Gohan shrugged at Mister Phoenix's statement concerning seeing anything suspicious--it was probably true. A place like this probably did attract all kinds of odd people, so maybe he was just overreacting--until Mister Gatz brushed past Mister Phoenix, prompting the both of them to watch the man as he moved.

"Something must have drawn his ire..." He said, until the million-zeni question was raised--where was his mother anyway? Looking over towards where Mister Gatz had emerged from, his mother was quick to go after him, spotting the look on her face--deep with concern. As soon as she was close enough to speak, she revealed the situation--something was about to happen outside, and if they didn't get out there, something terrible would occur.

"Mom, you're not making much sense," Gohan said in confusion as Mister Phoenix hoisted her into his arms. Still, Gohan grabbed the prepared syringe--a pretty potent concoction of Morphine, anasthesia, and other drugs to knock someone out cold. His initial plan was to use it against Mister Gatz, more to see how well his metabolism worked, but it looked like he would need it on someone else now. Too powerful to use on his mother, after all--she was with child. Something as potent as this could have adverse effects, so he made sure to put a cover over the end of the needle, to prevent accidental injection.

With that, Gohan sprinted after Mister Phoenix and his mother, the three of them running as quickly as they could towards the exit, straight after her new husband. Gone was the anxiety and uneasiness of Gohan's previous demeanor, replaced by a determination--to do what, exactly, he had no idea, but as always, he wanted to make sure he did more good than harm. And with Mister Gatz around, a lot of harm was probably going to befall someone or another. Whatever the situation was, he would have to adapt to it as quickly as he could.

"Some insight would be wonderful here, mother," he asked, an eyebrow raised as he looked towards her, managing to keep up with the Toughest in the Universe as they reached the exit and made their way onto the parking lot.

Gohan stopped in his tracks at the sight. The towering form of his grandfather was there, armed and armored for his traditional style of combat, accompanied by a strange-looking warrior--no, a Saiyan! They both seemed to be opposing Mister Gatz, who was quick to launch an energy attack at the Ox King, knocking him into a nearby vehicle, but the odd Saiyan helped his Grandfather up to his feet again. Just as the trio of them were approaching.

"Stay back! Get your ass back in the stadium!" Mister Gatz bellowed, obviously towards Gohan's mother--it was doubtful he really cared for the well-being of anyone else that was nearby, watching the situation develop before their eyes.

"Honey! Don't get any closer. I'm going to save you from this monster!" His Grandfather yelled out, causing Gohan to furrow his brow. So they were both concerned for the well-being of his mother, Chi-Chi, and yet they were both coming to blows? Surely his Grandfather would have known about the marriage, if not exactly approved. What was it that made the legendary Ox King suddenly filled with rage and concern? Once again, Gohan spotted the odd-looking Saiyan--that foreboding feeling from before! Had it come from him?

Since the warnings were not issued towards him, Gohan continued to run forward, leaping over vehicles until he was closer towards the engagement. "Stop this nonsense! Grandpa, what's going on!? Mister Gatz is married to her!" Gohan yelled out, stopping right next to Mister Gatz--standing with the crazy man instead of against him, facing off against the Saiyan and the Ox King. "There's no reason to fight!" He claimed, looking between the two opponents. Before Mister Gatz could say anything else, Gohan looked over at the dark-eyed Android.

"I don't care if you complain," Gohan said seriously, preparing himself for a fight. "I won't let you do this alone--it's just as much my business as it is yours," he said, taking off his medical apron and tossing it onto a nearby car. "You may be the Alpha, but I'm still part of this family, this pack."

"You!" Gohan declared, pointing towards the odd Saiyan. "Identify yourself!"

"Mom, you're not making much sense"

Chi-chi had no time to make sense. Her frantic eyes were on the hole in the wall that must have been created by her husband who didn't believe in using doors. She could sense her father outside. In anxiousness, she hoped that no one had been hurt especially her father because knowing Torn he probably manipulated her dad into believing she was in trouble. Torn was a trusted gardener who worked for her father for years even before Chi-chi had been born, therefore, her father would believe him over anyone else.

