Role-playing Role playing is The act of putting oneself in another person's position to see his or her point of view in a situation. What this means is that you must be IN CHARACTER at all times with in the rpg... other then in the Off-Topic boards. This is pretty simple if you know Dragonball Z (Which you should since your in this rpg...) A good example is if you are Piccolo... your not going to be drinking buddies with Goku or anyone for that matter. If you stray from your characters personality or likeness you will be told about it. Any off-topic nonsense done otherwise in the rpg will not be tolerated so don't do it. Power gaming or being "god" and "Auto-hits* is not tolerated in this rpg. You must take hits when you are attacked and you never say your attacks hit unless you are sure it will hit..... This is a role-playing game it has to look realistic. An example of a simple good role-play
A bad example would be and is not correct would be
When you spar or battle you role play as well. Writing out your attacks and or techniques while you post will make you look good and also make the spar look good. Anything with bad grammar or its not even a clear sentence will also not be tolerated since it looks like you have no intelligence and just looks plain bad. Clearly you want to see Example:
and not garbage like Bad Example:
HUGE difference and I could of even got more descriptive then that. It makes a big difference and it also makes your spar look better. Of course in a battle after you do your attack you would list the amount of damage you are doing. If you must and I mean MUST tell someone something that’s not in your character please put OOC: before it. It tells the reader and the person you sparing or battling it has nothing to do with your actions and you just want to say something to someone. Quoting in Role-plays/Actions Okay this is pretty simple since a lot of us like doing them. You can put in a phrase or talk to the person you are sparing such as trash talk or a compliment. When you do quoting you must ALWAYS be in character… When you talk to a fighter you always do “ “ at each end of the sentence or sentences your speaking to that fighter. You then can do something after the quotations such as I say or I yell or I say as I power up ready to fight ……whatever you do as a role-play just make sure it sounds good. Example:
When you are landing or doing a specific thing such as powering up or attacking you put your actions in ** which means that you are doing something other then talking to your opponent or sparring partner. Example1:
Example2:
