It had been a while after the duo requested some time on their own from Piccolo to let his words sink in. What a mountainsized load they had to swallow right now! Not wanting to hurt their baby brother or make him worry, at least Drum made a mumbled stuttering promise not to harm these worms until they would meet again. Things you do for your familys wellfare.

Thanks to his flying brother it wasn't too hard to get out of that sandy desert. The way they were on lead right onto a mountain with some woods on it and where woods were there was water! "Hooray! Finally no more sand between my toes." was it coming from Drum rather happily as he dashed into the more solid terrain. He followed his nose to try and find something edible on the trees or bushes. Maybe a small animal that they could prepare. The ogrish mutant wrapped his arms around all he could find placing it on him while searching further. In the end he had one pocket filled with a bunch of apples from a high tree, a nest with a couple of eggs that resided on his head and a knocked out rabbit in each of his claws.

This could at least partially fill their bellies and would no doubt help to think about how to put Piccolos words to the test. Drum intended to do so since to him it seemed a bizarre concept. BUT if by any chance their brother was right...what did they do then in the past? This doubt in their way of living really ate on Drum and the green lizardman hoped to rid himself off that nasty feeling that made his tummy growl. This clearance might also help with their next meeting with their baby brother! Finally they might then be able to talk eye to eye again with smiles on their faces.

While greed made the belly bearing emerald guy comb through these woods a bit further, he stumbled upon something that made him stop in his tracks. It was something both brothers had deemed to be nothing but lifestock until now. It seemed alone and not too happy with what was going on. Being more used to being mean the face of the ogrish fiend was less than friendly as he spotted the solitary girl. He just stared at the little thing, not a shred of pitty in his look. "What're you doing here?" he asked cold while clenching the rabbits ears. The promise still was in his head and so Drum intended to keep it. Looking down on her, the mutant namekian stepped out of the bushes and waved one of these hares like a flag to signal Tambourine to land.

"Hey big brother, I think we found something here. Could you come down and take a look? Better we talk about what to do with it...its one of them. One of Piccolos family I guess. Seems as if its alone." he yelled up in a rather neutral tone. The confusion about baby bros words still was fresh and whatever they would do needed to be discussed carefully. While waiting for Tambourine, Drum would put all of what he found on one pile topping it with the nest so the eggs wouldn't fall out. It helped to get his mind off the issue for a second.

"Indeed, little brother. I am just as glad to be out of that accursed desert as you are" came the hissing voice of the second eldest of Demon King Piccolo's offspring. They had shortly thereafter left their baby brother to his devices while they went off to think over the things that their youngest sibling had told them. Tambourine was just as shocked at Piccolo's declaration, of these wretched Earthlings being his family. After all, in Tambourine's mind, he saw them as utterly worthless, their only use being for eating, in Drum's case, and killing in Tambourine's case, nothing more than cattle.

Tambourine himself had partaken in the murder of many numerous Martial Artists, a plan devised by their Father King Piccolo for the sake of ensuring that none of the potentially powerful foes could learn the Evil Containment Wave. Tambourine had done his job with maniacal glee, killing them in a remorseless, bloodthirsty fashion, and taking a great delight in such an act. That was all Earthlings were useful for in Tambourine's mind, livestock that existed for the sole purpose of slaughtering and ruling over. For someone like him, their baby brother's words had shocked him right to the core.

After a while, Drum proceeded to speed up ahead, and appeared to have found something. He said to Tambourine that he had found of the things that their baby brother had seen as family. Narrowing his beady, cold black eyes, the gargoyle-like Namekian took to the air and quickly flew to the location that Drum had indicated. When he got there, he landed softly on the ground and stared down at the little girl that appeared to be all alone. Tambourine's facial expression was etched into a frown, wondering why this little brat was all by herself, with no one around. It was easy for Tambourine to tell that she wasn't a fighter of some kind.

