Brick wasn't one hundred percentage sure what had just happened. One moment he was in front of the commander of the Saiyan Army, Nappa, poking fun at his emotional state, making jokes. The next moment and the Prince of all saiyans, Vegeta reared his head into Brick's path and decided to for whatever reason to attack the young orphan saiyan. And the very next, Brick was standing some sort of line. Brick had to blink several times as he couldn't seemed to grasp the reality of the situation. Am I dead? No, perhaps I'm dreaming. Maybe I need a Nappa! Brick thought to himself, chuckling silently to his little jab at Nappa. Brick wasn't sure where he was as he continued to aimlessly walk in the straight line he had been following for the past few hours. Brick looked around but all he could seen were fluffy yellow clouds and a big building off in the distant. On top of that, there were these strange white cloud-like things in the front and behind of him. They seem to be some sort of strange species that Brick had never seen before. Brick had to be dreaming. Only his mind would come up with such a bizarre scene. Brick continued to walk the path laid before him as he got closer and closer to the enormous building in the distant. Seriously, where am I? And when will I wake up? Hey, where's Thunda Fizz? That proves it, I must be dreaming! Brick continued to think internally. The time continued to tick on by as Brick for whatever reason decided to keep marching forward on the path in front of him till finally he was walking inside the building he had spotted earlier. "Next!" came a voice to Brick's left. Brick wasn't sure who said that as he looked around and didn't see anyone. "I said next! Come on, we got a lot of people checking in, let's not waste time, shall we?" Brick turned to where he heard the voice and was caught by surprise. Brick had to blink and rub his eyes as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Man, I'm having one messed up dream. I'm dreaming about blue-skinned men with horns on their heads! Brick thought. "You there, I'm talking to you, step forward and stand before King Yamma. We got many more people to check-in other than you, you know?" the horned blue man said, directing his words to Brick. Brick cocked his head to the side and scratched the back of his skull, puzzled by what he had "dreamt" up. "Man, I really should lay off the coffee," Brick said quietly. "Are you talking to me?" Brick asked, pointing to his chest as he looked at the horned blue man. "Yes, I'm talking to you. Step forward, so King Yamma can assign you to your appropriate destination," the blue-skinned horned man answered. "Who's King Yamma? And more importantly, who are you?" Brick asked, still lost in a fog. "In fact where am I? This isn't the typical kind of dreams I usually have? Where's the dancing monkey that usually pops up in my dreams. He usually shows up right about now." "Sir, there are no dancing monkeys in King Yamma's check-in station. So if you will kindly step forward and let King Yamma assign you to your destination, we can move things along." "Check-in station?" Brick asked with a raised eyebrow, "Exactly what am I being checked in to?" "Well depending on how good or bad you were when you were alive, either heaven or hell." Brick nearly collapsed to the ground as if he had been caught in a drive-by and had dozens of bullets spraying his entire body. "HEAVEN OR HELL?!?" Brick cried out as his eyes almost popped right out of his face while his jaw dropped to the floor. "You mean I'm...I'm actually dead?!? You mean I'm not dreaming?!? This is real?!?" "I'm afraid it as real as it gets. Now please let's not waste anymore time shall we." Brick's throat instantly went dry as his stomach felt like it was knotted up in a million places. I'm dead. Vegeta actually killed me! I wasn't dreaming! Brick thought as he couldn't quite comprehend or accept his fate. That bastard killed me! Vegeta killed me...Hey, wait a minute...Vegeta killed me...Vegeta noticed me...Vegeta noticed little old me!...I must be a somebody if Vegeta felt the need to kill me...Oh my god, I'm like a legend now or something...man, imagine that...one month ago, I hardly knew anything about my past...and now I'm in the Other World because Vegeta felt motivated for whatever reason to rid the world of me! As Brick continued to rationalize his situation, Brick took a step forward, standing in front of the incredibly gigantic desk of King Yamma's. WC: 800 |
