Of course Gohan could be found in the shopping district of the expansive city, wearing his heavier winter coat over his formal attire. He looked up towards the various shopping centers, shopping malls, and other vendors along the triple-wide lane, blinking repeated as he looked at each one. The air misted in front of his face as he exhaled, the cold starting to set in during this particular holiday season. He looked back down at a practical plethora of magazines and advertisements in his hands, looking more confused and worried by the minute--especially since they had been more-or-less dumped on him by paper boys and the mail man since he moved into the city scarcely a week ago. A week was all it took for companies in this city to determine where he lived, what his address was, and all of the things he would need to be socially insecure for this particular holiday season. It was enough to make him grimace, looking at the various advertisements he was carrying and trying to figure out proper gifts for everyone he knew. He wasn't really strapped for cash, really. He had plenty to go around, now that he started working for Mister Gatz, but the point wasn't the money--it was the gift. He had no idea what kind of gifts to get his brother, his father, his mother, Mister Gatz, Mister Phoenix, Jocelyn Addison, Videl, and all the other important people in his life. It was like trying to form a mental list of all the different people he liked and loved and try to figure out what each person would really enjoy. Some of them were easier than others to understand, honestly, but others...? What did you even get a billionaire android terror? What kind of gift would be ideal for a mother that didn't scream either 'you're becoming an old lady' or 'clearly I am misogynistic' or anything insulting like that. Not to mention figuring out what Paul Phoenix would like as a gift. Well, maybe he would be a little easier, but he wasn't sure if 'best alcohol on the market' was exactly an appropriate gift for such an important family holiday. ...That was if his family was even celebrating it. Were they? That was probably something important he should have found out before he left his house. Not to mention there were all kinds of different shops and things he had never had as a kid or a teenager that were being sold in droves. Was he just supposed to get into the longest lines and get the same things everyone else was buying? Should he have gone to Miss Bulma for advice on gifts? Oh, another section of the get-together he would likely have to plan for. What did Saiyan Princes and Princesses like for gifts? That was also a hard one--the only memories about Saiyans he had was trying to keep the planet from blowing up, and those were from when he was five years old. He looked down at the advertisements, trying to think of what you even bought your parents for Christmas. Did you get them rocking chairs and reading glasses? That would probably be the fastest way to get hit with a frying pan by his mother. Did he just buy her more jewelry--despite the fact that Gatz could probably afford a lot higher quality jewelry than he could? How did you even buy for someone that had enough money to buy whatever they wanted? Was the point behind the spirit of the holiday at that point, to show you cared? Ugh... this was becoming insane. At this point, Gohan stuffed the advertisements into his deep coat pocket and turned around, heading right back for the coffee shoppe he was so fond of. The coffee cup he was currently holding was completely empty, and if he was going to make these kinds of decisions, he would need another, most likely. Once he retrieved another pumpkin spice latte--once again, flavored and sweetened with honey, of all things--he returned back to the central area of the shopping district, looking around with this hopeless look on his face. Where did he even start looking? Should he just go from vendor to vendor and just look around until he made a decision? How in the world did all these people manage to get into this place anyway? There seemed like a never-ending tide of people trying to shop today! He adjusted the scarf around his neck--one that would likely be familiar to his mother if she were in the area--before he took another cursory look around. At this point, he was just going to start flipping a coin to see which store he would go in first! ((WC: 832)) |

Anju sucked in a deep breath of fresh air. It was easy to tell now, so deep into the month what holiday it was everyone was excited for. Lights blinking, trees on display, decorated with only the most wonderful of ornaments. It was obvious. And it was certainly not lost on her either. The chill in the air was enough to prove it all to her. The teen gave a shakey breath, watching it create a small wisp from how warm her breath was compared to the chill of the outside world. But anything to her was better then the future was. And the more she wandered around in the mall of her father's city, the more she realized that she wasn't just fighting to protect her family in some aspects. {In other aspects, I'm fighting for this timeline's way of life right? So that doesn't make this a completely selfish act....right?} She wasn't quite sure why she was mulling over her actions. It wasn't exactly like her to do so. Usually, the sixteen year old was used to just tackling everything head on. Shoot now, ask questions later. Though in her case it was much less of shooting now, and more or less charging head first, before asking questions that likely were already answered. {Does it really matter anyway? If I just finish up with this whole mess then and only then can we all enjoy a peaceful future. So it's both selfish and selfless. End of discussion!} She insisted mentally. Her eyes hardened then as she continued forward through the wave of people. {...Okay I get it, it's the holidays....but does that mean EVERYONE in the CITY HAS TO PILE IN HERE?!} she thought to herself, as she outwardly made a show of being polite enough to say 'excuse me' and the like as she pushed past. Much unlike her father, who would just tell everyone too get the fuck out of his way or else. The teen huffed as she continued forward, pulling out the list from one of her large coat's chest pockets. She went over it again and again. She knew what she'd be getting her mother. And she had a vague idea of what to get her mentor...but she wasn't even sure what Goten would want. Then again, if his tastes in bikini's were anything to go on, perhaps her brother simply wanted to add some things to his wardrobe. She crushed the list in her hand then as she thought about it. While the bikini was not something the teen should be getting so upset over, considering how easy one could make their own...given it was more or less just a bunch of strings, and yet she was insanely upset over it. It was the only suit she could find that would give her the least amount of tan lines! Tan lines, that, by the way, would be easy to cover over the usual things she wore. She puffed her cheeks out again as she narrowed her eyes. If only her stupid half brother hadn't of stolen it for...well whatever he wanted it for, and while she had no evidence to prove he had actually stolen it, who the heck else could've?! All she knew was one day it was there, hanging out in her drawer, along with her under garments and the like. And the next....it was gone! Gone with the wind! Her eyes followed the names on the list again, as she tried to reign in her rising urge to murder someone. Namely the brother she didn't HAVE to deal with except in this timeline. She tucked the list back into her open pocket and wandered into a shop. She scanned through a few racks and tried to gauge whether an outfit or shirt was too wild for her mother by estimating how it would look on her, although she wasn't having much luck. Deciding to come back to her mother's gift later, she drifted to yet another shop, looking instead for something for her mentor, Mr.Phoenix. Unable to decide between alcohol, which she wouldn't have been able to buy to begin with, and a few R rated movies that she also could not purchase yet either, she huffed and groaned as she drifted to yet, ANOTHER shop, where she instantly gave up, upon seeing that they would not sell weapons to a minor. Throwing her arms up into the air, she groaned to herself again. "Is there ANY chance I can find gifts that I can ACTUALLY buy here?!" She bellowed to no one, and yet, to everyone present at the same time. Stuffing her hands into her oversized coat, she searched for her smokes and lighter, finding neither of them as she patted herself down comically. Great. She couldn't even attempt to make herself feel at least a tiny bet less tense. Here she was out with the intent of getting her christmas shopping done, and getting everyone she wanted to some sort of gift, and she couldn't even smoke. Not simply because people were bumping into her left and right, or being unable to find gifts she could ACTUALLY buy for her family, but also because she couldn't even find the object of her current desire! She cursed silently to herself as she continued patting herself down, until the smell of coffee reached her nostrils. Her eyes locked with someone she could swear looked like Goten, although she only got a brief look at the person from the back of his head. {.....Oh I see....} She thought to herself, as her eyes narrowed. {If you think wearing stilts and prancing around here is gonna fool me ONE second Goten you are an idiot!!} She thought, as she set her sights on following this strange man. No longer was she being polite, not when she was on a mission. Operation: Find out what happened to the itsy bitsy teeny weenie String Bikini!! 992 Words 5437 Characters |

The young doctor adjusted the spectacles on his glasses as he withdrew the advertisements out of his pocket, once again looking across the different ads for some kind of clue or sign of who to buy something for. So far, it looked like Mister Phoenix and probably his mother would be the easiest to shop for first, so he looked around--standing on his tip toes for a moment to look over the heads of everyone--before spotting a liquor store nearby that could probably be useful for at least one of the people on his list. Getting past all the people going to and fro was another challenge in of itself, though he seemed to be taller than most of the people around. "Excuse me, sir," he said to one person, only to feel someone brush against his elbow. "Pardon me, ma'am," he said to a passing woman. Again and again this process was repeated, the young doctor finding the sheer volume of people shopping at this time of day to be almost ludicrous. He had to 'pardon' himself at least half a dozen more times as he casually made his way towards the liquor store, looking up at the various signs for a moment before blinking a little. He had no idea what even a third of these brands were, but thankfully, there was one in particular he was looking for--Hennessey. He remembered having to drink the stuff while riding around in Mister Gatz's rather fancy and expensive limousine--as well as the look on Mister Phoenix's face when he had given the rest of the bottle to the man. Of course, Mister Gatz had just re-acquired the bottle after the nonsense at the stadium, but perhaps this time around, Mister Phoenix would at least get to enjoy himself. The young doctor adjusted his glasses as he looked at the various labels of the top shelf liquor, looking around for a moment until he smiled when he saw the correct one. Same brand, too, like the one he had been shown in Mister Gatz's vehicle. He gently pulled the bottle down from the shelf, feeling its weight before looking at the price tag. He grimaced a little at it for a moment before he shrugged. All for a good cause, right? He then walked over towards the counter and placed the bottle there, waiting for the teller to ring him up with a total. The elderly man--not the sleezy kind, but the well-dressed and maintained sort of individual--looked over at Gohan and squinted his eyes. "I.D. please, sir. Gotta card everyone 'round here," the man said, prompting Gohan to retrieve his identification and present it to the elderly man. The cashier looked upon it for a moment before nodding in approval, returning the identification to the owner before speaking up again. "You aren't here with some red-haired girl, are ya?" Gohan blinked his eyes for a moment, confused by the question. "Red-haired girl...? No, I don't know anyone of that description," the doctor responded, as if looking for something in his mind about red hair. No, the only person with red hair he had ever met had tried to kill him, so that likely wasn't it. Regardless, that seemed to satisfy the old man, who rang up Gohan's total and the doctor paid for the liquor. Since it as a gift, Gohan had the bottle wrapped into a protective box for safekeeping and then it was put into a bag he could more easily carry. There we go--safe and sound! Gohan walked out of the liquor store, adjusting his glasses a little bit again as he looked up and down the lane again, trying to figure out the next leg in this particular journey. A weapon shop, a movie shop, a clothing store, all seemed to catch his notice for a moment as he tapped his chin for a moment. Perhaps stopping by the clothing store next would be ideal, he thought to himself, moving off towards that direction, once again having to utter a whole slew of 'excuse me's and 'pardon me's. Anju groaned as it seemed this crowd of people would simply NOT part for her. This only caused her anger to grow, but unfortunately for her, the person she was tailing who must've been Goten because WHO ELSE could it be, had dodged her by heading straight into the liquor store she had tried to get into earlier. She'd been thrown out for using a fake i.d. The old man manning the register didn't even care who she was. All he cared about was NOT losing his liquor liscence. She snarled lowly as she narrowed her eyes. "Of course....wait...isn't Goten under age too? Ha! Wait till mom hears this! He's in a disguise and buying booze! She's sure to get pissed..." She smirked devilishly to herself. Still however, her particularly annoying half brother would NOT escape her wrath. Not this time! This she vowed passionately. She instead hung out at the shop beside it, a lingerie store as she glared out around the corner. She was just waiting for her annoying brother to come out of that stupid store. All so she could confront him, and yell at him once