"Hurry Paul!" The bearded man ran through the hole in the wall. Before he could go any further, she got out of his arms and landed on her feet. Gohan wasted no time in going to aid fuse the situation. He leaped over vehicles and got there before she did. She jogged as quickly as her body could take her with Paul who followed close by.

"Stay back! Get your ass back in the stadium!"

"Honey! Don't get any closer. I'm going to save you from this monster!"

Paul heard Gatz yell in the distance after he sent a big blast into the over sized man he had no clue was Chi's father.

"Damn that guy is huge! Get him boss man!" He had to comment with awe, but he knew size mattered nothing in a fight. He trailed behind Chi-chi.

Chi-chi was too worried about them fighting to correct Paul on what he said.

"Poppa!" She shouted when Gatz blasted her father into the car who was momentarily shaken from being harmed.

Paul's coughed when Chi-chi shouted what she did. Did she mean that towards Gatz in a sexy manner or was she referring to the big man? He took a closer look at the large sized man who was pissed after Gatz blew him into the limousine. The doc man was next to confirm the suspicions.

"Oh shit...you gone and done it now boss man!" He tried not to laugh at Gatz's bad predicament. He trailed behind Chichi and stopped two feet behind Gatz who looked like he was ready to kick some more ass.

The Ox King was ready to strike again until he heard his grandson call out to him.

"Stop this nonsense! Grandpa, what's going on!?

The Ox King heard his grandson who wanted to stop the fight. He had a good heart like his other and father.

"Grandson, where is your mother? Is she okay?" He asked hoping that Gohan was able to give him a straight answer.

"Mister Gatz is married to her!"

The bearded giant was taken back by the information. His hand would have kept his heart from pounding out of his chest if it weren't for the fact that he was trying to be the mighty, fearless king of a father that he was. He momentarily stuttered to himself because it was news to him. A news no father wanted to hear. What happened was worse than he imagined. Not only was his daughter kidnapped, but she was forced to marry a monster.

"You married her without my permission? YOU FIEND!" He roared in outrage despite Gohan's attempt to defuse the situation.

Eventually, the Ox Princess too arrived on the scene and immediately stepped in front of her husband to defuse the situation. Her hand rested on his chest to keep him from attacking her father any further.

"Gatz this is my father. " She told her husband to keep him from overreacting and doing more harm than good. Then her sights set on her father who was able to stand. She narrowed her eyes at Torn for a second before she had her eyes soften to take a look at her father. He was staring right at her. When he spoke, she had a

The Ox King was able to stand on his own. His ax remained at his side in case he had to defend his daughter and grandson from the man who was responsible for kidnapping his daughter in the first place. He was left out of the dark in regards to the separation, the marriage, and the fact this daughter was married to the man he was told was a monster. When he saw his daughter and grandson, his mean exterior softened.

"Chi-chi..honey. Thank Kami you're alright. You should come with me right now. We can take you home where you belong. Gohan and you can come with me. You don't have to stay with this monster anymore. I won't let him get away with what he did to you.” The Ox King vowed to get Chi-chi to come to his side and to safety.

Chi-chi wanted to hug her father desperately. She took a step towards him until he told her that he wanted to take her home because he thought she was endangered. Her eyes closed in sadness.

{Oh papa...what did that evil man tell you? He is a delinquent why can't you see that?} She thought to herself somberly. Torn got to her father before she got to tell her dad the truth about Gatz and herself. The evil gardener must have told her poppa the worst he could say about husband. Her father likely assumed she was kidnapped and forced to marry the man he deemed as a “monster,” but it was not like that at all. She wanted to tell him the truth, but not like this. She was forced into a corner, and Torn was savoring every second of it. With narrowed eyes, she wanted Torn to feel her rage.

“What did you say to him Torn? You had no right!" She shouted angrily at him because he was a menace.

Ox King stepped in front of Torn. His enormous size accentuated his

“He did what he thought he was right dear. This monster hurt you, married you against your will!” There was no reason his trusted gardener would lie to him. It took one look from the Ox King to know that the fiend, who was Chi's husband, was behind her confusion. He did this to her, and he would pay.