"You heard my little brother, girl. I suggest you speak up and tell us your reason for being out here all by yourself. We're a bit ornery right now, and the last thing you want to do is get on our nerves by not answering our questions" Tambourine hissed out in a forceful tone, the cold chill of the way he addressed just as frosty as his little brother's. Tambourine wasn't very amicable when he was confused, and if this child didn't comply, he might wind up doing something drastic.

The orphan child sniffled and flinched a bit at the sight of the ogre-like and gargoyle-like Mutant Namekians. Thankfully for the both of them, this little girl was born way after Demon King Piccolo and his sons' reign of terror was well-known. King Piccolo and his sons were all but forgotten. So, all this little girl knew was that they were unknown creatures, most definitely not Humans of any kind. Shivering a bit, the rag-wearing girl spoke up quietly, too quiet for normal Human ears to pick up. However, Tambourine and Drum were Namekians, albeit mutated versions, so they possessed sharp enough hearing to hear what she said quite clearly.

"I'm homeless, Misters. My mommy and daddy were killed by a T-Rex when I was much younger, and I don't have anyone else. Since we lived out here in the country, no one knew about it, so I had been barely living out here, barely surviving by learning how to hunt" came the quiet, afraid, timid voice of the girl. The tone of voice the girl gave the indication that this was someone that had no one to care about, and absolutely nothing to live for. This was a child that had no family, no friends, or loved ones of any kind. She was, essentially, forgotten and alone.

Tambourine, upon hearing this, blinked his beady black eyes in surprise, honestly caught off-guard by the story of this girl in front of the two Mutant Nameks.

The harsh tone against the tiny human in dirty clothes his brother had calmed Drums confusion a little and made the ogrish green guy change his rather tight face to the same kind of smirk his older brother had. At least this kind of picking on humans was something more familiar to him than the hard thoughts about his younger brothers past. It actually helped thinking that things hadn't changed.

Instead of jerking tears, Drum kept his mood up even while looking at these trembling green blue puppy eyes and hearing that sad voice that may make normal human parents feel sympathy. Those sentiments from one other than his own meant still relatively nothing. If Piccolo hadn't approached them at Namu Village who knows what they had done to her but now, at least her life was safe. Her story though did the rest as Drum could feel some paralelles to their baby brothers fate, even though it was no T-Rex but a monkey child that killed his father.

While it was tough to keep track of her words, a groan came from the wide built mutant. "Duuh, you sure could speak up a little louder. Its hard to hear your tiny voice if all you do is mumble and whisper." was his rather plump answer to her words but at least the cruel cold had vanished leaving it a neutral tone of voice. "Weeell, at least it wasn't us who did this mess. We promised our brother not to harm any of you worms, you know?" unintentionally he left out that they already did try to harm others but that wasn't all that important right now. Still, it was interesting that she didn't run even though she faced two monsters.

Quite some things went through Drums head at that moment. He intended to keep his promise but not harming and making fun of were two different things. He grinned to his brother first and tried to see what he would think of his idea. "Man, that story sure sounds lots alike what baby brother had described. I wonder if this could be one of those he mentioned. Still, the way she is right now theres no talking to her. I don't wanna have to concentrate to catch a word...what do you say if we show her a little trick?" there was a little mean grin on the ogrish fellows face when he asked Tambourine about his opinion. After all if they wanted to test Piccolos experiences they had to talk to these pests. The poor girl just happened to be the first single human in their path, whatever this would mean for her.

If his older brother would get the point and approve of it, the emerald colored lizardman would bend down a bit to the girl with a wide, mischievous grin and point at himself with both index fingers. "Just look here...now you see me..." Drum knew of his speed so he tried to use it to let her loose sight of him, making a quick half lap around the young blonde. Maybe getting the point that they really wouldn't harm her could get her to speak more confidently and on the way it would be fun to play the one or other prank on her. So, once he arrived there he softly poked one of his claws to her back and yelled "BOOO" followed by some chuckles.