more about keeping his damn hands OFF of her things! She watched, and waited, but her brother just had to take his sweet ass time! "The fuck are you doing in there Goten!? Getting it painted in gold!? Sheesh! Get OUT of there so I can throttle you for stealing my DAMN BIKINI!" She growled to herself, as she sank her finger nails hard into the decortive pillar outside of the kinky lingerie store. She tried to keep her patience in check. Tried, being the keyword, but already her anger was about to blow. Finally, when she was about ready to storm in there whether she got kicked out or not, he reappeared outside of the door....and headed the exact opposite direction as she was expecting! {Oh come ON Goten!! You can't escape this!} She groaned mentally, as she rushed forward to catch up, but already, a flock of people were blocking her way to him. "Argh....I hate the holidays!" She complained to herself, as she struggled to push past every single stupid person who blocked her path. She managed to somehow keep him in her sights as she barreled past a few people, her hardened expression set onto the man's back as though there were a bullseye glued there. {Hell hath NO fury like the sister you stole from!! And you're gonna pay....whether in cash or a beating is the question!} She continued to mentally rant to herself, for the moment more distracted with stalking who she thought with all of heart must be Goten. Because, well, who else could it be? Who else had black spikey hair like Goten? {Gotta admit he has some good balance if he is on stilts...} She thought to herself, though her anger would not sway her to take a second look. She knew what her brother looked like, enough to know he was in deep shit with her anyway. Once she was able to corner him, there would be no mistake. There would only be PAIN. 522 Words 2882 Characters Running Total 1514 Words 8319 Characters |

Man... All of these people here. Yes, it was a bit of a pain to move around properly with all of these people, but the general cheer was enough to keep up the good mood of the holidays! Such a festive occasion! All the lights and decorations--if only it was not so cold out! Gohan managed to brush by several individuals, looking up towards the clothing store sign for a moment, as if to admire the decorations painstakingly placed around the sign. Of course, it would be easy for someone that could fly, but for regular people, he could appreciate the time and effort it took to arrange the wreaths so well! After his moment of adoration, the young doctor slipped inside the clothing store, faintly hearing a few snippets of protest behind him. Maybe someone was in a hurry. Either way, he moved inside, already feeling the heaters pumping warmer air into the store, leaving the young man with a more comfortable feeling in his coat and suit as he walked around the store. This one, at least, had a lot fewer people inside than the streets thankfully, allowing Gohan to at least stretch his long legs as he walked around, taking in the scent of clean fabric and carpet that hung in the air. His gaze traveled around the various racks of clothing an accessories, curious what kind of shirt or outfit his mother would really like. Not to mention something for Goten as well, who also seemed to be difficult to shop for, though not nearly as much as his own mother. Some warmer clothing would probably be alright for him, probably a nice leather jacket. Gohan proceeded towards the men's section, acquiring a rather wide-shouldered leather jacket that Goten would likely enjoy what with the colder weather settling in. He put the jacket into a nearby handbasket to carry around for the remainder of his stay in the store before proceeding onward further in, now settling on something for his mother. It was at that point he noticed the feeling of eyes on his back. He stopped for a moment to look around, adjusting his glasses as he observed his surroundings, looking for any one he recognized. Unfortunately, he did not seem to recognize anyone in the crowd, so he merely shrugged and went back to his shopping, suddenly noticing a 'bargain' bin of books off to the side. Being ever the scholar, the young doctor walked over towards it to examine the contents thereof. Most of it looked like uninteresting topics or novels, but he noticed a book called the Kamasutra, a book a friend of his had recommended back in college. With the words "The Perfect Book for the Married Couple," upon the front, Gohan figured this would be a nice gift for his mother and Step-Father. He had no idea what was in the book, but no friend of his had ever led him astray, so why question it? He put the book into the hand basket of his, intending to buy it before moving on further into the store. After a few moments, he passed by the women's apparel section, trying to figure out just what to get his mother. His eyes passed over various outfits, when the thought struck him. He would probably need to get something for Jocelyn and Videl as well... Hrm. Quite the conundrum. How did you shop clothes for women? He couldn't recall ever doing that before. Would just a fur coat be nice? He couldn't imagine anything he could buy being the same quality as what Mister Gatz could purchase... "This is no good... I don't even know her size..." He said to himself, scratching his head for a moment as he emerged from the women's department, looking absolutely muddled. He would have to think of something else for his mother, and Video had quite the selection already... ((WC: 676)) ((TWC: 2220)) |

The teen was only getting further frustrated with the entire situation. If it weren't for the fact that she could pin point where her loser brother's head was, she wouldn't have been able to even keep up as well as she had. That is...until he disappeared into one of the MANY shops litering the shopping center. Now furious with the outcome, the teen scanned any windowed areas, trying to find where the heck her stupid thieving brother ran off to! "Argh...this is hopeless! I'm never gonna find him with all of these damn shoppers around....and I don't wanna handle this the same way my father would...." She fumbled for an excuse to possibly clear out the shopping center. Instead of finding a good excuse however, she turned around and shoved her hands back into her pockets, her eyes lighting up when she finally found her pack of smokes.![]() "Well there's a silver lining...." She muttered to herself, as she pulled the small carton out of her pocket, along with the lighter she kept tucked away, the fresh smell of nicotine wafted her way, making her a little less apprehensive in her search for her supposedly on stilts older half brother who had totally stolen her bikini. Her fingers traced the edges of the carton, as she went about selecting the one lucky cigarette that would help land her in paradise. Until she was bumped, EXTREMELY RUDELY at that, and with a loud yelp, that was in chorus with a lot of screaming, the teen went crashing to the ground. Her carton of cigarettes getting trampled by a pair of cackling individuals who were now the new targets of the red head's rising murderous rage. An older man stepped up to the red head, noticing she hadn't gotten up right away. "Are you alright Miss?" He asked, as he offered her his hand. She brushed it off as she rose to her feet. If it were not for her bangs covering her face, the kindly gentlemen would not know of the distinct look of murder glistening in her bright red eyes. Instead, as she turned to look in the direction of the dastardly duo making their way to another shop, wielding guns at that, she glanced down at her poor carton of scattered and now, completely crushed cigarettes. The wasted nicotine was only adding fuel to the fire. For the moment, the teen was distracted from her original mission. Now, not only were these idiots invading and making trouble, in her FATHER'S CITY, but they were also currently her number one target. "I'm fine sir. Thank you for asking." The teen replied, grinding her teeth together. "Happy Holidays." She said, almost robotically as she made her first few steps forward. An aura of pure, and unrelenting rage seemed to settle around her, and if anyone looked close enough as she strutted near the shop the two suspects disappeared into, likely raiding it, they would only see the shine of a teenager ready to crush a few skulls. Just like daddy taught her. Bat, or no bat. ![]() "Looks like Christmas came early....and I got a brand new punching bag to BREAK in...." She smirked, as she stopped just short of the shop where the duo were greedily stuffing their bags full of expensive looking jewelry, the cashier and owner of the shop cowering in a corner while any of the customers were on their knees, fearing for their safety. Won't a hero rise to the occasion? Surely, if one did not appear soon....then the red headed terror would certainly have to make do for the poor citizens of Gatz Haven! 606 Words 3769 Characters Running Total 2120 Words 12088 Characters |