The Ox Princess clenched her fists at her sides. Her father was more determined to defend Torn than to understand that she no longer was married to the man her father deemed as a legendary hero.

“He is lying to you papa! I married him by my own free will. You should know me better than that!” She exclaimed because it was true. There was not once in her life where one could dictate her actions. What she did was based on her decisions. She was too stubborn to be controlled or manipulated. While she loved her father, she had to set him right about Gatz. She wanted to defend her husband's honor.

“He is not a monster! His name is Gatz, and he is my husband. He'd never hurt me.” There was strength behind her words. Her lengthy hair blew to the side the moment she wanted her point to be known.

The bearded father lowered his ax at Chi's words. It was hard for him to take in what she said. How could she marry another man?

“Why honey? Why did you leave your family? Goku? Is this why you didn't come to see me?” His voice cracked because he wasn't expecting this from his daughter.

Chi-chi shook her head because she was about to lose it, but she refused to cry.

“No, papa. I wanted to see you believe me, but I was in danger. I didn't want to put you at risk. I didn't want the evil that are after me to attack you. You know I couldn't do that.” She said truthfully.

“I never abandoned my family papa. I gave them everything that I could including Goku. If anyone was abandoned, it was me, and this man rescued me. He made me feel special again.” Her voice broke into a whisper. The fact that her father appeared to be disappointed in her got her breaking down inside , but not because she was wrong. She wanted him to accept the real truth. There was nothing more for her to say. Silently, she lowered her head.

Ox King roared because he couldn't handle the truth. There was a part of him that did know it was true, but he did not want to admit it. He refused too. What his gardener said was reality. After being struck by the fiend, how could it not be true?

“DON'T LIE TO ME!” His thunderous voice rumbled the pavement because he didn't want to accept the truth. It was too hard. Then he noticed the bump from Chi's abdomen. The reality sunk in that what she said was real.

The Android Terror took a step forward because he was about to knock the big freak out for attacking him with the ax. This was until everyone got in his damn way including his girl who he specifically told to stay in the stadium. The nerd freak was the first to come at his side. He growled at the nerd kid for interfering even after he let it slip that the giant was his grandfather. He didn't let it sink just yet.

“Ain't nobody injured yet so step aside.” Seeing her step in front of and press her hand onto his chest, he came to the realization that the man he struck was her dad. He straightened his posture when she said it, but it didn't change the look of hatred he had for the two who were fucking with what was his. Her father was quick to point out that he was a monster. He had to correct his “new” father in law about what he said wrong.

“I'm a fucking beast.” Once again, there was another freak who came at him with false accusations about shit he didn't do. He would openly admit if he did something. He was never ashamed to deny it. Pacing back and forth behind Chi-chi, he was looking for an opening to strike the two down who were in his territory and coming after what was his. He didn't care who it was.

“You're going to listen to this piece of garbage over your own offspring. You are as stupid as he is then.” He commented bluntly from behind Chi-chi. The tension escalated and so did the android terror's explosive temper. His menacing eyes were glaring at the two who were behind his wife's current state. Sensing her stress, only escalated his need to wreck shit. He heard his wife defend his reputation and honor. His chin lifted up with arrogance. He had pride about it, but it wasn't necessary. He never cared about what trash thought of him.

The Android spotted Paul who was the last to arrive on the scene. He ignored the clown's comments because he had no patience for it. The father and daughter were having their moment so the terror had to keep himself from interfering. Sniffing the goof freak there was a faint smell of alcohol, he snatched the bottle that was hidden in his shirt and downed it. He chugged it. The alcohol distracted him for only a second. Watching the scene, the second one of them took a step forward at her he was there.

He took one back glance at her to see that her head was down. His teeth grit and his muscles flexed with authority.

“I'm fucking done with this. I'm done with this shit.” He wanted everyone to hear him.

Seeing Ox King get too close, the android terror stepped in front of Chi-chi with the bottle in his hand. The Giant towering in front of him was pulled back by Torn who was trying to look like the good Samaritan in all of this. Torn was nothing more than a pathetic bitch.

