![]() A blue eyed, silver haired man wearing a blue embroiled trench coat and a black top hat sat calmly inside the transport vehicle. The vehicle stopped which meant he had to get out and make his presence matter. He was assigned to arrive to the scene to keep the peace. He heard about the situation from his superiors, and he even knew about Troy's betrayal. He was well informed, but he was sworn to secrecy since this field exam was always torturous and brutal for all students. He remembered how painful his field exam was. It was why he sympathized especially when it concerned a loved one. Since he was captain of a squad, he would have to lead the duo from the horror they were placed in. Not to mention, the higher ups wanted to see if Estrella and Seifer were able to handle the rat alone. Knowing Seifer and his violent reputation, the situation was guaranteed to escalate into an uncontrollable one. His experience in handling messy dilemmas was why he was there. The driver stopped and looked over at the Captain who sat next to him. "Captain, we are here. They are waiting outside for us." He said respectfully. The Captain's hand placed upon the young driver's shoulder. "You should stay in here. Shit is about to get ugly." He nodded at the young driver so that the driver would listen and not interfere. Once the vehicle was at a full stop, he got out. Estrella hopped to the transport vehicle. She panted heavily from the exhaustion, but toughed out the mile walk despite her battered body. Seeing that she made it to the vehicle with her effort, she could no longer stand. She let the tiredness consume her as the relief of arriving to the transport, without being carried, set a soothing feeling throughout her body. For the moment, she was victorious over the traitorous Troy. The warm feeling of success caused her body to shut down. She gave into her tiredness. Her legs gave out, and she collapsed. Seifer, who supported Estrella during the entire mile walk, suffered throughout the entire walk. He endured her gasps, whimpers, and groans of pain that were inflicted by rebel soldiers. When they arrived to the transport, she may have been relieved, but he wasn't. His eyes never left her sight because he watched her every second of the way. Her wounds were worse than he saw which further caused him to grit his teeth. The only positive was that she was conscious and breathing. For her sake, he kept a tranquil demeanor as to not put more stress on her already fragile and broken state. Her consciousness would not last though and neither would his quietness. "Estrella!" He growled in concern. He felt her body gave way. With one motion, he scooped her into his arms once again. His attention on Estrella had given the Captain, who he hadn't noticed yet, a chance to sneak to Troy who he still hadn't unleashed his full wrath on. The General, code named Y, saw Estrella's state. It was what he feared. Quickly, he walked over to the traitor and pulled him by the arm because he didn't know how long Seifer would stay quiet. Seeing how Estrella looked, he too wanted nothing more than to hang the traitor for his betrayal. He did not know her personally, yet what she endured this field test was worse than any female before her. This type of behavior had never happened before. Troy stayed behind everyone. He then noticed a man approach him. He had seen the man before. Looking away from Seifer and Estrella, he focused on the individual who made his way towards him. He was pulled in before he could say anything. At first, he thought he was discovered. He thought Estrella had something to do with it. Fortunately, for her, the Captain said nothing about what occurred between the two and what their deal was. The captain was more intelligent and had specific orders not to alert Troy that they knew about his betrayal. The higher ups had seen the entire scene unfold. His icy blue eyes met with Troy's suspicious look. "Hello Troy. You should head to the front of the transport vehicle. You look injured, and we will tend to you at the hospital. We need to give Ms. Divina some room in the back for her injuries. She looks in terrible shape. I want her to be comfortable." He rested his hand on Troy's shoulder to reassure the cadet that he was not in trouble...yet. Troy nodded and thought it was best he wasn't in the back with Seifer. "Thank you Captain Blitz. I will gladly let her have the back. The poor girl is really hurt. I wish I could have done more to save her from those savages." Troy lied, but it was a good one. It made him look like he felt guilty for what happened. Blitz kept a straight face with Troy's response even though he knew it was a lie. "You did the best you could. It was a damn ambush. No one could have seen it coming. I hope those rats get what is coming. We will find them for this. They have no honor attacking a woman and ganging up on her. Those rebels are lower than scum. It's why they must be eliminated." His voice was sincere and fierce too. He assured Troy that those men would be put to justice and walked passed him to deal with the lava pit that was Seifer. Troy watched the Captain walk by him. He smirked after the Captain left his view because his lie worked perfectly. There was no way the Captain would know who those rats were. As long as Estrella kept quiet, he was one step ahead of the Limitless organization. The rebels were on step closer to taking down the corrupt organization. He kept this feeling in his heart. He would stop at nothing to see that happen. Noticing that Estrella collapsed after the walk, this was his cue to head inside the vehicle where the driver awaited the command to leave. The Captain, unknowingly, had saved him from the hell that could happen if he rode in the back with Estrella and Seifer. WC: 1,046 TWC: 37,997 Edited by Estrella, Apr 14 2015, 10:55 AM.

