"GET BACK HERE YOU CRIMINALS!" People and stalls where scattering out of the way, As a large group of humans and zaothropes where running away from a small black headed girl. With bright blue eyes chasing after them. In her usual get up, of a white shirt, and some black shorts. "UGGH! WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!!!" The men looked back at the pursuing young girl. Everyone knew her, as she was Hercules daughter, but they also knew that she did more to stop crime, than her own father did. And well, they also knew that this young girl was able to take out most criminal groups by herself... And she packed quiet the punch for a tiny little runt as they had called her before finding out she had been Videl. She had allowed her hair to grow back out, and she seemed to have changed slightly in her personality.

But that had all faded, when they had tried to steal from the shopping plaza's little jewlery store. And then they saw the demon that was rampaging after them. "We need to move faster boys!" The man called out as they started to hussle. A small growl escaped Videl as she dashed even quicker. Pursuing them down like she had been a bulldog set loose on a bone, or something that it considered to be a meal. The group turned a corner, going into a dead end. Videl knew it was a dead end, as she had grown up most of her life here. Videl let out a yell as she rounded the corner, leaping into the air. "YAAAAHHHH" Her foot connected with one of the mans face as he went flying up against the walls with a thud. And a small breathe escaped him letting her know tht he had been knocked out.

"Stop running you THUGS! You'll be brought to the police for justice!" She said as she turned and noticed one of the men pulling something out of his pocket. Without hesitation, Videl flipped towards him, bringing her feet up slamming it into his jaw. "HIIIYAH!" She said driving him up into the air. He came back down with a solid thud. There was two down, and only two more to go. Though the others seemed to have already given up, as they laid their weapons on the ground and covered their heads. "No more! We're sorry!" Videl looked at them before letting a sigh escape her. "Pitiful, you should be ashamed of yourself. Coming out here, in the middle of the city. To make some easy money. To even go so far as to rob an old woman." The group seemed to be cowering now, as if waiting diving punishment.

"Why don't you try earning money the real way? Get a job, do volunteer work, build up some reputation and get hired some where. No you choose to steal! And you know where that gets you? Labeled as a criminal and someone that has to be brought down! regardless of how small the act was, it's still pathetic to watch people become scum, and resulting to threatening those smaller and weaker than them!" She said pointing her fingers at the group. The other two yelped, as moans escaped the other guys. They seemed to lay there motionless. That's when it came to her attention. There was another one wasn't there? She had been chasing five of them... But where did the other one go?

While Videl was busy chasing the criminals, she had no idea that she was about to have a meeting that was a sort of blast from the past, as it were. Of course, Videl wouldn't know that6 this person she was about to meet was a blast from the past, as the two had never really met. No, it would come from a time farther into the past, before either of them were ever really born. Either way, it wouldn't change the fact that it would really be some kind of blast from the past, a second generation meeting of sorts.

A massive pillar flew at high speeds through the air of Hercule City, flying at mach speeds to the destination it was thrown in. It flew through the air much like a missile did, and it flew through the air with a purpose, that purpose being murder, of course. There would be no stopping the pillar that flew the air with such a purpose, especially considering who was riding the thing. Oh no, the person riding the pillar was determined to get where they had to go so that they could make sure that their mission was accomplished, and that they got their money for it.

Very quickly, as the pillar raced into the city, it quickly came into sight by the police, the criminals, and even Videl herself. How could it not? After all, while it was fairly high up in the air, it wasn't so high up it couldn't be seen. No, the pillar was plainly visible, especially to the other criminal that had been running from Videl and was still standing up. The remaining criminal Videl had been chasing had been so stunned by the sight of a pillar flying through the air, that he was unable to react in time for what happened next.

The pillar quickly descended downwards, and slammed itself forcefully into the guy with such power that he literally exploded, the pillar impaling itself diagonally into the ground. As the pillar did so, the person riding on top of it had quickly jumped up into the air before the impact, and then very quickly, landed feet-first onto the pillar, their arms folded behind their back in a formal manner. Everyone who saw this, maybe even Videl, would more than likely be very shocked, both at the gruesome death of the criminal, as well as the entrance the person riding the pillar made.

The person standing on top of the pillar, however, was just as interesting as the pillar they were riding on killing the criminal, and even before that, the pillar cruising through the air like a missile. This person was a young girl of 14 years old, with chocolate brown eyes, and brown hair pulled back into a braided ponytail that had a nice pink bow on the end of it. She was dressed in a pink cheongsam, like the dresses Videl always saw her Mother-In-Law Chi-Chi wear, that had the Symbol for the legendary Crane School of Martial Arts over the heart, and what she couldn't see, the phrase KILL YOU! printed on the back in red, complete with Martial Arts shoes, and a sword strapped to her back.

