Tien had traversed the dangerous Mt. Paozu, and had arrived at a city named after the world martial arts champion himself Hercule. Tien couldn't believe that the coward had depicted them as inferior warriors, when he himself was. Tien’s body was wrapped in garments to hide his third eye from the people around him. Walking past an electronic store he would hear the shouts of an individual, Help! He took all my money, and is holding my little girl hostage! Tien couldn't bare the thought of someone being hurt if there was something that he could do to help. Walking into the store he would notice that one of the robbers had a little girl held at gunpoint. The robber would stare at the robed warrior, his body shaking either from the adrenaline of the event or from his fear. Back off man, I will kill her. Dont you dare take another step or I will kill this little broad.

Tien would raise his hands in the air as if he was surrendering to the demands of the robber. This would set the robber at ease allowing some of the tension to release as well as the aim on the girl. The triclops would vanish in the blink of an eye capitalizing on the mistake of the misguided youth. As Tien would re-appear beside the robber holding his gun in his hand, Guns are for cowards, you are walking down a dark path. If I hadn't been here you would have probably killed this girl or got killed yourself. Life is too short to throw away at the slightest whim, go home, learn from your mistakes.Dont let me catch you doing such foolishness again, Do you understand? Tien would mutter to the teenage male as he crushed the handgun with his vice-grip like hands. The robbers eyes would nearly bulged out of his head seeing his gun crushed. He would then run out of the store as fast as he could.

The store owner would walk in, and would make his way to his daughter pulling her into a mighty hug ensuring her of his love. He would then turn his attention to the robed warrior, and would mutter, You saved my daughter there must be something that I can do to repay you. Tien would then make his way to the door, and would smile at the owner, Repayment isn't needed, I am the protector of the needy, and the defender of the weak. Things like this is just part of the reason why I train. Goodbye. The warrior would vanish through the entryway of the door, and would make his way to a park in the depth of the city. Sitting beneath a tree he would begin to meditate, but his attempt was broken by the sound of a familiar voice, There he is boys, the one that stopped me from robbing that joint.

Tien would rise to his feet looking at what appeared to be a gang full of thugs with the kid that he had attempted to embed wisdom into. Child, you have not only neglected to heed my words, but you have also lost my respect. The young boy would smirk, Kill him boys! The men had then charged after him each of them holding weapons in their hands which could cause serious bodily harm to a normal person, but unlucky for them he wasn't normal. Tien would undo his robe, and would toss it to the ground revealing his third eye. I was hoping to avoid conflict, but I guess that is shot. I hope you all survive this, I will go easy on you. One of the men would attempt to hit the triclops in the head with a crowbar, but Tien easily sidestepped it drilling a powerful punch to his face. Two more warriors armed with pistols would then shoot at the warrior. Tien would vanish, and appear behind them smashing their heads into one another. Another warrior would go after him with a baseball bat, Tien would high kick through the bat treading his foot on the thugs face.

After cleaning up with a few more of the enemies that had came after him, all that remained was the punk that held the little girl at gun point. Tien would slowly begin to walk towards him, a sense of rage was beginning to overtake his body. He had given this child the opportunity to grow in the right direction, and yet he would rather rot in the pot. Child, fear not I will not kill you. However, I must teach you a lesson! Tien would disarm the child in a blink of the eye, quickly punching the child in the stomach doubling him over unconscious. Lifting the child up on his shoulder he would transport him to the police station. This kid is the one responsible for the armed robbery of the electronics store. He would give an encouraging glance to the kid as he walked out of the police precinct.

Tien was reminded through all of the reckless violence that the child was going through his own childhood. Where he had hurt countless individuals for nothing but a ruthless sense of self entitlement. His old master Shen had taught him martial arts, but the evil side of it. Master Shen's brother Mercenary Tao had taught him defensive martial arts. Tao was a ruthless killer who Tien had once worshiped. He felt a sense of pain seeing young children making the same bad decisions that he had once made. Tien made his way to the edge of town, There is still a lot of evil present here in Hercule City, I wish there was more I could do. Maybe the one small seed of hope I planet will blossom, and multiply.