Cautiously, Blitz walked over to Seifer who had his eyes on Estrella. He tried to be as polite as possible. He trained with Seifer and knew about his temperament especially when it concerned Estrella. There was one aspect that all the cadets, in his class, knew of. They were not to mess with her. If Blitz came too close, there was no telling what may happen. Silently, the courageous General stepped alongside Seifer. He spoke in a low tone as to not rile the distressed man. "The transport is here Seifer. We should get going and get Estrella the treatment she deserves. She's a tough girl and will be in safe hands. She will be okay. You have my word." He tried to be optimistic for the sake of keeping the flaming man from unleashing his fury. He knew it wouldn't help, and it would be best for him not to be in the back alongside Seifer. Once he spoke to Seifer, he signaled the driver to lower the ramp. It was time to leave. Seifer's demonic eyes rose from Estrella's body within his arms and set on the man who spoke to him. It was the Captain Blitz. He didn't say a word because Blitz words burned into him like a cigarette. The treatment Estrella deserved was not to be broken and beaten in his arms. He kept his wrath in check until he was inside the transport. The back ramp of the transport lowered itself. With Estrella limp in his arms, he walked up the ramp and saw there was a medical staff man awaiting. The medical man saw Seifer walk into the transport. Nervously, he fixed the medical bed where Seifer could lay Estrella down. He was informed about her injuries, but not on what happened. The protocol of these field exams was to always have someone medical staff member ride along the transport. He was there to help all injured cadets. He tried not to stare at Estrella for too long, but it was hard not to grimace at the sight. Her injuries were one of the worst he had seen. Typically, the men of field tests got the worst of it. This time it was a female. The anguished squad leader rested Estrella on the medical bed that would wheel her to the medical facility one they arrived in Final Order. His hand stroked her hair. Lowering himself to her, he whispered into her ear again. This time with passion. "I promise I'll get those fuckers for you. I won't stop until they are all dead for what they did to you." He whispered ferociously. After whispering into her ear, he sat next to her on the bench seat that was provided in the back of the transport vehicle. In the back, it was just Estrella, the medical Chicken Wuss, and himself. He remained silent despite the fact that he sensed the intimidation and weakness from the medical man. Normally, he would have pounced and bullied him like he did to most men who were cowardly. The medical man did not make a move to get close to Estrella. He wouldn't allow it either. Despite the cowardliness from the medical man, Seifer remained deep in thought and surprisingly calm for the moment. It was about to change in a flash. Blitz rose into the passenger seat alongside Troy who scooted over to give him room. The driver saw that Blitz entered and pushed a button to close the ramp in the back. "How did it go?" The driver asked curiously. Troy, who sat in between Blitz and the driver, looked ahead. He was in deep thought as well. He was a bit concerned since Estrella and Seifer were alone. In her beaten state, it was unlikely she would speak during the trip anyway. Remembering what he had done to her, settled his nerves. The silver haired captain looked at the driver. "You need to step on that pedal and get us to the medical facility as fast as possible. I don't think Seifer will be able to stay this calm for the rest of the ride. Just think of a ticking time bomb ready to explode." The Captain knew that Seifer's appeared tranquility was only a mask for Estrella's sake. He sensed the tension in the back. He feared for the medical man as well. The driver turned on the engine and road off. It would be a two hour drive to get to the medical facility even at the fastest speed he could go. He too became worried, but did as he was told. Seifer sat with his hands clasped between his seated thighs and his eyes glared at the metallic floor of the transport. He felt the engine of the transport turn on, but it did not phase him out his thoughts. His thoughts were on the field exam and Estrella during it. His hands unclasped and rested on the sides of his hair. His foot began to tap against the ground because of the emotion that was buried deep within that he desperately wanted to unleash on someone. Even though she performed incredibly, the only vision he saw was her beaten body. He only remembered her whimpering sounds that he was forced to listen and endure during the entire mile walk. The appearance of her beaten body and her helpless sounds repeatedly played in his head. They tormented him over and over again. The medical man's eyes studied the unconscious Estrella. He hadn't touched her yet because he was evaluating her injuries. He set aside his fear to attend to his duties. While he looked over Estrella, he did not see Seifer's postures and the suffering he was going through. His mind burned with the memories of her smile, laughter, and private affection throughout the mission before she was brutally assaulted. "Don't play that shit around me that's an order." His voice echoed in his head when he jokingly mentioned how he hated her ring tone. Her bubbly laughter sounded from his joke inside. "That's a big fish..I mean deer." Estrella pointed out teasingly in his memory. He recalled how she healed him after he killed the old man who tried to stab her. His fist clenched because he was completely fine, but she was not. She was helpless. His eyes settled still did not rest on her body. Those happy memories, including the ones before the mission, drove him to the brink because she was the only aspect in his life that reminded him of his humanity. She reminded him how good it felt to laugh. He wanted to see her smile again, but she couldn't. The fact that was hurt and was unable to rejoice their success in the mission further pushed him over the edge because more unwanted thoughts branded his mind. Why did they attack her? They certainly had a death sentence. His teeth gritted when he pictured the Chicken Wusses' faces who dared to attack her to get to him. He wished he was there to... Then, like a nightmare he couldn't wake up from, he could only picture Estrella defending herself against the freaks who ambushed her. He pictured her trying, scratching, clawing, and fighting to stay alive even when the odds were against her. Seeing how tough she was daily, she probably did her best to protect the worthless Troy too. It was then he remembered that the fucker was responsible for everything. He was outwardly responsible. Seifer needed someone to blame with those rebel's faces being a mystery, and Troy was exactly that man even if the scrawny weasel wasn't entirely at fault. WC: 1,268 TWC: 39,265 |