“Pack your bags Chi. We are leaving tonight and away from these freaks.” He ordered and expected it to be that way. Glaring up at the Ox King, he stuck his arm out with the liquor bottle in his hand. He wanted to get his point heard.

“She may be your offspring, but she's MY wife and she's carrying my offspring which means she'll go wherever the hell I go. If you don't like it, then too bad. Just know that I don't need any of you to take care of what's mine.” Saying it with malice, he wanted Ox King to get the idea that she wasn't going anywhere with him.

“Get your cheap suits together nerd freak. We're leaving.” He barked at Gohan so he do it without question. Taking the bull by the horns, he gave the two instigators one last piece of advice. The reason he spared their lives was only because the Ox King was someone his wife cared about. If they were anyone else, they'd be laying in body bags on the street.

“I expect both of you to not be n my city when I come return because if you are. I'll end you both.” He turned and grasped his wife by the arm gently to pull her away with him.

Gohan watched the exchange with trepidation in his heart, watching his mother try to explain the situation, watching his grandfather become more and more heartbroken, watching Mister Gatz become more and more irritated with the whole situation. It was intense and dramatic, especially when Gohan realized that his mother had not told his grandfather that she had remarried--an aspect of their lives that Gohan was still coming to terms with, an aspect that Goten was likely trying to deal with; something that the great Ox King would have to think upon. As his grandfather's face went crestfallen, so too did Gohan's heart. More than anyone else in the parking lot, he could sympathize with the whole situation, knowing exactly how his grandpa felt.

“Why honey?" That same question echoed in her eldest son's mind, a thousand questions that seemed to stir in his brain like a sea of screams, and yet that one pierced through the veil above all others, dominating his mind. Of all the other questions, that one mattered the most, because in all likelihood, it was the most difficult to answer. There probably was no specific reason--just a conglomeration of peeves, disappointments, stresses, and failures... not on his father's part, not on his part, not on Goten's part--it was all of their faults. She would never admit it; she loved her children too dearly to ever accuse them of something like this. And that, perhaps, was why Mister Gatz was probably the perfect man for her right then and there, standing not two inches away from her.

"Look who decided to show up after months of not being here. Your mother is fine if that is what you wanted to know and thanks to me." The voice, cold and vindictive, rang across his consciousness like a gavel, a single statement that told Gohan all he needed to know--the why. Sure, he was abrasive, with little regard for life except for hers, but that was exactly the kind of person that she needed, above all others--someone that put her first in their life. His father, Goku, did not, constantly training for the next big fight, for the next big challenge. He didn't--constantly studying for his medical license, never once thinking that his mother would ever be in danger. Goten didn't, probably because he was still trying to find himself and find out who he would be in life. The only men in her immediate family that had the greatest claim to her defense had been completely,

Utterly,

Unforgivably,

Absent.

“No, papa. I wanted to see you believe me, but I was in danger. I didn't want to put you at risk. I didn't want the evil that are after me to attack you. You know I couldn't do that.” She said truthfully, feeling all the emotion she was putting into her words, pleading with her father--trying to make him understand, while at the same time, fearful that him understanding the situation would make him that much more disappointed in her. Just as she had been disappointed in her former husband and her children, he would be disappointed in her. Now the feeling was so mutual, so two-fold, he felt his limbs start to fail him, as if the whole reality of the situation threatened to crush him under heel, concern laced with sadness on his expression. And the worst part of the whole thing was, Gohan wasn't even aware of it until today--because it had never once crossed his mind. He thought, after the unbelievable threat to Earth a few years ago, after everything that had passed, that the world was finally safe.

He should have known better.

“I never abandoned my family papa. I gave them everything that I could including Goku. If anyone was abandoned, it was me, and this man rescued me. He made me feel special again.”

