It had only been two days since Gohan got out of the hyperbolic time chamber and though he was in there for a year, only a week had pasted in the real world, which hardly seemed much time at all. Yet inside the hyperbolic time chamber, Gohan had been able to regain some of the power he had left dormant for years, being a married man with a young daughter. And for that he was pleased, yet he knew he still had a long way's to go if he ever expected to regain ALL of his previous strength and then surpass it. But it was a start, a great start no less. And now he had to capitalize on it, being relentless in his pursuit to dig out what he left buried deep inside of him. Which brought him to Mount Paozu, the place he was born and raised. The place where Goku, his father, would train him against Chi-Chi's, Gohan's mother, wishes. The place where Gohan meet Icarcus, a kind and sweet dragon. The place where he thought his little brother and his wife Videl how to fly. The place he did all of that and more. So it only made sense to Gohan that he would return to his old stomping ground to train.

Arriving to a nice open space, Gohan took a moment to look around, not only to make sure there was no one or creatures around that could possibly end up getting hurt unintentionally by his intense training but to also take everything in, letting his mind wandered to old childhood memories. Once that moment was up, Gohan nodded quickly, a silent approval of what he was planning to do before focusing all his attention on gathering his Ki inside of him, letting it swell in him as it increase till he was confident he had collected enough.

Letting out a mighty cry, Gohan erupted as a huge flash of light blinded the entire area, a violent wind picking up and torturing the nearby trees and vegetation, scaring off whatever animals may have been there as well. A few seconds went by till the light subsided, fading away to nothingness as the wind decreased as well till it only surrounded a couple inches around Gohan's entire body. Gohan stood there, eyes tinted green, hair spiky and tall in a mustard shade of yellow, his muscles bulging and menacing. Having not only tapped back into his Super Saiyan abilities inside the hyperbolic time chamber, Gohan had once again mastered control of it, enabling himself to sustain the transformation for quite a lengthy amount of time. In fact inside the hyperbolic time chamber, Gohan spent the last two months solely in his super saiyan state, similar to the way he did with his father when he was a kid training with Goku inside the time chamber. And from that, becoming a super saiyan was as second nature as breathing. And so as he stood there, once again able to become a super saiyan, a small sly smirk appeared on his face, preparing to ever expand on his skills and abilities.

For he had not forgotten the whole purpose for doing all of this. His plan to defend and protect Earth and its people was still near and dear to his heart. Gohan did not know what would come of it all, but he knew in the end, whatever it came to be, he would be right in the thick of it. Now that he was out of the hyperbolic time chamber, he could not only train but start recruiting for the cause. A cause both noble and selfless. A cause once lead by his own father, Goku. A cause that was now his, a birth right of sorts. The question was, just who would he recruit. He had some names in mind, some of them involved in the same cause many years ago. And though Gohan would gladly accept familiar faces, he did not want to discriminate. After all, time had passed by greatly and it had been quite some time since the last hurrah of the original gang. A new generation was born and ready to carry the torch that the older generation passed to them. It just needed guidance and leadership. And that was what Gohan planned on providing. So whether it was forming an alliance with family and people he called friends, working with new eager souls or a mix of both, it did not matter to Gohan. As long as in the end, the spirit of the cause was always the same. The complete protection of his beloved planet and those who lived in it.

This meant that those who did take this cause up, including himself, would both have to have the will and strength to do so. For one could not have one without the other. It was a sad truth. Heart meant nothing if you did not have the necessary skills, and in the same token, being the world's strongest fighter did not mean a thing if you did not have the will of a warrior. This was something that Gohan prided himself in pushing himself to obtain. Both the heart and the strength of a fierce noble warrior. Just like his father, just like Mister Piccolo. Two men he looked up to dearly, with the utmost respect and honor.

A storm of evil was coming, Gohan could sense it. One that if left unchecked would destroy Earth and its population. An evil that would be new to Gohan yet would not deterred him from fighting for all that was righteous and good. For this storm would come and he would be right there to greet and send it back to which it came from.

"Right then, no time to waste," Gohan murmured just above a whisper as his expression turn serious and filled with determination, "Earth needs a hero, many more. And I for one plan on being one of them!"

High in the sky above a large mountainous region of the planet, Avako the full-blooded Saiyan woman flies through the air like a supersonic missile. There would be a blue aura shrouding her body while in flight, allowing her to reach optimum speeds. She’s out training her flight skills, as she does every day to keep her skills well exercised. She would only have to fly another thousand miles or so before stopping to turn back and fly back to the Crane School where her master would be waiting for her to start her training for that day.