He gave her some moments to realize what happened before his grin returned. "See? As I said, no harm done, scrawny little thing. If we wanted to do something it would already have happened. We stay to our promises." showing her his unarmed palms his voice now had a little amusement in it. "By the way, why didn't you try to get to one of those villages? There have to be some around here or am I wrong?" sure, Piccolo was different from earthlings but she...if these pests really were as affectionate as baby bro told they should have taken her in.

Tambourine stare down silently at the rag-wearing human, his expression fairly neutral as he absorbed the information into his head. So, this little girl was like their Baby Brother in a way, at least in terms of his past. Much like Piccolo, she had no idea, she was all alone, with no one around to care, to either adapt and learn to live, or to die alone and uncared for. How surprisingly similar was this girl's past to Tambourine and Drum's baby brother. Had Tambourine been a better person than he was, he might have felt some pity. As it was, he didn't particularly care that much.

"Hmph, I agree. Even if it is easy to hear her, thanks to our superior hearing, it is a tad bit annoying that you're so meek it requires us to actually pay attention" Tambourine hissed out an annoying manner, his gargoyle-like face scrunching up in annoyance over the timid, rag-wearing brat that couldn't even be bothered to speak up to them in a clear manner. While Tambourine could be considered being a tad bit harsh, much like his little brother Drum was being, in the eyes of others, at least they weren't attempting to kill her in Tambourine's case, or attempting to eat her in Drum's case.

Tambourine hissed in annoyance a bit more over Drum's sort-of reminder that they had decided not to kill anyone for now so they could scope out the wretched cattle here on this planet and see if they can prove that their baby brother was right or wrong, whether these humans had the capacity to understand feelings and familial bonds like King Piccolo and his Demon Clan could, or if they were all exactly as their Father had thought them to be. Perhaps this little girl in front of them would be the test.

Watching his brother for a moment, Drum proceeded to whisper something about how it sounded a lot like what Piccolo had said, about how there were people on this wretched planet that understood things like familial bonds, and loyalty as well. Tambourine narrowed his eyes, mentally agreeing with Drum, and a menacing grin slithered onto his face when Drum had suggested the idea of showing the girl a little trick to teach her how to speak up more. Oh, he had a feeling that this was gonna be quite a show, so Tambourine nodded his head in agreement.

The orphan girl swallowed nervously and concentrated on Drum when he got her attention. Seeing him in front of her for a moment, she blinked in surprise when he suddenly disappeared, and then she felt herself get poked in the back, with someone shouting boo at the top of their lungs at her. Letting out a little screech, she jumped into the air very quickly like a miniature rocket, before flopping face-first into the grass, and scrambled back to her feet after skirting away from Drum, a hot red blush appearing on her face over the incident that took place.

Meanwhile, Tambourine proceeded to let out a bit of cruel laughter, finding genuine amusement in how the girl practically jumped out of her skin, and then proceeded to faceplant right into the ground. He allowed the amusement to take hold of him, and willingly let the laughter escape from him for a moment. After a while, though, he got control of himself, and slowly calmed himself down. He then spoke up to the girl with narrowed eyes. "There, you see girl? That wasn't so hard. What's your name, brat?" the second eldest child of Demon King Piccolo proceeded to ask the little girl.

Appearing a little shaken over what had just happened, but appearing a bit more lively, she spoke up. "Ah, well, it's actually been such a long time since I've heard my name or even used it, that I forgot what it was, to be honest. What are your names, Misters?" the nameless orphan girl asked Tambourine and Drum in a much clearer, louder voice level than she did the first time she spoke up to them. Tambourine grinned in amusement over the new voice level the girl was using, smirking at Drum over the girl's head in an impressed manner.