The young, 14 year old girl looked down at the bloody, exploded remains of the criminal she just killed with an impassive frown on her face, and turned to look at her surroundings. She took quick note of the police that were in the area, as well as none other than Videl Son, nee Satan, daughter of the 'World Champ' Hercule Satan, standing over the still living bodies of her other targets.

However, she didn't address them right away, instead turning to look at where she was in general, and then quickly spoke up to make a comment. "Hm, Fire Mountain is about 3,000 kilometers from Fire Mountain, which I had originally thrown this pillar from in one throw, and managed to make it here in about 55 minutes. My Father would have gotten here in about 35 minutes, if I'm not mistaken. I need more practice on my throwing" she said to herself as she frowned in distaste over the apparent slowness she had gotten here, acting like throwing a pillar from a location 3,000 miles away from Hercule City in one throw wasn't anything special.

With that said and done, she turned back to face the criminals that Videl happened to be standing over, and spoke up. "Members of the Sidewinder Gang, I am here to kill you. It appears that your antics have angered a very rich, and very anonymous, client of mine to the point he is willing to pay millions for each of you I kill. It's quite lucky for me you all were so reckless, and unlucky for you as well. Try to make this interesting, as I hate boring targets that don't struggle" she said to criminals that she knew for a fact were members of the Sidewinder Gang, considering the colors and gang symbol they wore on said clothes of theirs.

The cops had shown up late like always... They where never to a scene on time, even if they had used such speedy hover cars. Half of the time, the young woman did most of the work, on capturing the criminals by herself. All they had to do was come in and take them away by the time she got done with them. That was until something new happened, they all where apprehended besides for one guy. And well, he didn't last very long it seemed, as a giant pillar came arching through the sky. It was letting off a rather obnoxious sound, almost like that of a sharp whistle. It was a little annoying on Videls ears as she stood there. Suddenly turning around, noticing the projection of the pillar she saw someone blending in with the crowd. And with the direction that the fast moving object was coming they'd be crushed underneath it. Yelling out quickly "MOVE!" She was a bit to late as the pillar slammed into the ground crushing the guy beneath it.

Standing there in Silence, Videl looked up to see a small girl riding on top of the pillar. She seemed to be almost Videls height, as she looked around at the chaos around. And then she began to talk about something strange. About her father or something along those lines, but to Videl it meant nothing at the moment, she had just killed someone. Pointing her finger up towards the strange brown headed girl Videl let out a shout. "HEY you! What do you think you're doing?!?! These men have already be reprehended by the police of Hercule City. There's no need for what you've just done!" She said glaring up at the woman, the suspects had already been disarmed, and in custody, well not the one that she had just smushed, but at the moment, Videl didn't know if that person was a criminal or not, she had lost track of one of them. But it was what the girl started saying next about the men behind her. The ones that the police where putting cuffs on. Even though they now stood a bit shocked.

Suddenly Videls fingers pointed up towards the strange girl as she spoke to her. "There will be none of that! You will not be killing these men, as they have to come in for the Justice they deserve! Whether it be by prison or death, we do not have control of it right here and now! If you wish to get to them, you'll have to go through me!" This black haired woman seemed to be feisty, as she squatted down into a fighting stance, raising her fist up into the air. She was wearing her normal pink shirt, with the white tank top over it. And she had on what one could call training shorts. She couldn't really tell what this brown hair was intending to do now, but she knew it was probably no good. Especially as she had just murdered a man, and she wasn't even fazed by what she had just done, and to Videl that was something that one shouldn't take lightly. If you where able to take a life of another being, without so much as flinching, than you where no better than them. Though the outfit she wore, it reminded her of someone before.

She couldn't exactly remember where she had seen it before, but her get up was something strange... It was almost dorky looking too, as if she had been raised by a male. As she wasn't even trying to look like a girl in the slightest. Such a tomboy... Though it was quiet obvious that the woman was set on killing these men behind her. "For someone that acts all mighty... You're picking on people that can't even fight back anymore, as they can't even use their hands!" Videl shouted towards her as she began to move in the way of the criminals. If anything, this woman was certainly different... Especially if she was able to throw a pillar out from fire mountain... Videl had been slacking lately when it came to her training, back then throwing a pillar was something she could do after a while of training with Gohan and his familly. But now it would seem like a damn near impossible task. And if this person threw something of that size from the mountain... Than they had to definitely be strong... At least by her calculations.