Despite Mister Gatz pacing to and fro, drinking what was left of the liquor bottle, acting like the animal he was, there was a new found respect from the young doctor, her eldest looking upon her new husband not as some kind of animal or beast--even though that was what he was, free confession and everything--there was a sense of nobility in his treatment to his mother at that very moment, as if an epiphany struck his mind. This was the one man, out of all others in her life, that had given a damn. The one person that she could completely rely upon--not Gohan, not Goten, and not Goku--Mister Gatz. There was something to be said of a man that did not know what failure smelled like--because right now, Gohan now knew what that kind of thing felt like very keenly at the moment. It left a sick taste in his mouth and stomach, that was for sure. He found himself incapable of looking upon his mother, as if her shame was now his shame as well.

At that moment, Mister Gatz intervened on the conversation--probably out of impatience or an intolerance for anything that made his wife upset. What he probably did not realize, however, that now was the time to separate them, to let everything both sides had said sink in and come to terms with all that had happened. Whether Mister Gatz was arrogant or the most brilliant man in the world, Gohan was not sure, but either way, he was doing a lot more good than harm right now, probably because his wife was there, because there was a person she cared deeply about there. He watched the restraint on the android's face, especially as he warned both Grandpa and the strange Saiyan man he was with.

“Get your cheap suits together nerd freak. We're leaving," Mister Gatz ordered, prompting Gohan to look over at his mother's husband for a moment before nodding, grabbing his things that were nearby--and letting go of the syringe that was in his pocket. He had had a tight grip on it since this whole ordeal started, prepare to inject either Mister Gatz or his own Grandpa with a powerful dose of drugs that would, essentially, put them to sleep for at least an hour. But he let go of it--from what he could tell, it was no longer needed, at least for the moment.

As Mister Gatz turned to leave with his mother, Gohan took a step towards his Grandfather, putting a reassuring hand on the gentle giant's arm.

"It's good to see you again, Grandpa. I'm--I'm sorry this turned out the way it did," he said. He tried to say more, but words failed him--a lot of things were failing him today. "I'll... I'll make sure to call you later--we can catch up then, okay? I--I have to go," he said, turning away from his Grandfather as he put his overcoat on, his fists tighter than steel. He was disappointed with himself, more than anything else, to think that everything that had happened, was because he had never once thought to check up on his own mother.

A look of serious vindication came over Gohan's face as he readjusted his reading glasses onto his face. Never again, he thought, looking at the backs of both his mother and his new step-father. I refuse to be unreliable ever again.

"It's good to see you again, Grandpa. I'm--I'm sorry this turned out the way it did, "I'll... I'll make sure to call you later--we can catch up then, okay? I--I have to go,"

The Mighty Ox King stared at the ground in a similar fashion to his daughter who was pulled away before he could say anything more. Gohan was convinced that she was safe, yet it did not settle well with the giant bull king. He did not appreciate the violence that her new husband displayed. This Gatz man, may have convinced his daughter that he was good, but to the Ox King he knew better. What the Ox King did not know was how alike Gatz and him were. Perhaps that is why he feared for his daughter's safety. Throughout his reign at Fire Mountain, he killed treasure hunters and those who crossed him. He didn't want that life for his daughter. He remembered the times Chi's mother pleaded him for to change. When she was gone, so was his mind. It wasn't until he met Goku, who he considered the perfect man for her daughter because of his values, that he changed. He offered to give Goku his daughter's hand in marriage way before she was old enough. She followed her obligation and even fell in love which was why the Ox King was shocked by the news.

As a leader, he was fearless, but as a father he tended to worry. He did not want his little girl suffering at the hands of a killer. If she suffered, the family did too. He felt helpless in the situation. Gohan's words were not enough to keep him at ease. Torn, his trusted gardener, rested a hand on his arm to keep the mighty King in check. Before Gohan and her were gone, he dropped his ax. He didn't want things to end on bad terms even if he was angered by the situation. His disappointment was noted in his tone.

"This doesn't settle anything honey, but before you leave...tell me will I have a granddaughter or a grandson?" His thunderous tone lowered itself as he waited for an answer.

Chi-chi said not a word when her husband interfered. He stepped in front of her protectively. Her son was next to settle the situation. Being too into her sadness, she said nothing in regards to her husband's abrasive attitude and his ruthless actions. He had a liquor bottle in his hand which she supposed further proved Torn's lies to be true. Eventually, he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away. She had no will to fight him since the heart ache kept her feet from moving. It was better for her to get away from the planet because at the moment there were too many stresses.