The medical officer looked over Estrella's body. He inspected her with his eyes to make sure she was able to be treated without causing further injury. While she lay unconscious, he did not notice Seifer's posture. He would have seen that Seifer was ready to erupt like a volcano. Bravely, he grabbed disinfectant and proceeded with his job. He rubbed the liquid onto a cotton swab and gently added it to one of Estrella's cuts that went along the fine lines of her jaw. The instant the swab went onto Estrella's cut she groaned because it stung. Seifer lost it when he heard her voice again. He looked up and thought it was Troy. In that very instant, he lunged like a mad man at the defenseless medical man. He reached for the man's throat and immediately slammed him into the metal wall of the transporter. He was set on killing. The pent up rage he had within was finally released. His eyes were murderous, cold, lifeless, and hell bent on making the person, who he at the moment thought was Troy, pay with his life. Since he snapped, he didn't care to see that it was the medical man aiding his wife to help her feel better. The medical man squawked when he felt a strong hand grasp his throat. He did not see it coming. He dropped the cotton swab and the liquid the moment he was attacked. His yell, though muffled because he was being choked, alerted the front passengers that he was being assaulted. His back hit the metal part of the wall. His fearful eyes stared into the cold ones that wanted to see him dead. He did not know what he had done wrong. Tearing because he thought he was going to die, he tried pleading with Seifer to let him go. He spoke in a gasping manner since he could barely breathe. "D..d..on't k...kill...me" The medical man felt the grip get tighter as he pleaded. In the front, the driver, Blitz, and Troy overheard the commotion that came from the back. They were unable to see what the hell was going on, but they heard it all. Troy's eyes widened when he heard a loud clang sound in the back. The driver became nervous and had no idea if he should stop. "Holy fuck what is going on back there?" Blitz exclaimed, yet he knew well what exactly was happening. The raging Squad Leader finally lost his cool. Seifer gripped tighter and was prepared to snap the man's neck until he heard someone whisper behind him. "Seifer.." Estrella whispered to herself even though she had no idea what was going on. The scarred squad leader came back to his senses when he heard her gentle voice. His heavy breathing indicated that he was struggling to maintain his cool and to not finish the killing he was set on doing. Looking at the medical man, he saw that it was not Troy who he attacked. Sparingly, he loosened his grip, but did not stop his rage there. "Oh..oh thank you.." The medical man fell to the floor when he released. He gasped for air. He was about to ask the driver to stop the transport until he heard the medical man gasp for air and thank Seifer for releasing him. Seifer growled and gritted his teeth when he looked at Estrella again who was the main reason he stopped from killing the medical officer. This time, instead of taking his frustration out on the medical man, he slammed his fist into the transporter's walls. He continued to punch the walls over and over again. HIs rage was the source of his energy, power, and strength. The loud banging shook the entire transport for anyone who was inside. He shook the transporter with each blow of his mighty fists. His long coat swung with his arms. The trademark red cross on his shoulder further accentuated the moment and revealed the one of the many reasons why he reacted how he did. A knight would not let someone harm....his princess and if they did, hell needed to be paid. The perpetrators were no where to be found , but he would discover where they were and end them. The medical man sat in the corner in shock at the sight. He was too scared to intervene especially with a psychotic releasing his rage on anything that moved. The driver panicked when he heard banging sounds from the back. "Are we getting shot at? What the hell!" He shouted in horror. Troy remained silent and secretly feared that the banging sounds could have been him. Blitz stayed calm because the medical man was spared. The thunderous pangs was a man who needed to release his inner rage, and he understood that all too well. As long as Seifer kept the medical officer alive, he would not interfere. He let the future commander have his moment to get rid of the intense rage he had consuming his soul. "Don't worry just keep driving." He reassured the driver who nodded and did as he was told. Thunk, Thunk, Thunk.... Captain Blitz stopped caring for the pounding sounds in the back. Throughout the entire two hour trip, it was all one heard. They were arriving at the hospital in Final Order. He wished it had come sooner. There was no telling what damage had been done to the transporter or the medical man. Troy and the driver remained silent throughout the trip. Troy tried to think positively despite the aggression he heard behind him. He knew it was intended for him. He did not know what would happen once he got out of the vehicle. Upon seeing the hospital, he gulped in anticipation of violence. He was not fearful of the scarred psychotic, but he needed to keep alive for the sake of his rebel cause. Seifer's leather gloves were torn at the knuckles. His bare skin was visible and blood dripped from his gloves onto the transporter's floor. He did not use only his fists to ram whatever he could find. He used his elbows too. His long cloak had tears near the elbow. Panting with every punch, it was like he got back from an intense workout. His slick, blonde hair was sweaty. There were beads of water pouring down his cheeks. He looked like he had been through a tornado storm. The medical man blinked his eyes and cringed with every punch Seifer delivered. He managed to avoid Seifer's line of vision. While Seifer was occupied with releasing his aggression, the medical officer performed his duties. He treated Estrella's wounds by cleaning them. To keep her from making anymore unwanted sounds, he lightly placed his hand on her mouth to avoid further complication. Seifer was too busy with his temper to notice. The vehicle slowed down. The medical officer removed his hand from Estrella's mouth and whispered into her ear before Seifer could notice. "Tough it out girl. You're almost there." He stepped away from her with a smile on his face. Since the time he arrived to help Estrella, he found an appreciation for the woman. Not only had she saved him from Seifer's wrath, but she had him discover a part of himself he never knew. He as braver than he looked. Helping her, despite the danger of being killed, had given him a new lease on life because he felt like he could take on the world. Estrella tightened her eyes in discomfort when she heard an encouraging voice. Her consciousness could not respond, yet the kind words of an unknown individual were certainly heard. ![]() The driver stopped the vehicle once they were at the hospital. He wiped the perspiration from his forehead. His anxiety was through the roof especially because of the hell that went on in the back. He never heard such rage. For a moment, he didn't think they were going to make it. Blitz stepped out of the vehicle first. Knowing what was at stake, he encouraged Troy to get out of the transport before Seifer had a chance to get his hands on him. "Ken please go help the people in the back." He ordered the driver. Ken looked at his superior officer. Mentally, he sighed at the fact that he had been given the crappy job of dealing with a mad man. He had yet to see why the scarred man in the back was as insane as he was. "Will do sir." He said without question. He too stepped out of the vehicle. Silently, he prayed to himself in hopes that nothing would happen to him. "Come on Troy. Let's get you that treatment." Blitz said in a calm voice. He didn't want to alert Troy to the problem at hand. He knew the bastard didn't deserve it. However, it was part of his orders. For now, he had to put up with it. Troy didn't argue. Nodding at the captain, he stepped out and followed him to the entrance of the hospital. It was only a matter of time before he would have to face Seifer. He would rather do it later than sooner. "I just hope Estrella is okay." Troy commented sympathetically like he cared, and then looked back at the vehicle. He didn't want to see the hellish face that would come out of it. With that thought, he followed Blitz to the lobby room where patients sat and awaited to be treated. ![]() WC: 724 TWC: 40,884 |