"No name, eh? Well, that's too bad. Perhaps that might change. As for who we are, I am Tambourine, and this is my little brother. It would be rude of me introduce him for him, so I'll give him the courtesy of introducing himself to you, girl" Tambourine hissed out to the orphan girl, pointing to Drum when he said that the rotund, burly, ogre-like Mutant Namek was his little brother. The girl reacted rather amusingly, looking back and forth between Drum and Tambourine, looking very puzzled. It was very obvious what she was thinking. She seemed to be wondering how Drum was considered the little brother instead of Tambourine.

Drum did feel a bit weird inside over her story but couldn't put a finger on what it was. Thanks to his much too early death he did feel a tad more compassionate about it than his older brother. Sure, as a killer and agent it was clear for Tambourine being much more used to cruel fates than the mere fighter with one rival that the massive younger brother was. Seeing the mood his annoyed brother was in made Drum speed up his plan a little, knowing it would amuse both of them to see the girl shaking in her boots even if it only was for a moment.

Yeah, actually to keep their word to the youngest member of their family Drum had been clear this reminder was neccessary. Not wanting Tambourine to break his word with an uncalled for mood swing he answered the annoyed hiss with a goofy grin on his small wide face, scratching the back of his head.

Knowing what he would do it was hard for Drum to keep his face from distorting. Seeing this fragile little vermin staring at him in the way she did made it fun to imagine how the blond kid would react to his little prank. The giggles coming from the ogrish mutant were actually restraint laughter but he did try on holding it back for once. It made him puff and blow a little but that was okay, at least in his eyes.

Normal people might have helped the lonely little one up, maybe give her a hug but Drum only stood there with half a grimace while his brother showed too how amused he was about that failed landing. It was clear both still had a lot to learn about how to socialize in a good way. What did look totally different from any face Drum knew was that red tone over her cheeks. It made him lift an eyebrow in curiousity watching her getting to a distance to the two brothers.

Obviously his trick had worked and now their company was able to push her fear aside a little even if it seemed she decided to avoid Drum for now. Hearing she even forgot her own name made him think of her as a bit silly. Humans didn't live as long as their kind. She should be able to remember at least that much! "My name is Drum. Funny thing is I might even be younger than you. If I only count up here I'm just a few days old." he introduced himself giving her a victory sign with one of his hand. The rest of his short speech was just to enjoy her baffled face a bit longer since she definately had a problem with the thought about namekian offsprings. "Say, what do you think of it if we call you Lute? I think it would be annoying not to have anything to call you. Don't you agree big bro?" It just had been a hunch but at least he wanted someone to have around to have a name. Drum also thought that it might help to keep Tambourine from getting a mood swing against her.

All that guessing and trying only helped making the hulking mutant hungrier and so, after implying the name the growl a grizzly would have been proud of appeared from his stomache. "Ah, I guess we continue to talk later. How about we dig in first? Two of these little rabbits from here and even some birdy eggs are waiting to be guzzled down. Bet your hungry too, right?" the last question was more meant for Tambourine but right now it could be mistaken to be directed at their company. Drums face switched between the two since he wondered what else he should say. It was a kind of weird situation for him since until now he never thought of idle talk with these earthlings. Trashtalk during a fight surely was easier and went more fluidly over the tongue than this.

The orphan girl, upon hearing that Drum was technically much younger than her, had proceeded to look up at Drum in awe, complete with wide eyes. She was honestly shocked that someone that was apparently so much younger was so large and intimidating. "Wow" was the only thing she could say as she looked up at the large, burly, rotund ogre-like Mutant Namek in front of her. Due to the fact that King Piccolo had been mostly forgotten by the world, she had no idea why or how someone like Drum got to be so big in so little time.

Upon hearing that Drum was giving her a name, the orphan girl's eyes lit up in glee. She nodded her head excitedly in agreement, accepting the name of Lute. With that name officially being given out to her, the girl was then on dubbed Lute. The girl's excitement would have been very contagious normally, but considering the two beings in front of her were offspring of the Demon King Piccolo mutated by the evil nature of their Father, it most likely wasn't going to infect Tambourine and Drum. It might affect Drum, but it would most certainly affect Tambourine less than it would Drum.