The girl had already proven she was stronger than any of the others here, considering she was able to move such a massive object, and if it was true she had thrown it from the mountains, than it would be a losing battle for Videl. And she'd just be getting herself into something she couldn't handle. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened, she remembered fighting people like that, Spopovich was one of them. She had found out later that, the man had his power increased beyond what a normal humans was. Simply due to the majin mark that had been on his forehead. But Videl had just thought that had been a silly tattoo... And well, she didn't see that on the girl in front of her, so that was out of the question for now.

Taoranran blinked for a moment when she heard what Videl had to say, turning to find that the criminals were already being apprehended by the cops. Well, that just won't do at all. Last thing she wanted to do was start a fight with the cops and end up on wanted list. However, at the same time, she couldn't just let her targets get away from her, not when she had managed to find some of them. It would be annoying to just let them go and fail her contract, so she would have to make a decision here in regards to how she should handle this.

So, this was her response. "Oh, that's quite excellent. All of my targets nice and wrapped in a bloody package, complete with bow, just for me. That just makes them easier to kill, in my mind, since they have no way of resisting. Kindly hand them over, officers, lest I need to take them by force" she said in a commanding tone of voice, her eyes narrowing a bit as she delivered her threat, looking very ready to commit violence if it meant getting to her quarries, regardless of how much trouble it got her.

Taoranran raised an eyebrow and turned to look at Videl when she had told her that there would be none of the killing that she came here to do. Taoranran appeared very amused at the comment Videl made, the woman sounding as if she was willing to fight her for the sake of protecting these dirtbags. How amusing such a thing was to her, and she could tell right away who Videl happened to be. She recognized the daughter of that oaf Hercule Satan anywhere. Plus, she knew very well that Videl was married to Son Goku's eldest brat, and even had a daughter with him.

"No killing them, you say? Who's going to stop me, you? The mere fact you think you can order me around and convince me to stop in my attempt to slaughter these worthless peons is laughable. You need more power than I do to even attempt such a thing" she said in a mocking manner as she chuckled in amusement, her hands still folded formally behind her, not getting down from the pillar at the moment. Really, the idea that this lady thinking she was capable of trying to stop her from doing what she was hired to do was laughable.

Then, Videl proceeded to crouch down into her fighting stance, and Taoranran's response was to narrow her eyes and jump off of the pillar she was still standing on, landing on the ground gracefully feet first and crouching down into the Crane Stance. Videl would be perfectly capable of seeing that Taoranran's stance was completely perfect, and showcased years of experience in the style, indicating that she HAD to be master level in the style she had crouched into. Taoranran honed in on her with an intense, hawk-like gaze, looking as if she was ready to move in.

"So, the daughter of the World Champion, the almighty World Champion, Hercule Satan, and the wife of Son Goku's eldest spawn, wishes to get in my way, does she? You are braver than most, and stronger than most I've faced, I admit. The only reason I don't attempt to kill you now for your connection to Son Goku's accursed family is because I promised the Ox Princess to only focus my gaze on Son Goku. Don't force my hand" she said in a cold manner, replying sarcastically and in a mocking manner about Videl's Father, then showing hatred to Son Goku's family, as she narrowed her eyes in an angry manner as she looked at Videl.

Taoranran noticed the way Videl was eying the out the pink-clad teenage Assassin was wearing, and Taoranran couldn't help but smirk when she saw the vague recognition in Videl's eyes. It appeared as if she was trying to recall where she had seen such an outfit before. So, Videl seemed to possess some knowledge of who her father was, but could not summon up the knowledge of him that she had on her own, huh? Well, she'd be glad to fix that.

"Like my outfit, do you? It's an exact replica outfit of the one my Father wears. Since I already know your name, allow me to give you mine. My name is Taoranran, and I am the new Teacher/Master of one of the two oldest Martial Arts Schools in the entire World, the legendary Crane School. I am the Niece of the legendary Crane Hermit Master Shen, who's younger brother happens to be my Father, and who's name you might know. My Father is known as the World's Greatest Assassin, the legendary Taopaipai" she said with a mocking bow, smirking in pride all the while.

When Videl had commented on how, despite how high and mighty Taoranran was acting, she pointed out that she was picking on those that couldn't fight back, considering they couldn't even use their hands. Taoranran's response was to shrug her shoulders in an uncaring manner, appearing as if she didn't care at all about this little factoid. When you're an Assassin, the people you kill don't matter, nor do the circumstances that lead to them being set up for an assassination. In fact, what condition they are in shouldn't really matter either, unless they're even easier to take out than they were thought to be.