In dread, Ken walked alongside the transport vehicle. The dents, which stuck outward from the vehicle, did not sooth his anxiety. The two hour trip was horrific. He was a rookie driver, and he thought he would be safer driving than fighting. He started to believe he made the wrong career choice. He was a good soldier though and respected Captain Blitz's order. When he reached the back of the transport, he waited a couple of moments before he'd open the hatch. The medical officer noticed Seifer calm down when the vehicle stopped. He was counting on Seifer ignoring him still which is why he went ahead and began to strap Estrella into the wheeled bed. It would be safer to transport her on the wheeled bed as to not put any stress on any broken bones. Of course, his expert opinion was tossed aside as soon as he tried. "Get the fuck away from her chicken wuss." Seifer shoved the medical man into the wall of the transport. He was no medical professional, but he knew one thing. He no longer wanted Chicken Wusses watching over his girl. He already made that mistake once that day. The last thing he wanted was to make the same mistake twice. It wasn't in his nature. Carefully, he scooped Estrella into his arms and made his way towards the ramp where he would head towards the hospital. The medical officer, taking a look at how Estrella was being carried, could not contain his need to be professional. "Sir Almasy please...we really need to take her on a bed." He suggested in hopes that Seifer would listen. Ken tried not to bring attention to himself when the vehicle's ramp lowered. He saw how the medical officer was pushed into the wall. The inside of the truck was ravaged and would likely be scrapped due to the amount of damage done to it. He sighed because it would most likely come out of his paycheck. Seifer glared at the medical man and gritted with irritation. "Don't tell me how to take care of my wife unless you're looking to get hurt." He didn't bother saying anything more. After his remark, he walked towards the entrance of the hospital. His mind was too focused on getting her treatment to see that there was another man in the area. The driver was useless to him. The medical man covered his face when Seifer replied to him. The man was impossible to deal with. Not wanting to further piss the man off, he backed off and let the scarred man handle it. Ken watched and listened to the argument. When he saw how bad Estrella looked, he covered his mouth. The horror of seeing her as bad as she was almost brought the gentle man to tears. He didn't know what kind of monsters lived in the world. This is why the man was off the chain. It made perfect sense. "Man, that guy is pissed. I would be too if that was my..." He suddenly remembered he forgot to call his wife. Without further delay, he left the medical officer alone to tend to his personal duties. Seifer walked through the automatic doors with Estrella in his arms. He looked like a wounded hero with blood stained long coat and a hardened expression. His fist wounds were self inflicted whereas his wife's wasn't. The patients, who were waiting inside the lobby, looked at Estrella. There were some who gasped and others who simply stared. He paid no mind to the stares that were given. His main worry was getting Estrella the proper treatment. He was about to walk through the doors that led into the hallways for patients being treated until he was stopped by a nurse. The nurse placed her hand up to keep Seifer from moving any further. "Sir we need to take her. You will have to wait here." Seifer glared at the nurse. He was normally respectful towards women. This moment was an exception. "I'm not fucking leaving her alone. You will let me through and YOU will treat her while I watch." He said without sympathy for the working nurse. Captain Blitz saw the escalating situation and he jogged to the unexpected Seifer. He rested his hand on the Squad Leader's shoulder to relax him. Seifer trusted him and so he could probably get the scarred man to abide by the rules of the hospital without causing a massive scene. "Seifer you need to listen to this nurse. Estrella will be in safe care. You need to think about Estrella okay?" He tried to reason with Seifer. Seifer continued to glare at the nurse. There were several doctors who entered the room the moment they saw the scene. They had a medical bed with them as proper procedure. He contemplated what the best choice was. Then he looked down at Estrella's face. When he saw that she was in need of care, his reasoning took over. Hesitantly, Seifer rested Estrella on the medical bed. His hand stroked his forehead once before letting her get wheeled away for treatment. "You let anything happen to her. I'll kill you." His voice went into a low, threatening tone. "We won't Seifer. She is in safe hands." The doctors were a bit disturbed by Seifer's raw attitude, but they professionally responded to his threat. They road Estrella away into the hallway full of rooms. Seifer's intense gaze watched her. For the first time, he was forced to let others take care of her. His fists clenched at his sides. Even when she was out of his sight, he continued to stare into the hallway. Blitz sighed in relief that he salvaged the escalating situation. He thought for a moment that Seifer would not be reeled in. WC: 958 TWC: 41,842 Edited by Estrella, Apr 17 2015, 07:25 PM.

Being too relieved, Blitz did not foresee the explosion of emotion that was about to make the hospital shake to its core. Seifer's green eyes stared endlessly at the hallway where Estrella was wheeled away. His fists and jaw were clenched. He could do nothing now or so he thought. He was about to look away and sit down to wait to see her until he saw someone in the hallway. This someone was walking just fine. His heart raced with adrenaline and rage when he was reminded whose fault it was. Gritting his teeth, he growled. The Captain noticed the change in Seifer's expression. The calmness was gone and was replaced with pure hatred. He turned his sights on who Seifer was looking at. His eyes widened when he saw that it was Troy who Seifer set his sights on. He spoke up too late. By the time he said his first word, Seifer bolted in Troy's direction. Seifer rammed his shoulder through the doors and they opened with a loud crash. The people who were chasing and shouting at him were ignored by his flaming rage. ![]() "Troy!" Blitz ran after Seifer. The nurses, in the front lobby, chased after Blitz who was running after the fully driven Seifer. The patients in the lobby grew interested in the situation. There were some who were nervous too. Blitz didn't think he could catch him in time. Troy, who was finished getting bandaged, heard shouting coming from the end of the hallway. He looked up and saw the terror. "Sei..." The wind was knocked out of him when he was lifted off the ground. He didn't have time to plead for the mad man to stop. Seifer wrapped his arms around Troy's waist, picked him up, and then drove him into the ground. He speared the unsuspected patient into the tile floor of the hospital. Troy never saw it coming. Troy yelled when his back crashed into the tile floor. Before Seifer could do anything more to Troy, a swarm of nurses, doctors, and Blitz grabbed Seifer's arms to pull him off of Troy. The eight people struggled to keep Seifer back. "This is all your fault you piece...of...trash! I'm going to make you wish you were dead! " He strained with the amount of people trying to hold him back. His powerful legs pushed against the ground to keep being pulled back by the people who were attempting to stop his vengeance. A doctor got in front of him, but Seifer slugged the mofo out of his way. He growled and roared to get everyone off of him. Blitz called for back up and within seconds limitless soldiers rushed into the hallway. Troy lay on the floor helplessly. He was in pain and was unable to stand. There were nurses who crouched by his side to check up on him. Even with their help, he couldn't stand. This seem to further piss Seifer off. "Get up you fucking wuss!" He shouted with animosity. The back up Limitless soldiers grabbed Seifer. Eventually, there were 20 people pulling the enraged Seifer out of the hallway and back towards the lobby. He never stopped struggling or trying to break free from their hold. Once they got Seifer into the lobby, the hell bent tirade was not over. They released him, but it was not the best decision. He stalked over to the chairs that were in the lobby. He began tossing them. The empty chairs splintered from hitting the wall so hard. He made a mess of the beautiful lobby in seconds. The patients in the same room screamed and hid their faces. The nurse that tried to keep Seifer out earlier ran over to Seifer. "Sir YOU have to stop this madness! You are in a hospital! If you keep doing this, I will not let you see Estrella. You are in no condition to see her right now!" The nurse said loudly and hoped it would go through the man's thick skull. "I dare you to keep me out and away from her." He glared at the woman. Then he kicked another chair for good measure. Blitz had enough. He ran over to Seifer again. This time he was serious. The patients were frightened, but that is not what concerned him. What bothered him was Seifer's temper getting the best of him. Troy could not die just yet even if the fucker did deserve it. If it were not for the order, Blitz would have gladly let Seifer pound the loser to death. "What the hell are you doing?" Blitz had to reason with him by being on the same level. Seifer's shoulders rose and fell with the fury. He leered at Blitz. The Limitless soldiers in the room kept a close eye on Seifer's next move. "That..WUSS is responsible for everything. I know he is. I can feel it. He is walking around fine while Estrella is in a bed covered in bruises. She probably fought and protected his worthless ass too. He is a fucking coward, and I want to destroy him." He clenched his fist because he was truly trying to contain himself. Blitz tried not to give any important information away especially when Seifer hit it spot on. "You can't possibly know that Seifer. They were ambushed. It's possible they got to her before Troy. Estrella will be okay. She won't be okay if you keep stressing her. This entire hospital can hear you, and I am sure she can too." He then went a step further. "There are still two exams left. The cage match is next. The best way you can get back at Troy is beating him in there." Blitz knew it was a long shot especially because it was possible Estrella could end up against her own husband or against Troy. In his lifetime, he had never seen a woman go up against a man in a straight up fist fight with no magic or weaponry allowed. It is why they paired two men with one woman. The two men usually agreed to face one another which left the random voting out of the picture. Knowing Troy was a traitor, he knew that Troy wouldn't risk going up against Seifer especially after what happened just now. He saw Seifer was deep in thought. "Listen, go clean up and look nice for her. There is a shower area in this hospital for the solders.. By the time you come back, you should be able to go visit her. I'll make sure nobody gets to her." He said positively. Seifer didn't want to think about the cage match. It was not even in his mind. His tense shoulder muscles eased themselves. His raging insides slowly subsided from the Captain's remarks. He was reluctant to leave the lobby and Estrella, but did so for the sake of giving Estrella the peace she needed in order to get treated. It was the one reason he listened to Blitz. "You make sure no one goes to her room or they will deal with me. I will be back in ten minutes." He walked away leaving Blitz alone with the patients who were distraught by what they witnessed. The pieces of wood, from the chairs, were splattered on the floor. The lobby looked like a hurricane swept through it. In this case, the hurricane being Seifer. Blitz nodded respectfully.. "You got my word." He covered his face in exhaustion when Seifer was gone. WC: 1,231 TWC: 42,713 |

![]() The silver haired captain was given permission to see Estrella. The hospital was at peace once Seifer had gone to tend to himself. Quietly, he entered into the hospital room where Estrella lay with an oxygen mask on her face and machines strapped to her body. The heart beat monitor beeped in a rhythmic manner which meant Estrella was stable. Respectfully, he removed his hat and placed it on the the night stand next to the hospital bed. He moved a chair over and sat next to her. His blue eyes traveled her body to see the damage that had been done. He exhaled at the scene. His fingers pinched his nose. It took every ounce of willpower to avoid doing the same that Seifer had done. Troy as a traitor beyond the worst he had seen. His cold veins unknowingly chilled the air. ![]() Estrella grimaced when she felt a chill hit against her skin. It was cold. Her breathing could be heard from the machine. When she shivered, the machines shook. He saw what he had done. "Sorry..." He relaxed himself. Deciding she required some encouraging words, he scooted closer and began to talk to her as if she were awake. "I haven't known you long Estrella. Do you mind if I call you that?" He called her by her first name. Seeing that she didn't react to him calling her Estrella, he went on with what he was going to say. "I remember seeing you during the cadet training. I was one of the instructors if you remember. The first time I saw you I had to say I was a bit worried because of how stubborn and wild you were. The more I got to study you the more I saw that it was a mask. It was a mask to keep people like Troy from hurting you. I read your back story. It almost broke my heart at what you went through in your younger years. No one deserves that." He tried to sympathize with the woman. Everyone had their hardships in life, but her's were one of the worst he had seen. He went on with his comments. "You may not know it yet, but you are symbolic to what Limitless fights for. Your innocence that is constantly being contested. When I look at you, I now know why I joined this organization. It was to fight the rebels for their acts of violence. They are the hatred of this world. Deep in your gentle heart you want peace even if you are brash at times. There are many who can't see that, but I can see who you really are. You proved yourself on the field today and no one can take that away from you." He encouraged even though she reacted to nothing he said. "I now know why your husband is how he is and why he wants to keep you protected. He wants to give you everything you never had. I can imagine you are the source behind a lot of his achievements. Us men need to be reminded of our humanity. For him, you're that humanity. I don't blame him for being how he is, and I frankly encourage because I'd do the same. From what I know of you, you are like a gentle rose that can prick away the pests, but in the end you need that extra care to blossom into your best you. You can't fool me with your curses or spoiled attitude." He chuckled remembering how she cursed him off the first time he met her. It was because he wanted her to wear a military uniform that was designed as a skirt. The way she reacted to it made him believe she was a dreadful woman, but that was not the case at all. What she wanted was to be respected among her peers. This was admirable. "You may appear as a tough woman on the outside, but on the inside you are a little girl wanting to be happy, loved, and respected." The captain sided with the both Seifer and Estrella on what happened that day. Sighing to himself, he set his eyes on the machines strapped to her body. "I can't begin to imagine what you're going through. I wish I could help you, but I am afraid that you have to be the one to live through this." He commented with regret. He wanted a piece of the rebel traitor who was within their ranks, yet he had orders to not interfere. "You must let your heart guide you to the right choice. You're strong...prove it to yourself. Don't let one weasel bring your hopes down or that hidden gentle heart get crushed. You will have peace one day if you stay true to yourself." Once he finished what he had to say, he grabbed his hat. He walked away and left the room. It was only a matter of time before Seifer returned. He did not want Seifer seeing him in the room first. A single tear came down Estrella's cheek after the man left her side. The words hit her heart and her subconscious. The words were touching. Once the man was gone, she opened one of her swollen eyes and muttered a rare thank you. Her green pupil followed the man's movement even after he was gone. She whispered a thank you the man would surely not hear either, yet was just as meaningful. Her eye closed after the door shut, and she let her sadness force her to sleep more. WC: 927 TWC: 43,640 |

A suffering man pressed his hands against the tile wall of the shower. His Hyperion rested next to his leg. His gunblade, other than Estrella, was the only other thing that remained by his side no matter what. He leaned forward to let the full brunt of the cold water strike his head and skin. It was his way of trying to cool his magma-like temper. The cold was not what he was used to feeling. The dried blood on his hands dripped into the holes of the sink. He was cleaning himself, yet it did not seem to get rid of the disgusting sensation in the pit of his stomach and in his heart. Since he was one with fire, a warm shower is what he preferred, but not today. He did not deserve it after what he allowed to happen. The cold water was a reminder of how agonizing the day had been. At one point, he was on top of the world. Then the next he was trying to remember how to breathe. This is what it meant to be reminded of his humanity. With all the joy he took for granted, sometimes came torment when he was too nice and too careless. "I'm sorry Estrella for failing you, but I'll make it up to you. I promise I'll kill those fuckers who thought they could touch you. I'll take out every single one of them and make them beg me to stop torturing them just before I do it too. I'll obliterate them." He repeated to himself to keep himself from losing it again. He had yet to ask her what happened. He didn't think he'd be able to stomach her story either. His closed eyes opened to stare at the plain, white tile wall that surrounded the shower. The cold water would make any man shiver, yet he stood there with barren eyes. He realized he took longer than ten minutes. He did it on purpose though. Estrella was in safe hands. He respected Blitz. Unlike other soldiers, he earned that trust by standing up to him. He didn't sense any weaknesses from the older Captain either. Knowing how important it was for Estrella to rest, he did not want to stress her further. Captain Blitz had a point. His tantrums probably stressed her out more. He couldn't help it. Every time he looked at her beaten state he could hardly contain himself from unleashing his rage. She deserved to rest. After a couple of minutes in the icy shower, he turned off the water, reached for his gunblade, and dressed himself. He ran his fingers through his hair to slick it back. Then, with his intense gaze, he looked into the mirror. His eyes traced the scar over his face that he was normally proud to have. The more he looked at himself the more he saw a flaw to his appearance. He didn't look like the proud and infamous Commander he was supposed to be. This was because there was a missing piece to it all. He did not feel whole without Estrella. A knight needed a princess which meant he needed Estrella. He could no longer say that what he felt for Estrella was love....No, it was more than that. The word love served his inner feelings no justice towards his devotion to her. One could call it fascination, obsession, and intoxication, but even those words failed in comparison to express what he truly felt for her. There was no word that could possibly perceive his feelings about his wife and so he never spoke about it even to her. He never uttered the words "I love you" because they were not enough. She deserved more than a three word cliche phrase. She was too special for it. He couldn't show his affection through words. Instead, he did his best to show it physically to her through his actions. The instant those men thought about doing harm to her was the moment they dug their graves. It was an unforgivable sin what they had done. The pain he endured today, from seeing his wife in agony that practically brought his rugged exterior to tears, reminded him as to why he had to keep Estrella under his close watch regardless of her complaints. In a way, he was thankful for being reminded of how many scumbags were around because it gave him a mission in life. Not only would he protect what was his, but he would destroy and conquer. He would exterminate the vermin who wanted to do harm to the innocents like his precious Estrella while at the same time making a trembling reputation for the future. "You fucked with the wrong beast. Prepare for war freaks..." He said in a low, menacing tone. While glaring into the mirror, he pumped himself up. Mentally, he declared that today would be his ascension to the infamous Commander he wanted to be and needed to be. His name would one day send chills to those who spoke it. He would make sure of it. At that moment, he pulled the trigger on his gunblade so that the entire hospital could hear his warning. A loud bang sounded and was followed by a shattering noise that echoed in the bathroom. Him pulling the trigger was as if he was dedicating it to Estrella and marking the deaths of those who dared go against him in the future. The gunblade vibrated in his hand to bring a familiar, yet thrilling sensation to mind. A devilish smirk spread across his lips. The arrogant squad leader returned, but more threatening than ever. He put himself together and walked out of the bathroom to head towards the gift shop. He would get her something before visiting her. WC: 967 TWC: 44,607 |

