Bora lay in his bed. The darkness of night still hung in the air, but he found himself wide awake. Hundreds of thoughts running through his mind. He turned on his side and picked up the cellphone lieing on the dresser . A bright light emanated from it's screen as he read the time as 2 am. He let out a sigh as he tossed his legs off the side of the bed and rubbed his face. The coldness of his mechanical arm causing goosebumps to run down his torso and right arm. He shivered for a second as he climbed to his feet. His feet growing cold as it touched the cold tiled floor. Slowly he made his way through the apartment. Lights automatically switching on and off as he moved through each room. Once reaching the lounge, he walked over to the massive glass pane window and stared out to see the still alive city even at that hour. He looked up to the massive apartment building that he had visited many times before getting to work. Inhaling a deep breath he closed his eyes and uttered the single word "Today" You see. Bora had been thinking...for weeks now. He needed to start anew. He needed to get out of a certain Android Terror's shadow and make a life for himself. Doing this was not something he thought of lightly. He had grown fond of the Gatz family and had come a long way with them...but he needed this. He grabbed a paper and pen before taking a seat at the dinning table. Tapping the pen on his forehead he thought of what he should write till finally he put pen to paper and wrote his true thoughts.
Bora neatly folded the letter and placed it in an envelope before grabbing a rucksack. Memories of the banter that Paul, Gat and himself had during training moved through his mind, causing him to chuckle as he packed 2 changes of clothing from his cupboards. The rest he left untouched. Another memory of the small arguments Chi-chi and he had brought a gentle smile to his lips as he shook his head and packed 3 water bottles into the bag. He slung the bag over his shoulder and placed the letter on the kitchen counter as he made his way to the door. With one last look at the apartment he smirked "Goodbye" he said in a hushed yet happy tone and the door slowly came to a close. The door clicking as it shut signified that this door was closing for this part of his life and a new one would open. WC: 847 |

"Thank you Gatz for bringing me back to the apartment. I need to grab a couple more items for the baby, and then we can return to the base. I won't be gone for too long." She rested her hand on Gatz's arm and got off his motorcycle. In a hurry, she rushed into the apartment to gather more belongings. Since the danger had been more intense the past couple of weeks, Gatz found it necessary to move the family to the base. He waited for her outside while she entered into the building she called her home since their move from Hercule City to Gatz's Haven. She was sad to leave it, but she understood the reasoning behind her husband's concern. She too wanted their daughter to be safe. The complex was cold and empty, yet tidy due to it being untouched. It was rebuilt after the incident that occurred a month ago where Goku assaulted her. Those thoughts were distant from her mind when she entered into the lavish suite. Her attention fell on what she needed to grab. She reached for several items like bottles, diapers, and clothes. They were stuffed in a small bag that she brought with her. As she took more personal items and placed them in the bag, she stumbled upon a white envelope. Her head turned left to right with slight paranoia that someone may be in there with her. There was no one else in the apartment from what she sensed, therefore, she reached for the envelope. "What is this doing here? It better not be one of Paul's lovely fan hussies again." She mumbled to irritation. She took a closer look at the envelope and noticed that it was different from the letters Paul received in the past. It was addressed to Gatz and herself. 'I wonder what it could be." Gently, she opened the envelope and pulled out the letter that was neatly folded into the envelope. Her slender fingers unfolded the piece of paper and straightened out its crinkles. Naturally, she read the piece. Her black gems for eyes scanned the piece from left to right. The letter was written by Bora. She laughed at first because of the memories that surfaced in her mind about how they first met, and the arguments they had. She found them ridiculous now. At first, she was not thrilled that Bora would be her body guard. She disliked it. However, as she got to know him, she began to see him as a son. He was a polite boy with a good heart. When he told her about his parents especially his father, it was then she realized that she wanted nothing more than to be a mother to him. It was odd how two strangers, who never met, could connect on a level that mirrored that of a family member. She loved him as if he was her son and for this reason, the letter touched her gentle core. There were moments during her read where she thought inwardly at his words as to why he wrote the letter, and where he was headed next. ![]() He was eager to prove that he was a man in his own right. She did not understand this concept because to her he was already one. At Final Heaven, alongside her husband, he was respected and cherished. He was an important piece to what they wanted to accomplish on Earth. It pained her the further she dove into the emotions that were behind Bora's written words. In the letter, he explained how he did not feel that he could grow if he stayed with them. Since she was a mother, saying good bye to someone she saw a son was awful. She tried not to cry. Her pride refused to let any tears come out. Try as she may, the tears of sorrow came forth anyway. When she was done with the letter, she let her arm fall to her side in defeat. What had she done wrong? Her innocent, jet eyes watered in sadness when she reached the end of the letter. There was a squeak that came from the door. Sadly, her eyes connected with the man who entered. "H-he's gone..." Her tender tone broke with heartache.