Perturbed at the conundrum in front of him, he decided to go back to shopping in other places before trying to make a final decision on what to get the women in his life, instead going towards the front of the store. There, he got in line at one of the registers, waiting for his turn to pay for the articles he planned on purchasing. He looked down at his watch, still making good time on his shopping experience, thankfully. The line seemed to inch along a little at a time--but there was something going on that caught Gohan's attention all the same. Across the way, people were running out of a building--looked like a jewelry store--but the tall doctor managed to catch a glimpse of at least two people with guns. The hairs on the back of his head started to stand on end, his cheery disposition disappeared in a flash, replaced with a look of determination. Try to rob a store during the holidays? He didn't think so! "Excuse me, ma'am," he said to the cashier when it was his turn to check out. "Could you hold onto these for me? I left my wallet in my car!" He said, rubbing the back of his neck in awkwardness, chuckling nervously a little before he dashed out of the store. The resulting chaos that was happening with the robbery was causing people to run to and fro, but he managed to sneak into a nearby alleyway, sliding his coat sleeve away from his watch. He pushed the red button upon the side--he never did have the heart to throw the device away. 'Thanks, Bulma,' he thought to himself, releasing the button, activating the disguise device upon it. Like this, he could be anything--do anything. Where his confidence could wane as Gohan, disguised as he was, he could lift the stars. He wasn't an ordinary person anymore now--not as-- Inside the jewelry store, the men were waving their weapons around, occasionally firing them into the ceiling for a few laughs, pilfering practically everything in sight and stuffing them into bags. One particular woman was caught in a corner, her back to the wall as one of the robbers pointed his weapon towards her. He demanded her valuables, laughing the entire time at how surpreme he must have felt. Weapons were the ultimate equalizer, especially when the other person did not have one. But like a flash, that was soon to change. "I suggest you give this up now," a voice came from behind the robbers, the both of them turning to look towards the source of the voice. Standing there, having come in through a side door, was an oddly dressed man with a helmet. "This life of crime won't get you anywhere!" The masked hero challenged, a stern expression on the hero's face. The robbers turned towards him, pointing their weapons towards the masked freak--and with a simple gesture, the hero grabbed both guns with his hands, bending the barrels at impossible angles, rendering them useless. "W--what--who--?" One of them said, backing away, suddenly confused and bewildered at what just happened, and suddenly, the warrior introduced himself. A parade-like sequence of poses followed, as the disguised man introduced himself. "I am the defender of peace and upholder of justice!" he began, going through a routine that probably took years of intense training and practice to get right. ![]() "I suggest you give up on this dastardly deed and commit to an armistice!" He said, finishing his series of poses. ![]() "I AM THE GREAT SAIYAMAN!" the super hero declared, a legendary hero thought gone with the wind so long ago, standing amongst the people, returned from his unknown hiatus. Anju growled slightly to herself, as she continued towards the jewelry store being robbed. {These freaks have guns....last time I fought anyone using a gun, I had my bat. Rghhhh!!! This just pisses me off even more!!} She mentally ranted to herself. As if things couldn't get anything worse, the teen had to stop in her tracks when she could swear, a blur, a flash of something....green? blitzed past her and straight into the store. {W-....what the fuck was that?} She asked, frozen as her lower eye lid twitched a bit. Either that was someone in a giant lizard costume going to play hero, or it was just someone dressed in green....also going to play hero. {Oh wonderful....} She groaned mentally to herself. As if shit couldn't GET any worse. Still, equally unable to listen to the suffering of the people of her father's city, she sprinted after the strange blur, standing just behind the figure. A red cape was one of the first things she saw. And a strange helmet. It didn't take long before the champion of justice made himself known to the freaks robbing the place. The customers and workers even turning their heads slightly. The teen observed the scene before her with awe. {.....I didn't know there was a hero around these parts....much less one that decided to make this city theirs....to protect anyway. I kinda thought that was my job ya know?} The teen thought to herself. The hero before her only made one single swift movement, and judging from the way everyone in the place gasped in shock, it must've been that he rendered their pathetic weapons completely useless. {Dangit, I wanted some action too!} She thought then, but before the red head could move, her eyes widened. Not in horror, and not really even in surprise, more so in a comical fashion. This was due to the poses that followed along with the man's speech. Stunned into both physical, and mental silence, the girl just stood there, posed as though she were ready to rush in herself, even if only to land a good kick to the one who just so happened to bump into her and trample her cigarettes. She couldn't move. She wanted to laugh, but she quickly realized in some cases, she could equally be laughed at after her little stunt with Super Duper Man and a certain "Sailor Apricot", who had practically abandoned Hercule City. The teen blinked long, and hard, once the name of the hero hit her. {The....Great what the heck is he talking about more like???