There were whispers of people who spoke about the loud bang sound they heard. It was from him, and he was thrilled that all of them heard it. He wanted it to be heard so they would know his rise to power. It was a territorial type thing. Those who opposed him would not to live to regret it. Seifer reached the gift shop and walked inside. He noticed some of the customers glance at him nervously. He followed their eyes to his gunblade. Remembering he had his gunblade in hand, he kindly placed it on his back. He normally didn't care what others thought, but to avoid causing further trouble he decided to be nice for once. He smirked to smile to ease the chicken wusses' minds. The customers turned away, and he resumed with his plan of getting Estrella a gift before he visited her. He searched around the gift shop for a couple of minutes. His thin patience had begun to show itself again. Looking around the gift shop, he had grown frustrated because finding a gift was harder than he realized. He rarely bought Estrella presents and for this reason he had no idea what to look for. "Why is this shit so hard?" He muttered to himself. The cashier saw Seifer's growing irritation. Since there were no other customers around, he walked over to the long coated man. He didn't want any trouble to brew inside the hospital's gracious gift shop. Respectfully, he stepped alongside Seifer. "Sir, may I help you with something?" He glanced at the scarred man's glaring expression. Seifer clenched his jaw when he heard a man ask him if he needed help. His fist clenched because he didn't want to be bothered. He never thought he needed help with anything. However, he was having no luck finding a gift for his Estrella, and he wanted to go see her. He could no go empty handed though. Exhaling out his instinct to toss the man to the side, he let the man do his job and help him. "I don't know what to get my wife." His voice said lowly. "I'm so used to stealing for her that I forgot how this shit works." His green eyes did not give the worker any contact since he was a prideful man. Asking for help, was the last thing he would everdo. The worker rubbed his chin when he was told about the man's troubles. The man was having difficulty finding a gift for his wife. Not wanting to find out anymore information about the scarred man's criminal activities, he stayed on the subject. "Well what does she like?" He questioned the scarred man kindly. Seifer thought for a long moment silently. He thought back to all those times they were together. She liked a load of things. Then he remembered the tragic death of the baby chocobo they had found on the street. He hated animals, but he recalled how sad Estrella was after it happened. "She likes dragonballs." He commented straightforwardly. The worker smiled. "Well you're in luck. I just got this necklace here that has a dragonball on it." He walked over to the counter and pulled it out. He then handed the box to the man. Seifer took the box and observed the necklace. The dragonball on the necklace had a purple star on it. It just happened to be her favorite color too. He smirked because the gift was perfect. The worker had done his job for once and didn't disappoint like most had in the past. "Good man. I'll take it. I want those box of chocolates there too." He instructed the worker who looked relieved that he had helped. Once Seifer purchased the items, he placed the box in his long coat and carried the bag of chocolates at his side. He left the gift shop happier than he had gone inside. His next destination was Estrella's room. He was anxious to see her after having seen her for the last two hours. With the technology they had in the hospital, he expected her to be better. He reached the front desk of the waiting room where the nurse, who tried to stop him earlier from taking out Troy and threatening that she would take his visitation rights away, looked up at him. He was about to ask if he could see Estrella. Before she could respond to the anticipated question, two familiar individuals spoke out to Seifer. Raijin and Fujin walked into the waiting room. They heard about Seifer's outbreak. The nurse, who had done some research, thought it was best to contact the two to get the scarred mad man to calm down. She hadn't realized that Seifer was already relaxed. "Tragedy." Fujin said with a hint of sadness. "Long time no see Seifer y'know? We heard about the tragedy and wanted to make sure you were okay y'know?" Raijin further explained why they were there. Seifer turned to his two old friends. The three of them were once part of the Balamb disciplinary committee. They were considered a close posse. They usually hung out together when they could. For the first time since the field test, he grinned for a moment that his old friends had come to see him in his time of trouble. Then, when they mentioned the tragedy, his grin faded and his expression hardened. "Those fuckers ambushed her." His intense glare was on the brink of releasing tears of anguish. He gritted his teeth and stepped forward because he was prepared to thrash the room again. He was once again reminded of the pain he felt inside. Raijin pressed his hand against Seifer's shoulder to keep Seifer from overreacting. Having known Seifer, he had known how violent his old friend's temper could be. "Calm." Fujin stated to keep Seifer relaxed. Fujin and Raijin knew who Estrella was. They were fond of her in a sisterly sort of way. Raijin, who heard the news, grew angry too. "I heard what they did to her too, and I know you want to kill them. You just have to be smart about it. I just want you to know that we are with you on this one y'know." His words were wise which was usually not his strong suit. "Forever" Fujin complimented Raijin's remark. Seifer took his friends' words to heart. He patted Raijin's and Fuijin's shoulders. It was his way of thanking them. "Go be with her. She needs you y'know." Raijin said encouragingly because he knew how much pain Seifer was in to go see her. Seifer may have appeared to be a cold heart individual to those he didn't care about, but that was because they didn't know the real Seifer. They didn't have the patience to understand the hard man underneath. The real Seifer, once he gained respect for someone, would fight for them until the end. Getting Seifer's respect was difficult, but it was worth it. "Lovely" Fujin said about Estrella. Raijin knew how vital Estrella was to Seifer. Seifer was a man who was constantly ridiculed for his independent ways, was kicked out of his child hood military school because he was misunderstood as a traitor due to risking it all for a woman, and that very same woman, who he first cared for deeply, left him for another man. Seifer was left heart broken although he'd never admit to it. Him being a tough man, never mentioned how it effected him and of course time was said to heal all wounds. This situation was different with Estrella. He didn't think this was a wound Seifer could recover from though. This was deeper than anything Raijin had ever seen. This is why he hoped that Estrella would make it out okay for his friend's sake. Why was she so special to him? It was obvious in Raijin's eyes. Raijin thought Seifer may not recover from those traumatic experiences, but then Estrella came around. Since Raijin had known Estrella for years, he had seen how special she was to his long time friend. She allowed his childhood friend to live out his dreams without questioning them or ridiculing them like may had in the past. She always believed in him. This is what Raijin and Fujin had seen from her. The tough girl was at his side even through the roughest of times. He had experience with Seifer, and Seifer was not easy to deal with. In fact, he was almost impossible to deal with, yet Estrella did it with ease. Her wild, yet affectionate attitude had a grip on Seifer he had never seen before. It was simple. Seifer needed her because, at the end of the day, through the good and the bad, she let him be himself. The scarred squad leader nodded and walked passed his friends to go be with his "damsel in distress." WC: 1,470 TWC: 46,077 |