"I would like that very much, Mr. Drum" she said excitedly as she visibly bounced up and down on the balls of her feet. The enthusiasm would be very infectious to most people, but this was Tambourine and Drum, so the chances of that happening was very slim, if not outright non-existent. Tambourine analyzed the girl as she jumped up and down in an excited manner, finding her excitement over such a little thing like being given a name a little bit amusing, though he never expressed it on his face. As it was, he maintained a neutral look on his face.

"While I agree giving her a name so we could refer to her as something would be preferred, naming her after an instrument like our father did with us and our other siblings seem a bit much, don't you think, Brother? However, I won't complain, as it seems having any kind of name seems to have filled the brat with quite a bit of joy" Tambourine hissed out at Drum in response as he stared down at the rag-wearing child that was, obviously, very happy to have any name. So, as a result of that, Tambourine didn't complain too much.

In response to Drum's suggestion that they start eating, the rag-wearing orphan's stomach chose to spoke up at that time, making a loud growl that Tambourine and Drum didn't need superior hearing to pick up on. Lute's response was to have another embarrassed blush appear on her face. "Yeah, I would like that very much, Mr. Drum" she said with a happy nod of her head, looking very hungry when Drum suggested that they dig in to the morsels that they had. Tambourine couldn't resist smirking a bit in amusement over the whole ordeal that was going on.

"Well then, little brother, that sounds like an endorsement to me. Let's not wait for too long" Tambourine hissed out to Drum as he quickly gathered the materials to make a good firepit. "Watch this, kid. Soumasen" he hissed out as he fired one of their father's Energy Techniques, a pair of Eye Lasers, out of his eyes and at the sticks surrounded by the circle of rocks, causing them to light up. The girl's eyes, upon seeing the usage of the Soumasen, had lit up in excitement, and she even let out a little 'Woah' in genuine awe, which had caused Tambourine to smirk a bit, finally lighting up a bit on the girl.

Yes, that big eyed unbelieving look was something Drum already knew from others. Tien Shin Han had it when he started to fight the plump looking but very agile and fast ogrish mutant namek. The problem was it felt different. The emerald guy couldn't put his finger on it but the girl didn't seem frightened or desperate to him hearing the facts he given but more like she just was gawking. Obviously giving her that little shock worked off most of her fear. Proud of the fact that he was so much more than Lute Drum gave himself some slaps on the belly and laugh...not in a intimidating way but more to himself at that moment.

His amusement ended when he saw the weird face the blonde with these green blue puppy dog eyes made after Drum just asked if she'd like to have a name to be called by. The reaction was a bit much for something that by now only benefitted Tambourine and him since now this girl could be called in a non annoying way. Therefore a mix of surprise and the leftovers from his earlier pride in his stature stood on his face as he scratched his head, wondering about it.

The up and down luffing she did also seemed a little out of place. Weird...did she want to jump? Maybe she wanted up for something? Drum never had seen something like this and his eyes followed her movements like those of a cat following a rolling ball of wool. Was this girl sick? No. It started just after he named her so Drum felt like clearing this possibility. It was really hard to put up with non damaging things with these frail creatures for interaction. Finally the burly anthro lizard with elf ears took a deep breath and tried picking the girl up. Not like a father, not like a little puppy...more like something you'd like to avoid. His arms were stretched out as he held Lute in front of himself on eye level not really knowing what to do now. "Uhm...that better? You seemed to want up to somewhere..." he stated a bit lost.

