoulder to keep him from cursing in front of the two teens. "Gatz can you be a little more respectful." She told him, but he ignored her gesture when Goten asked about Anju and the future. To her knowledge, Goten was not born in the future like he was in this timeline. It was a horrible thought to have in her mind. She loved all her children. In this timeline, she was fortunate to have three. However, from what she was told, both her sons were murdered in the future which left her alone with Gatz and Anju. Her fist pressed against her heart at the thought of losing anyone. However, the sadness that evoked in her mind, was not displayed to the family members in front of her. Gatz rested his elbows on the table and took as much space as possible. Chichi patted him on the shoulder, but he wanted Goten to get one thing straight. "She is from the future freak face. You weren't even born there because your father died from some heart virus thing." The android terror was well aware of the facts about the future concerning Goku. If Goku was dead like he was in the future, Anju might have been born already in this timeline too. "If your mom and me consummated the marriage, it was a lot sooner. Who knows. Maybe I am your damn father in the future. Lucky you." He smirked cockily because it was true. If Chi and him did have more children in the future that he was unaware of, he could imagine one of them looking like the brat in front of him, yet with a more beastly appearance. "Valentines day ey...well that gives your mom and me plenty of time to get it done because I only get the best for my girls." He chuckled because the conversation was about to get messy. Gatz's harshness caused Chichi to interfere. She knew it was how he was, but she did not want Goten getting his feelings hurt or there being another fight between the two. She would not stand for it especially when Anju put her efforts into keeping it friendly. "He probably didn't know Gatz. Honestly, I don't want to talk about sad things in front of them. This is supposed to be a family dinner." Chichi hit Gatz's shoulder again to keep him from his rudeness. Her eyes fell back onto the necklace she held in her hand. Gatz leaned back on the chair after he heard Chichi's response towards his brutal comment at Goten and his dirty answer to Anju. Apparently, it was inappropriate for him to talk such things in front of the two kids. He would find his entertainment somewhere else to keep the dinner interesting. "Alright, yo waiter get your ass over here. We want to eat." He called out to the waiter. WC: 868 Split WC: 434 Chi TWC: 1,444 Gatz TWC: 1,444 Edited by Bel Zephyra, Oct 13 2014, 06:44 PM.

Anju turned to face her brother again, hearing his question. "Oh, no I'm not that old yet. Only 16. Probably around your age really but....heh technically I don't even exist yet. So no worries. You will still have to deal with me eventually though, both now, and whenever it is these two get around to making me." She explained, jabbing her thumb towards her father and their mother while whispering the final part as she leaned forward towards him. She grinned sweetly as she pulled away and looked back at her father, who just had to go there and announce the goal date. She groaned slightly. "Well I guess at the very least I'll be born soon. That's a start." She responded, agreeing with her mother to cease talking about things that didn't pertain to the present in this case. She glanced back at the menu as her father called the waiter over, and she finally placed her own order, crossing her legs and trying to appear as lady like as possible in front of both of her parents. Not just because she felt like a princess today, but also because she wanted to be as much of a proper lady as possible today. Which also meant no cussing of any sort. This wasn't just for her mother's sake, it was to hopefully impress the half brother she didn't get in the future as well. She set her hands in her lap as she waited patiently for everyone else to order their food, and took in a deep breath. Even though she didn't outright show her appreciation for having a somewhat due date to keep her satisfied, she truly was elated to hear when it was possible for her to be conceived. 292 Words 1578 Characters Running Total 2211 Words 11979 Characters |