Blitz was at the end of the hallway. He gazed at the troubled Squad Leader from a distance. He avoided ruining the moment that the scarred man needed. However, he knew in the upcoming days that the scarred leader would not be as relaxed. The truth would eventually come forth. The hospital room door was the last obstacle in his path before he could see Estrella. Stopping in front of the door, he reached into his long coat and pulled out the box he purchased. Then he glanced at the box of chocolates. He wanted only the best for Estrella. Before he entered in the room, he took a deep breath before her saw her to relieve his anger. He did not want to stress her out further. He would once again be reminded of what happened to his precious, but he would have to keep calm for her sake. Faintly, he opened the door to see Estrella. He sucked in his breath when he saw her laying on the hospital bed with an oxygen mask on her face. The long locks of her black hair, which were usually braided, were resting on either side of her face. In her sleeping state, she was at peace and angelic. It left him breathless. Her forehead was covered in bandages along with her wrists. His fist clenched, but he avoided starting a scene because she had to rest. He had to remember to breathe to keep his rage from unleashing on the room again. The hellish temper was subdued for her. Quietly, he approached Estrella's bed. He rested the chocolates on the nightstand. Then, gazing at her, he bent over and pressed his lips against her forehead. Since she was asleep, he decided to be a little romantic. He wasn't good at it, but he tried. "I'm here. You don't have to worry about anything. Just rest princess." He whispered softly against her forehead. Estrella was asleep, but she was alerted that someone entered her room. Her nostrils inhaled a sweet scent of chocolate that was placed by her bed. It was followed by more. A warm breath trickled against her forehead. Suddenly, her forehead felt moist. The husky tone that whispered to her caused a weak smile to come on her face. She almost laughed because Seifer wasn't normally romantic especially not in a cheesy sense. Seifer pulled a chair over and sat alongside her. His hand reached for hers because he yearned for warmth. Upon smelling the chocolate further and feeling a strong grip gasp her hand, her eyes flickered open. Her head turned to see that Seifer was looking down at the ground. He probably didn't like the way she looked right now. She couldn't blame him. If it was the opposite, she would feel the same. He didn't notice when she removed the oxygen mask from her face to talk. "Thank you Sir Seifer." Her voice whispered innocently. She said "sir" as a way to cater to his childhood fantasy of being a knight. Seifer's saddened eyes looked up from the floor when he heard a sweet sounding voice. He tried to contain the overwhelming happiness due to his tough demeanor. It was so easy for her to make him feel empowered and incredible. Her calling him "sir" almost made him blush...almost. He wasn't a blusher though, and he certainly wouldn't start now. His thumb rubbed against the top of her hand comfortingly. The first question was an obvious one. "How do you feel?" He asked and hoped for a good response. She used her arms to weakly raise herself so that she was sitting up. "Better especially since you brought me chocolate." She tried to cheer him up. Despite him looking clean and freshened up, she could tell he was under stress. Seifer grinned when she mentioned the chocolate. At that moment, he remembered the necklace that he purchased for her. He took out the small box and placed it in her hand. "I got you something else that you might like. If not, I might have to go choke that cashier in the gift shop." He looked on in anticipation. Estrella tried not to laugh when she heard that Seifer entered into a gift shop without hurting someone. The cashier wouldn't have to worry though. She admired most of the gifts Seifer "stole" or purchased for her. Grabbing the box, she observed it. Her eyes glanced at Seifer who stared at her with anticipation. To ease him, she opened the box. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw that it was a necklace of a dragonball. Her eyes teared with joy. "You hate it don't you? I am going to kick that fucker's ass." He was about to get up from the chair because he misinterpreted her facial expression and glimmering eyes as sadness. Her hand tightened around his to keep him from leaving. "No, I absolutely love it. Oh Seifer it's beautiful!" She exclaimed with admiration. Her hand lightly pulled him over to kiss his cheek as a way to thank him. Seifer relaxed when he heard that she liked it and was even more pumped when she thanked him with a kiss on the cheek. He smirked arrogantly because he had made a good choice, and he took full credit for it despite being helped. The cashier had helped him, but he wouldn't admit to it. In the end, it was him who bought it, and he who knew what she liked. She put the necklace on and looked over at Seifer. "How does it look?" She asked with shyness because she hoped it was nice on her. Seifer wasn't much for jewelry and didn't pay attention to the necklace itself. He gazed at her face and how her hair framed it beautifully. He avoided saying something that he usually would with how he was. He would normally say sexy, hot, or just show it with actions. This time he tried to be a little more gentleman-like. "You look beautiful." He had a hard time saying the word beautiful. It wasn't his normal choice of words. Being satisfied with his answer, she smiled at him to thank him and played with the necklace to keep his eyes from settling on hers. Her fingers traced it because she truly appreciated the gift. As small as the gift was, it touched her heart and soul. It meant more to her than Seifer would ever know. Seifer felt more relieved that she was better. When he saw that she was avoiding eye contact, he thought it was time to talk about what had happened. He wanted her side of the story because she was the only one he trusted. He dreaded what she may tell him because he was prepared for the worst. He let the romantic moment subside before he jumped into the situation at hand. Since the incident, he was driven to find out how it happened, and he was obsessed with the need for vengeance. "Estrella.." He said in a needy whisper. He released her hand when he said her name. Then he used his fingers to guide her chin so that she looked at him. He brushed away the locks that fell along her face. "Can you tell me what happened?" His eyes set on hers and waited for her answer. As rough as the spot was that he put her in because she had to retell a traumatic experience, he had the right to know. He needed to know. He demanded to know. His mind wouldn't be at peace until the freaks, who had done this to her, were dead. WC: 1,262 TWC: 47,339 |