Holding Lute like this below her arms Drum listened to his brothers words and it was true. This girl now had a name like one of their own. Confused he looked from one to another. This was something he didn't think about. The emerald green dude just took the first name that had come to his mind. In the already confused state they were obviously not the best decision. "Sorry, big bro...it was the first name popping up in my head. No wonder she likes it then. Its from our supperior kind." after trying to explain his choice something else came to his mind. This was probably the first time he actually thought of one of these vermins names. Sure, Nam had one since he was for his kind a superior fighter. Also, with just 3 letters it wasn't all that impressive.

"Heh, maybe the name will help to make the little worm worth bearing it. Uh...bad habit...I meant Lute. Guess I leave other important stuff about her to you now, Tambourine." not wanting another lecture, the hulking mutant reached his arms to his brother to hand over the frail little being in rags. Not cause Lute was heavy but to pass over the responsibility for now like in a game of chinese whispers. "Weeell, guess then we eat. I'm starving! What we procured in Namu Village was a good start but I still am hungry as hell." there had been no need to say it but there was no doubt it was true plus the tiny hand over package also showed a growling interest.

It really surprised Drum that Tambourine got so touchy with her showing off his skills in how to make a fire. Maybe he thought the girl might learn something of it? In that case, the big green fellow didn't want to be left out. "Ah, thats nothing..." he took one of the rabbits on the ears up and placed his claw open in front of the body. "Bimurei!" he said softly, concentrating the energy carefully from his center all the way to his finger tips where a rain of small electric bolts sprung out at the dead morsel roasting it from head to toe. "Our father told us how to use these but normally we take advantage of it in battle. With enough energy used those can hurt quite a bit." he briefly explained seeing the same expression on the girl as earlier.

While the sweet smell of roasting flesh spread over the area, Drum had not forgotten about the weird color change these earthlings could have. It felt a little embarrassing having to ask about this detail but he was curious. Drum didn't know why but there was something to that expression he liked. "Say Lute...why do you pump that weird red stuff to your face?" he asked slowly since he still needed to concentrate on the task of preparing the rabbit.

In response to Drum apologizing, Tambourine let out a hiss. "It's alright, Drum, don't worry about it. Too late to change it, anyway, because it look like the brat won't be quite so quick to discard the name she was given, considering how...joyful she appears to be" Tambourine hissed out at Drum, his irritation going away when his little brother apologized. He couldn't stay mad, or even slightly irritated, at any of his brothers, because they were family, and family never stayed mad or angry at each other, no matter what their opinions may be on a certain subject or two.

Lute blushed a bit when Drum picked her up and held her at arms length away from him. She noted the confusion on Drum's face when he picked her up, which only confused her. It seemed to her that he had no idea on how to hold someone, or anything like that. It was a little weird, but then again, these two weren't exactly normal to begin with. While there were animal-based species on the planet, she didn't know of any that looked quite like these two, especially considering that Tambourine and Drum said they were brothers, even though aside from some similarities, they looked plenty different enough.

"Hmph, with her bearing a proud name of our clan, she better start being worth the name" was Tambourine's response as he was handed the girl, holding her at arms' length. He hid the disgust he felt towards actually touching a Human, but he still had his arms stretched out, because she she was particularly filthy and unwashed, not to mention she smelled a fair bit. Tambourine was irritated that he had to be amicable with the little brat, considering he hated Humans, but he remembered the promise he made to, at the very least, hold off on hurting them or harming them in any way.

Lute seemed rather content that she was being held by Tambourine, and what alarmed the winged Mutant Namek was that it appeared as if she was finding comfort in his touch, which inwardly disgusted the infamous Martial Artist killer. Examining her rag-clothed form for a moment, he curled his lips back in disgust, and placed her on the ground before pointing his finger at her for a moment, and then pointing at the morsel rabbit that had been prepared over the fire. "Go eat, brat" Tambourine hissed out at Lute, causing her to snap into action and take the rabbit, eating it eagerly.