"I'm an Assassin, Videl-San, so I tend to take advantage of any situation that I can take when it comes to my targets. It's not my fault that they've been made even easier for me take out, it's their fault for being stupid enough to join a hated gang and commit crime. The Justice System doesn't appear to be working for these goons, otherwise no one would have hired me to take them out" she said with a smirk on her face as she replied back to Videl, the 14 year old Assassin acting extremely cold and uncaring over the whole ordeal.

Videl watched the young woman continue to stand up on the pillar as she seemed to access the situation at hand. When she spoke the next sentence about how it was quiet excellent for them to be all wrapped up like some kind of present the small woman let a low growl escape from her. "They'll do no such thing, there's no way we'll be giving you these prisoners! They're under my protection now, and going to be tried for the crimes, and brought to a real justice than being executed on the spot right here." Videl's eyes seemed to narrow towards the brown haired woman's own eyes There was something about this child, that made her shiver slightly. It was true that it was impressive she threw the pillar as far as she had. When it came down to it though, Videl had seen crazier stuff in her life time, being around Gohan's family. So much so, that she learned a few things about the world she hadn't before.

When Taoranran began to mention in a cynical fashion that it was a mere fact that she would need more power than she did to attempt such a thing. A small smile came across Videl's face as she kept in her semi crouched position. "Well, that's something we both knew. If I was going to stop you, then I'd definitely need more power than you. But we'll never know unless I tried. I can guarantee, I won't give up so easily, no matter how strong my opponent is. If I did, then why would I consider myself the champion of Justice?" Videl said in almost an ignorant tone. One of which people knew her for. Not that it was uncommon for her to be full of herself, but more of the fact that she was one to take on any challenge. Even with how weak she had proven to be in some situations.

She watched as Taoranran pounced off the pillar almost like a cat. Landing on her feet with pure balance, and swiftly reverting to the crane stance. Even with no true martial art's training herself. Videl could tell when a fighter had experience under their belt. Well, it was painfully obvious this girl in front of her had been under years of strict training. Almost as if it had been beaten into her body for years. No one could argue that at this point, as her perfectly defensive stance, made the street fighting style of Videls look like it had been trash. Sure she had learned to fight her own way, she knew that no matter how good she was, a person with real martial arts training could defeat her. Placing a foot further ahead of her, Videls face came to a smile, as she knew she was about to get a challenge of her life time. One in which, she wasn't going to turn down in any way imaginable. She'd stick to what she had said about stopping this woman if she had too.

Suddenly the young woman began talking about her father. Videl was embarrassed by her father more often than not... Still, it was something she wasn't going to let go so easily, when she spoke about Son Goku, Videl remembered that was was the name of Gohan's father. She had only meet him once or twice, the other times the man was off somewhere, and Gohan preferred not to speak about him at times. Mostly because it had been painful for him. She couldn't blame him, when she found out that he had died several times, and each time he went missing. It was generally because he had passed away again... Must be a rough life to have someone you love, ripped away several times over. But the idea that they could always be brought back, probably would make those emotions deaden over time. At least in her opinion it would. Apparently the young woman had sharper eyes than she had originally thought. As she had been able to spot that Videl was muddling over her clothes, trying to figure out where she had seen them before.

Eventually she got her answer, the famous assassin Taopaipai had been her father. It was strange to imagine a guy like that could have a daughter. Especially if he made his life off of killing people. Who knew he would have time to find a girl that he liked. It was puzzling to say the least, but it also brought a smile to her face. "Well, Taoranran, I'd say it's nice to meet you... Unfortunately, I'm going to say under the current situations, it's not to pleasant. Though we do have one thing in common. With that being said, both of our fathers have lost to a child before. As ashamed I am to admit it. They where both beaten by the same person. I remember Gohan telling me about his fathers stories, especially how Goku and Chi-chi originally meet." There was a clear sting to the words Videl had just said. Taopaipai's only blunder was losing to that little brat. Though, it was mostly cause he had forgotten about the grenade he had launched, that eventually caused his own downfall. The fact still remained that both Hercule, and Taopaipai had lost to Goku... Something people would hate to admit in the long run.