What her husband demanded next caught her off guard. Her eyes fell on Gohan. He ordered her son to come with them. Had he listened to her suggestion two days prior about her needing a doctor just in case something went wrong? She knew how he was when it came to decisions. Normally, he liked to make his word final. Her stubborn nature constantly bumped heads with his ego because of it. However, he always tended to look out for her best interest.

Being pulled by the arm, she heard her father's question which was one that immediately eased her conscience. He appeared to be coming to terms with her new marriage even if he wasn't happy about it.

"She will be a girl." She said to her father. A small, prideful smile spread across her lips because there was hope that her father might get through it. As for Torn, she would get back to him once her pregnancy was over. She would get him back for his lies in the attempt to make her husband dishonorable. He messed with her family, and she would make him pay for that.

The Ox King didn't smile at the news of her next child being a daughter. Internally, he had a sense of joy.

"Take care of your mother Gohan and that goes for you too Mr. Gatz." He warned.

{I love you papa....} She walked away with her husband. Her slender arms wrapped around his arm as her appreciated for what he did. As hard as it was for her to admit sometimes, his brash behavior was necessary for moments like these.

Gatz released Chi's arm once they were clear from the scene. He took one glare back at the Monkey Freak who was behind the entire ordeal. He wanted to snap the hairy bitch's neck for messing with his girl. His girl didn't let her father's demands change her mind. She backed him up and followed him without struggle. A sense of egotistical pride arose in him when she told her dad that it was he who knocked her up and that it was a girl. Cracking his neck to relieve the stress in it, he led the group back towards the stadium. The Android Terror didn't look back even after the Ox King threatened him. If the King were anyone else, the android terror would have put him in his place. Her arms wrapped around his which solidified his victory. He tossed his liquor bottle to the side after it was emptied. Glaring over at Gohan, he wanted to make his demands clear.

"Nerd freak you're coming with us to space, but you aren't taking a vacation. There won't be that comic book reading crap you probably do. I have something better in mind. You're going to fucking like it too. You'll be a beast's punching bag." His hardened expression meant he was being serious. The freaks coming with him to space were training and not being lazy shits. He needed some freaks to wreck.

The Toughest in the Universe followed the group with his hands in his pockets. The scene was hard for him to watch knowing the boss girl was feeling down. Her father's big size explained why she was tough as nails. This wasn't entirely was bothered him though. He was bummed that Gatz took his liquor bottle. He was so bummed that he didn't join in the conversation that Gatz and GOhan were having.

"Hey man! Why did you give that liquor bottle to Gohan and not me? " He was genuinely disappointed.

The Android Terror's intense glare rested on Paul.

"If I let you drink it I won't have anything to drink my fucking self when you are around. I need it to keep from breaking your fucking face in every time you open your stupid mouth." He tried not to smirk because the android terror enjoyed his beastly humor.

Paul Phoenix grinned and rested his hand on the back of his head.

"Didn't think of it like that boss man. You right. Hey Gohan if you're coming up with space, bring me some lotion. I need to be totally relaxed when dealin with stinkin aliens." He commented with no intention behind it.

Gatz looked down at Chi who was deep in thought. The stress in her body could be sensed by him. He knew it could be damaging to a girl like her who was stubborn and tough as shit. Wrapping his arm around her in a rare, display of public affection, he pulled her small frame into his. He didn't want her hearing what Paul said because the android terror took it the wrong way.

"You do that shit around me or my girl I'll throw your ass out of the ship and into space freak." He threatened with a harsh growl.

Paul's blue eyes widened.

"Aw come on BOSS! I didn't meant it like that." He complained because his boss took it the wrong way.