Lute, after having saw the eye beams come from Tambourine, and Drum firing a blast of energy the cooked the morsel he had placed on the ground, had clapped excitedly, in awe of the abilities they displayed. Of course, this was no surprise at all to Tambourine, what with the fact that Ki was such a rare art, something only a few Earthlings knew about, both Human and Animal. So, to a girl, especially an orphaned one such as her, even their most basic Techniques would be seen as someone awe-inducing.

Lute, upon hearing Drum's question, blinked in confusion for a moment, wondering what he was talking about. After a moment, however, the orphan's eyes lit up in comprehension. "Ah, well Mr. Drum, that's called a blush. People like me tend to do that whenever we experience certain emotions, like when we're feeling embarrassed, angry or shy. That happens because the blood we have tends to rush rapidly to our faces" Lute explained, hiding her face in her hands during the explanation, since having to explain that kind of thing just embarrassed her even further, which Tambourine could clearly tell.

Tambourine found the explanation particularly amusing, but he was too busy staring at Lute's outfit in disgust, not liking how dirty and unkempt the girl looked. However, he kept silent for now, because Drum was busy conversing with her, and he didn't wish to interrupt them. Tambourine wasn't exactly the most sociable of King Piccolo's multiple children. That was more of up Piano and, of course, Piccolo Jr's alley. Drum, though, could potentially be considered amicable, not at all like Cymbal, Tambourine himself, and of course, their Father King Piccolo. If Drum wanted to converse with the little brat, fine, let him.

"Drum, we should get the brat out of those rags and into some decent clothes. You want to handle this, or should I?" Tambourine hissed out in an inquiring manner.

At least Drum had avoided to make his brother mad. He let out a breather while hearing Tambourine accepting his apology. The emerald mutant still didn't get why someone would be like Lute for just being given a name by some strangers, let alone how one could forget the one they already had. "Thanks brother. I really should have asked you first." Drum thanked a bit meek toward the more experienced and older one of the duo.

There it was again! That same expression that was kinda cute and still puzzling. Hopefully the little thing wasn't sick in the end. If it was it could be contageous. Other than his own skin what she wore felt kinda greasy, filthy and also stiff at some parts he touched. Not a really nice experience and it made the ogrish mutant namek think if these insects even washed themselves every now and then. There was something in the air that told him this might not be the case. After handing Lute over, he made sure to quickly rub off the feel on his pants before preparing the meal showing clearly he didn't like it by putting his tongue out with a frown. "Bah! Your all sticky and icky. Didn't anyone tell you how to wash yourself?" did it shoot out of his mouth rather straight.

At least Drum now knew he had done nothing wrong since the girl stopped hopping and while in his grasp said nothing negative nor showed an intent to go higher. He now just had to remember not to touch the morsel at a part he wanted to eat while cooking it, using his powers. Seeing how his older brother dealt with the girl in his hands as well as Tambourines first words showed that Piccolos words already had been proven right to a certain extend. Especially considering how his brother usually treated earthlings. "I'm proud of you, big brother." he commented meaningful to let Tambourine know how much it meant to him that he kept this promise.

When the rabbit was ready Drum just took its short tail between the fingers of one of his hands and started chomping away on it. "I omnomnom I give you half of it big bro. If you nomnom want you can pull out its legs. Really hits the spot!" he said not giving anything about table manners right now. Instead of that there was something ripening in his head. An idea that came of Piccolos told experiences as well as his older brothers words. If that Gohan kid could be taught to be worthy...maybe the same might go for Lute? It would be worth to be tested later once they had a full belly.

Listening carefully to Lutes explanation while chewing it got clearer now why it might have happened that the girl got these red fading spots in the face...even if she now hid hers. It made him even laugh a little. "HAHA...my bad. What a question...we only get sweatdrops at those feelings. Guess our skin is to thick to show it like yours. Say, you told earlier you survived by hunting...what would a tiny bug like you be able to hunt? Those rabbits were quite fast for your race. At least for those who can't fight." with this issue cleared he felt a bit loosened up and got a bit more talkative with their new pet. It may still have felt weird but it got a little better.