} She asked herself mentally, not at all catching onto the word play at hand. Finally, the teen decided instead of just standing there and watching, she could interact. After all, the bad guys might've been rendered useless at best, but if she knew the trouble makers as well as she thought she did, they likely still wouldn't go down without some sort of fight happening. "Uhm....Sorry to butt in, Mister Great Saiyaman or whatever, but...." She said, as she finally strutted through the door. "I think you need to watch and learn from a pro." She bragged, once she got into eyesight, she too, threw in her own pose. ![]() Posing with two of her fingers at eye level, opening them to reveal one of her eyes, she stared dead straight at the two knuckle heads who decided it was a smart idea to take things that didn't belong to them. "Listen here scumbags! You two picked the wrong city to mess with!" She declared, standing tall and proud, even without the heels. "And I'm sure neither of you have learned today's lesson, so allow me to repeat it, so listen up chuckleheads!" She crossed her arms then, her hair swaying elegantly with her movements, as though to compliment them. "Crime doesn't pay! And neither does impoliteness! Now unless you want to give up civilly, which I don't see that happening any time soon knowing how you delinquents act...." ![]() Another set of poses was displayed and performed, looking just as passionate as ever! "In the name of Gatz Haven, as the pretty soldier of Love, and Justice! I will right wrong's and TRIUMPH over evil!" She began her speech, her flow with each movement looking just as elegant as the last, with a determined glare towards their opponents, the unknown thought to be civilian finished her speech by pointing straight at them both. "And that~ means you!" She said, with an air of playfulness in her voice. After her obvious display of over confidence, the teen seemed all the more eager to rub salt into the two 'villain's ruined egos, flipping her short red locks back with a smirk. "And that, is how you make an entrance." She said, this time addressing the hero of the day, with a cheeky grin on her face. Seeming to ignore the two punching bags she had set out to break in for the time being. "Well, you two knuckleheads want to give up quietly? I can hear the sirens~!" She teased the two thieves with a cackle, not at all viewing them as a threat. Although the teen looked to be having a very remarkable time, in comparision to 5 minutes earlier, the two thieves were seething with rage. Probably at the youth's display and harsh statements. On top of that, they were made a fool of by some freak dressed up like a Power Ranger's Reject. While their guns were useless, that didn't mean their fists weren't. 921 Words 5372 Characters Running Total 3041 Words 17460 Characters |

The hero stood there, quite proud and tall, his fists on his hips as he prepared himself to accept the surrender of these two hooligans. Already, a bit of a crowd was watching the erupting situation within the jewelry store, various people looking towards the goofy-dressed man that fancied himself a hero. Of course, some could recognize the name, but was this truly the real Saiyaman...? The masked hero pointed a finger towards the perpetrators, opening his mouth to say something, when all of a sudden, a voice spoke up from behind him, causing the masked hero to look over--and spotting a rather surprising sight. Red locks fell from her face down to her shoulders and back, her form coated in warm clothing, fitting for the weather. Aside from her stunning looks and rather fiery disposition, she seemed like a normal woman. But her arrival had the Great Saiyaman absolutely stunned-- Her spirit energy was... incredible! In the last week, he had met not one, but two people in this city was such high levels of power to them! Was this a weird coincidence, or was this something else entirely...? Not to mention the hero remembered the shopkeeper from earlier, asking about a red-haired girl... was this the girl he was talking about? Was she just another trouble maker? She stood in front row, telling the masked hero to watch and learn from a 'pro', despite the fact he had been doing this sort of thing for quite some time now--okay, maybe he was just a little rusty--but then she proceeded into her own introduction, going through her own speech and poses, the likes of which really, really impressed the masked warrior as he watched