While in mid-flight something caught Avako’s attention, a sudden burst of immense power flooded her senses and caused her to stop dead in the air to focus more on it. The power was very strong according to her senses, and was coming from a specific location in the mountains. Avako frowns as she looks in the direction the power is coming from, curious as to what exactly it is. Her only option would be to take flight and follow her senses to figure it out.

Avako once again took flight and headed in the direction of the powersource. The trail taking her deeper into the mountains, the further she went the more she can sense this energy. She almost didn’t want to find out what it was, considering the energy was more powerful than her own, but she doesn’t let power gaps scare her. Her curiosity was driving her forward.

She found herself within observable distance from Mount Paozu and stopped herself from flying any further. Her eyes focused on a large open space located on the mountain, and immediately spots the bright gold aura shrouded figure standing within it. Avako observes that the figure was an adult male with bright yellow spiky hair. His power was enormous, which made her on edge.

But her curiosity was too much to ignore, and ultimately forced her to confront the man. Avako slowly moves in on the man with blond hair until she would land in the open space, a close enough distance to be seen and heard. She quickly calls out to him in a loud, commanding voice, “Who are you? Why are you charging your energy?” She asks only because she assumes the man can keep his power level low, because when she sensed his energy it was an instant and sudden burst instead of always being present in this area. He must know there are people who can sense power levels, so why does he release such a mass of it?

Gohan had just transform into a Super Saiyan and was about to jump right into his training when he heard a voice. It sounded feminine and full of curiosity. Caught off guard, Gohan turned his head towards the direction of the voice and noticed a woman standing there. Gohan said nothing at first, not sure what to even say. He knew Mount Paozu was not an isolated place despite being quite remote yet he had not expected to come across anyone, especially a stranger. Yet in the same token, perhaps it was fate, after all he did want to seek out new faces sooner rather than later. So scratching the back of his head, Gohan spoke.

"Oh hello Miss. I didn't know anyone was around. I didn't disturb you did I? I apologize if I did. I thought I was alone, so I was training. Perhaps I should have been more careful," Gohan replied with a laugh.

Not answering the woman's question right away, Gohan took a step forward, completely forgetting he was still in his super saiyan state as he was now curious.

"My name is Gohan, Miss. What's your name?" Finally introducing himself before noticing the long black tail that was attached to the woman's body, "Hey wait a minute...you're a saiyan, aren't you? I didn't know there were other saiyans on Earth...other than my own family and friends that is."

As he spoke, Gohan silently read the woman's energy, feeling a faint energy, not that strong but full of potential. This got Gohan thinking. Just exactly how many saiyans were on Earth nowadays and how many of them had the same potential that this woman had. Perhaps, there were more like her, and perhaps some would share the same beliefs he did. Perhaps this woman was one of those few.

"Raditz...sometimes I question you but Okran I'm sorry...we all have to make choices in our life and I plan on protecting the planet and this universe, I won't lie I'm not like normal Sayians maybe I will be called soft and weak for this but I don't care. This is my story and I won't be killing innocent people just for fun like other Sayians." Tanya muttered to herself flying over head towards a Mountain Area. She sighed she knew her son may hate her for this but her mind was made up as she landed onto the ground in the near by area with a smile she knew she was making the right choice.

Tanya landed and blinked at one of the pepole she saw who had a very similiar outfit to that of her master Krillin, very strange but she figured she would shrug it off for now as she walked forward with a smile on her face. She knew she was making the right decision on where her Loyalty stood. She had her family this was true but if Raditz was going to do nothing but teach their son how to destroy she needed to be ready. She remembered hearing about a group known as the Legendary Z-fighters. Maybe she would meet them one day she didn't know but that was in the past.

"Hey!" Tanya called out with a smile coming up to the two fighters with a smile as her tail came out from wrapped around her waist with a grin. She was glad to have met some new pepole some new freinds was always nice. She wondered though had she meant these two before? Probally not. "I don't think I've seen you two around here before than again I haven't been on this planet all that long myself." Tanya said with a small chuckle towards her comment as her tail re wrapped around her body as she waited for one of the two to respond.

Avako stood before this “Gohan” with a serious and on-guard look in her emerald green eyes and her arms crossed along her white plate Saiyan armor tunic. Her entire outfit looked like something Vegeta would wear; a shoulder guardless tunic overtop of a dark colored, skin-tight undersuit. The female Saiyan’s figure was that of a true warrior; enough muscle mass to give her strikes power, and slender enough in her frame to allow for quick and agile movements. Her hair was jet black, very spiky, and medium in length that ended at the base of the back of her neck. Basically, she looks like a proper Saiyan warrior.