Kicking the stand to his motorcycle, he placed both feet on the ground while waiting for his wife to return. The purring growl of the engine keeping him cool for the time being. ![]() She was taking her sweet time gathering all the crap that they didn't need coming to Final Heaven. He was moving her permanently to the base not taking any chances with how many freaks were lurking in the world. Looking at his watch, he was losing his patience. "I told her ass five minutes." Turning off the engine of his motorcycle, he headed inside with his hands in his pockets. He was picturing her grabbing everything in the apartment and trying to fit it all in the small bag she took with her. He pushed the door open and saw his prized possession with a note in her hand. Seeing her tears, he broke the distance before she could say a word. She was talking about how someone was gone. "Give me that." He forced it out of her hand. Glancing at the letter, he took it and crumpled it in his hand knowing exactly who it was from. He tossed it in the trash not bothering reading the details. It was probably some sentimental rubbish considering how it got his girl to tears. He looked down into her pure, sweet eyes almost wanting to find Bora and bash his face in for doing useless shit. His arms wrapped around her tiny frame pulling her into a hug protectively knowing that this emotional bullshit was damaging to a girl like his. ![]() If the freak wanted to leave, why bother saying a word. Just get up and get your ass moving. It was the problem with this generation. They always had to say what they were going to do instead of just doing it. "Am I going to have to snap his neck? I know he's gone. Don't got to tell me twice. I could see how he was looking to get out of this place weeks ago. Ghost freak couldn't find what he was looking around here." Hearing her explain what was wrong, he used his thumb to wipe away her tears. He got what she was saying. Realizing Bora was going on his own to find something of his own, the terror took one glance at Chichi. Studying her face, the terror realized how luckily skilled he was at having nabbed the finest piece in the Universe. He didn't say that shit out loud. "He's a man Chi. It's what we men do. He ain't happy here because he don't have anything to call his own. His ass will be back once he finds what he's looking for. It's gonna be a pain in the damn ass finding someone useful in this shit hole. Good thing I'm the only beast you need protecting you." Smirking arrogantly, it was true. His need for body guards were useless because none of them could protect his prized possession like him. "Just know the reason he left wasn't because of you." Taking another look at her, he didn't say the rest that was on his mind. Bora was going out trying to make a name for himself. The terror knew what that was all about. Knowing the white haired freak and how he saw the terror's mate as a mother, he was probably going out to prove to Chi that he was something great. She had that thing about her that got men wanting to prove shit for her. Smirking at his fortunate, he hit the jack pot. His kissed her temple while stroking her locks possessively. ![]() "Now stop crying and lets get going. I'm taking you out to dinner and that's an order. Just you and me. No more crying." Giving her an order, he took her by the hand and led her out of the apartment. Taking one look back at the trash, he made a lasting statement. "You better not show your pale face around here again unless you got something worth showing me." This were his last words to Bora's note. WC: 732 Edited by Gatz, Apr 29 2015, 09:08 AM.