Continuing the conversation with Taoranran a nod came from Videl. "Well, as a defender of Justice, I'm sorry I'm going to have to stop you. Regardless of the outcome, I hope it's a fun fight. I'm pretty sure you can put up a better fight than these slobs. My only warning, is when you engage this battle, You'll have the entire's King guard looking for you. Not to mention being on the polices most wanted list. For attacking the world champions daughter. I hate to hide behind such a title, even as useless as they are. I'm pretty sure, you could take all of us on here right now. But in the end, I'm sure there's more assassins than yourself. Who would be happy to take a bounty upon your head. Maybe for vengeance along with a few other things." Videls bright blue eyes seemed to focus over Taoranran right now. She had no openings, and didn't seem to be backing down any time soon. "If it where any other time though. I'd love a good spar with ya! Maybe when you're not trying to kill others hahaha." Tightening her fist slightly, Videl was preparing for an all out assault any moment. Her stance looked sloppy, but it's one that was practice meaning it might not have as many openings as one might think.

Taoranran, as she stayed crouched into her stance and waited to make her move, curled the right side of her lips up into an amused smirk when Videl had said that the cops wouldn't comply with Taoranran's request to hand over the criminals. She talked about how they would be tried for their crimes, and face real justice when they were convicted. It was funny how Videl preached about such goodness and such, thinking that an Assassin would care about things like justice. Assassins cared nothing for justice, only things like cold, hard cash. That was all they were interested in.

"While that's a noble, fair ideal to hold up, justice doesn't pay the bills, money does. I have a perfect, one hundred percent success rate when it comes to my contracts, and I'm not very keen on losing that kind of thing. My Father's record was tarnished by that accursed monster monkey Son Goku, and I'm not about to have you do the same to me. Kindly step aside and let me get my mission over with so I can collect the pay I was promised" Taoranran said to her with a nonchalant shrug of her shoulders, shrugging off the talks about justice.

Videl had went on about how they both knew that she would need more power to try and stop Taoranran, but that they would never know unless she tried, and that she couldn't call herself a champion of justice if she just stood by and let Taoranran kill the men. Taoranran nodded her head in understanding, knowing that she was right. She could respect that Videl knew she probably stood no chance against Taoranran, but she had to stick to her beliefs, even if it got her hurt. The 14 year old Assassin could respect that kind of conviction.

"Hmph, I have to admit, I respect that kind of conviction and hardcore standing by your beliefs. You certainly are not a coward, or a hypocrite who throws away their morals and beliefs when someone they're scared of comes along. First time in a while since I've met someone like that, at least, who I haven't killed" Taoranran said with an amused smirk on her face, replying to Videl about how she was sticking by her beliefs and stood proud and ready to thrown down the gauntlet and face Taoranran head on in a one-on-one match. Taoranran liked that kind of thing.

Videl had then said that, under normal circumstances, it would have been a pleasure to meet her, but it wasn't the case here, though admitted they have something in common, which was Son Goku beating their fathers. Being reminded of that failure only caused Taoranran to scowl in irritation, even more so due to the fact that her glorious Father was compared to that buffoon Hercule. Still, Videl had a point, she supposed. "My Father had Goku dead to rights when they first met, and had it not been for that Dragon Ball stuffed in Son Goku's Gi that protected him from my Father's patented Dodon Ray Technique, Son Goku would be long dead" Taoranran said for a moment, before she smirked.

"However, I could say the same about the time your Father met my Father. When my Father was still new to the Assassin business, your Father, who was a Martial Arts student of the Master of Satan Castle, and his Master happened to find my Father in the same bar they were in. Your father, being a moron insulted my Father's hair, which caused my Father to murder his Master and leave your Father lying nearly dead in a puddle of his own blood. My Father nearly ended both yours and the Son line"[/b[ she explained to Videl with a smirk.

Taoranran let out an amused laugh over Videl claiming that the King's Guard would be after her for trying to kill the World Champ's Daughter. Taoranran found it deeply amusing that Videl seemed so sure that the King's Guard, and other Assassins, would be after her head. She was the second greatest Assassin in the entire world, so the chances of her being defeated by anyone other than those who she knew for a fact were stronger than her was laughable.

"I happen to be working with a military association of the King's Guard known as Final Heaven, so I have immunity. Besides, I am the second greatest Assassin in the entire world, my Father being better than I am. I've been training how to fight and kill people literally since I was old enough to walk, thanks to my Father. I've made my first kill when I was a mere 5 years old, and I was taught to enjoy it, as well as enjoy the pain of my victims. Those who come after me, I'll kill them and pile up their corpses so I can make one big inferno" she said with a smirk, before initiating the attack, lunging at her and unleashing a quick barrage of kicks at Videl.