On the surface, the man in front of her didn’t seem threatening, besides his aura, and he stated he was merely training because he believed he was alone. He seems harmless, but it isn’t smart to assume such things. He has the powerlevel to do major damage to this planet, and that is something Avako cannot shrug off. Though it’s not like Avako truly cares for this world personally, her Master just so happens to live on it, so she cannot allow her training to be in jeopardy.

He noticed her tail and realised her Saiyan blood after introducing himself, so he does know about her people. Avako decided it was time to do the same, “My name is Avako.. and yes I am a Saiyan. I came here recently so I’m relatively new he~” She blinks her eyes for a moment and looked at Gohan’s hair color and lack of tail. “Did you say your family are Saiyans? Are you a half breed? Because your hair color and lack of a tail seems to suggest you’re not all Saiyan.. if any at all..” She asked skeptically, flicking her tail a bit.

Then suddenly another Saiyan showed up, another woman to be exact, and immediately began speaking. This was a strange coincidence, Gohan not believing there were any other Saiyans than the small group he knows and suddenly two females of the race happen to pop up. Avako blinked her eyes at the sight of the new Saiyan, her arms still crossed and her face still harboring a cold look.

Gohan had been so caught up by the woman's tail that he did not even notice the outfit she was wearing. But given the chance to do so, he noticed that along with the tail, she was decked out in traditional saiyan gear, least the kind of gear he wore as a kid on Planet Namek when he was fighting Frieza. This got Gohan thinking even more.

"Well it's nice to meet you Avako. Like I said I haven't come across many saiyans outside my family and friends, so this is quite the pleasant surprise," He said with a warm friendly smile, giving a tamer expression towards his menacing appearance. Having seen her blink several times as it had been her turn to look him over, making her first assumptions of him, Gohan laughed slightly, further lighten his expression, "Well not all of my family, miss. My mother is human. Her name is Chi-Chi, but my father, Goku, is an full-blooded saiyan. So I'm half-saiyan, like my little brother, Goten. Then I have a daughter, Pan, who is an quarter-saiyan as my wife, Videl is also human...as for my tail, I had one but it was cut off when I was a kid on the count that I caused a lot of unnecessary damage and harm."

As he said this, another woman appeared on the scene, causing Gohan to blink in shock and awe, immediately scratching the back of his head as he could not believe his luck. Just a few moments ago, he was alone about to train and now here he was confronted by not one but two women. On top of that, the new arrival had a tail two and like the first stranger seemed friendly enough.

"Hey there!" Gohan said with a small wave to Tanya, "So you're new to Earth too huh? Hmm interesting. My name is Gohan by the way, Miss. And you are?"

Wow, two female saiyans in one day, I sure did pick a good day to come back to Mount Paozu, Gohan thought to himself as he chuckled a bit before noticing Avako standing there and immediately hearing his mother's words in his head telling him to be a gentleman and introduce his guests to each other.

"Oh yeah, where are my manners, this is Avako, Miss. She is a saiyan as well and she is new to this planet as well."

"You said your name is Gohan?" She asked her face going pale and gulped great just freaking great of all the pepole she was to meet today it had to be the man who her husband helped kill during his first trip to earth but hopefully she wouldn't have to explain..she still did feel guilty about what her husband did but that could wait for now she was glad she got to meet some new friends. Still she couldn't help but feel that some evil was heading towards Earth and she wanted to be ready for anything that came her way.

"Anyways nice to meet you Gohan my name is Tanya as you can probably guess I'm a Sayian." She said with a smile bowing respectfully towards Gohan before lifting her head back up tilting her head with a smile. Today was a rather good day she was glad she met some new people here today but she couldn't help but notice something out of the Ordinary with Gohan. He had the black Sayian hair color style yet he didn't have a tail something was very off about this. Was he a Sayian or wasn't he? Shaking her head she would worry about it latter.

"So what brings you two out to the Mountains?" Tanya asked with a small smile looking between the two of them and waited for a response from either of them. She didn't know what to expect but still..When someone came out to the Mountains it normally meant either training or something else maybe he had something with his past here? Tanya figured it wasn't her place to Question and it was best to let it be. It was Gohan's life not hers after all.

After the events of Through the Fire and Flames...

Mei slowly walked through the charred remains of what was once the beautiful Mount Paozu forests. All that was left of the battle between her and Cineza, and the subsequent betrayal by Old Master Fuega, were burnt husks of trees and a landscape covered in ashes. What were once lush green trees and vibrant foliage, homes of animals of all shapes and sizes, were little more than charred remains of combat forced onto Mei by a psychotic pyromaniac who wielded the Kasai with reckless abandon.