Gohan made it a point to look over his shoulder towards his grandpa, his heart not feeling the warm smile that he tried to force upon his face. "You bet, Grandpa," the young doctor said as he followed both Mister Gatz and his mother back towards the stadium, his thoughts far more distracted by the unfolded events. His ears heard the fact that his mother was going to have a little girl--her first daughter--but his mind did not seem to register it. His mind and heart were still recovering from the tormenting revelation of the day's events, his spirit still trying to drive him further and further where he would otherwise break down in depression. It was daunting and shameful, the events leading up to this 'reunion', and yet his legs kept moving, his heart kept beating--he would not disappoint his mother again like that. Not that it was truly necessary anymore--she had Mister Gatz to take care of her, she had the life of wealth and luxury now.

Stop that, he thought to himself. He shook his head a little to clear his own mind of the fuzziness, fatigue, and despair--he refused to be unreliable anymore, and that would be fact. He would not let his family down again anymore--not after the things that had happened before, today, and the way things were shaping up for the future. No--he was here to stay. Where yesterday, he had wanted to live out his own life with his wife, and he still would, but now, the closer to his mother he was, the better. He refused to let anything happen to her again--with or without the presence of Mister Gatz.

Once the party stopped in their tracks, he saw Mister Gatz toss the liquor bottle aside, his glare looking over towards Gohan. At first, the doctor thought he was about to get chewed out for getting between Mister Gatz and his prey, but something entirely different came out of his step-father's mouth: "Nerd freak you're coming with us to space, but you aren't taking a vacation. There won't be that comic book reading crap you probably do. I have something better in mind. You're going to fucking like it too. You'll be a beast's punching bag," Gatz said, causing a grimace to form on Gohan's face, eyebrow twitching in apprehension. Well that was... completely unexpected. So not only was he about to go into space--probably to help his mother out with her new child and everything--but he was also going to be on the receiving end of Mister Gatz's aggression during the whole trip. Wonderful. He could think of less interesting things to pass the time with, that was for certain, but they would also be far less... painful as well. Still, he nodded towards Mister Gatz, probably the closest thing towards an employment opportunity as the young doctor was going to get right now. "Yes, sir," he said, leaving out the comment of having to bring several text books on childbirth and maternity. He would probably bring them along anyway, not to mention spend the time leading up to their trip reading up on such things. If there was one thing medical school did, it was cram one's head full of details, facts, and procedures--so it helped to keep as many books handy, just in case you forgot something. Oddly enough, he did not feel any complaints about the arrangement--not only did the trip mean he could spend more time with his mother, Mister Gatz, and Mister Phoenix, but it also meant that he could make sure his mother's pregnancy proceeded smoothly. Surely, however, they meant to return to Earth before she was due--Gohan looked over at his mother for a moment as Mister Phoenix exclaimed his disappointment with Mister Gatz. No, it would probably be good to be prepared anyway, just in case traveling in space forced her pregnancy early. At least, he hoped it wouldn't but... if anything was taught to him today, it was that he needed to be fully prepared wherever he went.

Mister Phoenix grinned at Mister Gatz's comment about drinking habits, something Gohan was not exactly looking forward to. 'They'll probably drag me along to drink with them,' Gohan thought to himself before looking over at Mister Phoenix, the powerful man requesting Gohan bring some lotion with him for use so that Mister Phoenix would be relaxed when dealing with aliens. At first, Gohan thought nothing of it, nodding and keeping a mental note of that. He knew of a few kinds that had a naturally relaxing scent as well as theraputic properties for one's skin and muscles. Maybe even some oil as well for--

"You do that shit around me or my girl I'll throw your ass out of the ship and into space freak," Mister Gatz threatened with a growl, causing Mister Phoenix's eyes to widen and Gohan to pause in his thought process, blinking at the whole exchange.

"Aw come on BOSS! I didn't meant it like that," the guard said, causing Gohan to laugh out loud, a liberating experience given the harsh and depressing emotions that had been exchanged between the whole group for the last few minutes. He couldn't help himself--his body's natural response to relieving the stress building up in his chest all day. It was a few long moments before he stopped laughing, a hand behind his head in embarrassment.

"Don't worry, Mister Phoenix," Gohan said once he was done, practically imagining everyone's eyes on him. "We know you didn't. I'll get you taken care of, no problem," he said before smiling at the rest of his newfound family. "Don't worry--I won't disappoint. I'll make sure to take good care of all of you."