the woman complete her performance. He was left in awe. ![]() "That was..." he said, trying to find the right word for it, but his brain failed him. "...that was actually pretty good." He had to admit. She didn't have a costume or a super hero name, of course, but it was still a really good speech all the same. The grin on her face just seemed to complete her visage, rather impressing the masked hero. The Great Saiyaman laughed, putting his fists on his hips again before pointing at them as she did. "You heard her, evildoers! She may be young, but the spirit of JUSTICE resides within her heart! Two champions against two criminals, I daresay your odds are against you!" He finished. By this point, the thugs were quite fed up, the both of them charging forward with what probably passed for a battlecry. "Watch out, miss!" The Great Saiyaman said, ducking under the punch of one of the goons. Drat, the other one was going straight for the girl, just out of the masked hero's reach! He would have to incapacitate this one first, then! The masked hero slammed his knee into the off-balance thug, catching the wind out of the criminal's lungs before the Great Saiyaman chopped towards the back of the man's neck, incapacitating him by knocking the criminal unconscious! The hero then turned towards the other one, just in time to see if the red-haired girl had held her own! ((WC: 555)) ((TWC: 3430)) |

"Good? How about spectacular." Her grin only became wider then. Her hands also went to her hips, and it was clear from her body language just how much confidence this young teenager had. "So long as I can fight, I WILL protect this city!" She declared, and kept her eyes focused on the two trouble makers before them. Hearing the battle cry, she shook her head. "Sheesh, just as I predicted. Oh well....at least you can't complain. I did warn you!" She roared back, barely able to hear the Great Saiyaman's warning before one of the previously armed with a reliable fire arm thieves came straight for her. Instantly, the man was met with a damaging open palm strike to his collar bone. A loud and agonized shout escaping from him. If that weren't enough, the girl didn't just let up and offer mercy. She charged him back, much like a stubborn ram would, with a knee to his groin. Even if she was playing the hero, or in this case, side kick, it didn't mean she had to be bound by any rules. She could still fight just as dirty as she normally would. Although it still pissed her off that her precious baseball bat was actually missing out on this! The man went to his knees as the teen raised an eyebrow down at him, shaking her head. The previous armed thief, someone who had spooked the people of Gatz Haven, was now looking like nothing more then a pitiful smart ass. His buddy sure didn't look all that different. Both had rather easily been incapacitated. "Good thing I know I can still defend myself without you, batz" she muttered, shaking her head at the two knuckleheads. Once the customers were assured of their safety, both by the two would be heros, and by the fact that neither criminal bothered to sit up or even get up, they, and the crowd that had gathered just outside broke out into a loud amount of cheering. One would think if they hadn't just witnessed the shopping center getting robbed almost store to store, that a huge party was taking place. The teen wasn't exactly sure she could appreciate the attention right now. Not when her stupid thief of a brother was still somewhere within said shopping center. "Wish I'd gotten my hands on the thief I wanted to so desperately throttle....but I guess you two bums fit just as well. After all, you DID trample on my last pack of cigarettes." She grumbled to the two groaning morons, laying on the floor and otherwise simply waiting to be arrested. After she ensured that the two baddies were gonna sit still and stay put, she turned back to see the crowd that had gathered. However, her sights were only briefly set on the innocent people happily cheering for not one, but two heros within their great city. Once she had taken in the attention they had pulled in, her bright eyes turned to the true hero of the day. Who she immediately offered a high five upon ensuring that the citizens of Gatz Haven were once again safe and sound! "Job well done Mister Great Saiyaman!" She cheered, giving a thumbs up as well. "Just, you know, work a little on the poses. Put some more passion in there, let the justice flow out of you." She advised, as the teen made her exit then. "And hey!" She called out after, over her shoulder. "I hope you plan to stick around Great Saiyaman! Maybe we'll cross paths again!" She cheered, waving at the man before disappearing into the crowd that then began to swarm the remaining hero, The Great Saiyaman. 619 Words 3665 Characters Running Total 3660 Words 21125 Characters |