The battle took its toll on everyone involved save for the traitorous Fuega. Though Mei was victorious, she did not want to kill Cineza. Fuega stepped in and made the fatal blow herself. Now Mei dragged her battered, bruised, and burned body through the ashes of Mount Paozu, her ki dreadfully low but only needing enough to carry herself through the mountain. Her mind swam with so many thoughts; the betrayal of her master chief among them. Instead of focusing on that sordid subject, she focused solely on making her way down the mountain and towards some safe place where she could get some rest and recover her strength.

Every step caused the nerves throughout Mei's body to feel like a thousand needles stabbed them over and over. Mei held on to her left arm as it hung limply at her side. While she was sure her arm was not broken, it did take a lot of effort and strain to raise it. Never before had Mei taken a beating like that. But physical wounds could heal. Flesh could mend itself slowly but surely. Emotional wounds caused by the sharp sting of betrayal... those would take a long time to recover from. Mei was not sure she could ever recover from that.

The walk through the forest was hauntingly silent, as if the wind rustling the branches of Mount Paozu's vegetation were goading her into taking on her dark thoughts. Instead, Mei searched with her senses for something else to focus on. Some leagues away, Mei felt a very powerful presence quickly rise in ki. She stared in the direction of the energy and wondered if it was a good idea to head in that direction. In her weakened state, she could not defend herself from any real threats. She didn't even believe that she could fly. Still, her options were limited. Thankfully, her own ki signature was low thanks to the expenditure when she faced Cineza.

It took some time for Mei to make it to the ki signature, only to notice a familiarity with the region. Soon she detected several more entities who possessed ki which gave Mei some degree of pause. However, she continue to walk forward until she recognized the ki that radiated so much power

"G... Goku..." Mei breathed out. She approached the familiar ki of the kind yet extremely powerful martial artist Son Goku, only to see several other people she did not know around the a man who appeared similar to Goku. Mei stood on the crest of a hill and looked down. Who were these people? More importantly, were they friendly?

"Well it's very nice to meet you Tanya," Gohan said in a polite manner as he smiled and nodded slightly. Still in his Super Saiyan form, Gohan put his arms behind his head, stretching and pulling on them to work out the kinks before speaking again, "Well like I told Avako here, I was just about to train myself. I was not expecting to come across one, let alone two female saiyans, but I guess today is just my lucky day."

Letting out a laugh, Gohan put his arms down as he glanced at Avako then back at Tanya. Talking to the two saiyan women, Gohan had not noticed a three figure approaching them till it was just a few yards from him. Turning his head sharply to his left, the elder son of Goku looked up towards the hill as his eyes narrowed, searching for what was creating that faint but definite energy signature. Gohan was puzzled. He had already been confront but two individuals in a matter of minutes and now a three one was coming forth as well. Perhaps it was all a trap, planned and devised solely to capture Gohan. But what would be the reason? Sure he had enemies and there were some that believed by coming after him that they would lure his father out. But Avako and Tanya didn't seem the type to be malicious and vile like that. Then again Gohan had only just met them, so he still couldn't be sure about it.

Still he couldn't afford to be so quick to assume either way. So being comfortably cautious, Gohan motioned for Avako and Tanya to look where he was looking with his hand, pointing up at the hill.

"Can you two sense that energy reading? It keeps flickering in and out, like someone is on the verge of dying or passing out. I'm going to investigate, someone could be hurt. I hate to cut our little conversation short but you two can feel free to come with me. After all there is no telling what is up on top of that hill."

As Gohan relayed this to the two saiyan women, he took off, pushing off the ground to fly into the air and sped off towards hilltop.

Upon arriving, he could see yet another woman. But unlike Avako and Tanya, this one did not have a tail and appeared to be closer to human than saiyan. Gohan could always see that the woman was indeed about to collapse as she wore scars and bruises all over. Her body also smelt like burnt ash as if she had walked through fire and was lucky enough to survive. Descending right in front of the woman, Gohan rushed to her aid, as he immediately let her lean against him.

Being in his super saiyan state, he was able to hold her up with no effort at all as his expression was filled with genuine concern.

"Are you ok, Miss? What happened, Miss? How badly hurt are you? Are there others who need help?" Gohan was purposely hitting her with many questions at once for two reasons. One he was worry that a situation was going on that needed the utmost focus and attention, one that he could be involved in aiding immediately if he knew all the facts and two, to see if she was even conscious enough to respond.

Holding the woman against him, letting the woman use his own weight to keep herself up, Gohan did his best to keep the woman talking or at the very least showing signs that she was alive.