When Tambourine as well brought up the issue of how clean she may be Drum only could agree to his brothers words. "Yeah, you tell. No style in clothes and Lute is really filthy right now. I already thought about doing it but wanted to talk to you about that first." with his brother also seeming a bit more comfortable with the situation a bit of tension also left the younger one. At least he wouldn't have to worry much about even protecting Lute from Tambourine. Both brothers had kind of the same taste in clothing so the outcome might prove the same but this could prove to be fun for a little game. "How about we play Rock Paper Scissors and the winner decides who does it?" he asked definately being able to forget a bit of the confusion they had been put through by Piccolo.

"Hmph, don't worry about it. It's too late now, as I doubt we're gonna be able to convince the little brat to accept a different name" Tambourine hissed out at Drum, obviously a bit irritated by the situation. However, Tambourine wasn't going to hold it against his little brother, considering that, unlike Tambourine, Drum didn't really have all that much experience with Human names. he had interacted with, at most, two Earthlings during his time, that accursed monkey brat Son Goku, and the tri-clops Tien Shinhan. So, as a result of that knowledge, Tambourine wouldn't get too angry or irritated with him.

Drum had made the comment for Tambourine in regards to how the orphan girl was so sticky and icky. Tambourine had noticed the lack of cleanness the brat had going on, and Tambourine was wondering how long she had gone without a bath. Considering she was out here in the harsh wilderness, apparently far away from home, he believed that she must have gone a long time without a shower or bath of any kind. It was logical, really, considering this girl had been orphaned, far away from where her home was, and judging the state of her clothes, had been out in the wild for a long time.

The girl that now had the name Lute, blushed in embarrassment once again when her lack of hygiene was brought up. "The soap and shampoo my parents had bought me before they died ran out a long time ago, and I also do not have anything to dry off with, so if I bathed at all, I would get sick before I fully dried off, considering that nights out here can get pretty cold" the orphan girl who forgot her old name said to Drum and Tambourine, scratching the back of her head in an embarrassed manner.

Tambourine, upon hearing this, let out a 'tch' sound of annoyance, though, if he were quite honest with himself, she was far from the dirtiest person he had ever met. There was that one 'Martial Artist', and he used the term loosely, by the name of Bacterian that he had killed. Now HE was the dirtiest, smelliest person he had ever met AND killed. Tambourine supposed using foul odor and the like was a unique tactic, but the fact that he was just a fat, worthless slob with no skill immediately destroyed any potential chance that Bacterian could have had against ANY opponent.

The Mutant Namek had heard the words of his little brother Drum, and Tambourine had guessed Drum was referring to the fact that when he handed over the little girl to Tambourine, the second eldest child of King Piccolo had kept his promise to their baby brother and had not attacked or harmed the girl in anyway. Hearing this softened up the gargoyle-like Namekian a bit, enough that he put the girl down softly, patting her scraggly, unwashed-haired head in what he thought was a comforting manner, and proceeded to dig into the morsel that Drum had offered him, tossing the girl's own morsel so she could eat as well.

Eventually, the eating came to an end, and Drum had suggested that they play Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who was the person that would fix her up. Tambourine thought about it for a moment, and eventually nodded his head silently in agreement, having no problem with it. While he still wasn't that fond of the brat, so far, she had been proving him wrong by not being like all the other Earthlings that their King Piccolo had thought her kind to be like.

"Very well then, Drum, that's a fair idea" he hissed out at Drum with a nod of his head as he turned to face his little brother, making sure to have finished off the portion of the meal that Drum had offered him. Narrowing his eyes a bit in what others could describe as an intense manner, he thrusted his balled fist out in front of him, waiting for his Brother to do the same, so their game of Jan-Ken-Pan could begin. He was determined to get this out of the way so that they could fix the girl up right quick, what with her stench starting to get on his nerves.
