A line of cars were lined up on the outskirts of the Gatz's Haven. Gatz Haven had strict laws for entering into the city with procedures. It did not matter who or what entered into the city because everything had to be investigated by the patrols.

Posted Image

Since the city had borders, there were security measures taken before a traveler could proceed into the city. Bel Zephyra gazed out the tinted window of her limo at the long line of vehicles while she patiently waited for their turn to be checked and cleared for city entrance. After she had a long trip to Central City to discuss world affairs, she had no hurry to return to the city. She enjoyed the long limo rides.

Posted Image

The limo's exterior rumbled with the music that sounded inside the limo from the bass system that Gatz has installed for her entertainment. There were screens inside the flashy vehicle that played the music video that went along with the beat of the music.

Posted Image

As she watched how the singers danced in the video, she copied their movements the best she could.

Her shoulders shimmied while her feet tapped along the spacious interior. "I see the aliens. I see the aliens." she sang along with the music. Though she had a blast, her limo driver had pools of sweat drip down his cheeks. His skin looked pale. He was at the brink of a nervous breakdown.

Glancing at the dashboard, he groaned when he noticed the 7:55 time. The amount of traffic that lined up to get into the city, before them, moved slower than usual. He would be late in his promise. He had been ordered to bring the boss' wife home at 8:00 and if he failed to do bring her on time, even if she had been late by a minute, he would be killed. The boss never retracted his blunt threats either from the rumors he heard from co workers. The reason the limo driver took the job was because of the good pay, but he had been warned that the limo drivers had a short life expectancy. "Gatz is going to kill me if we are late!" he thought to himself because he did not want to worry Bel who danced in the back seat.

Gatz's Haven... a highly advanced city built around the protection of the superior military like force that strives in the center of the city, adding new recruits to their numbers everyday. The city is also bordered, making access limited to those that are not good in nature. The city's patrols do an expert job, making sure nothing gets by without them noticing, be it on the ground or through the air, if you're coming into the city, you're going in with good intentions.

But, what intentions does the young Avery Kurzama have to come back to Gatz's Haven? Dawning a red cloak as it drifts through the breeze, he stood in line for the patrol to check everyone that entered. With him, since the very beginning, is the little robotic companion RECA. Simply an AI with a camera for a head, that floats freely through the air, all the while speaking in little metallic chirps. The little companion rested neatly on the shoulder of Avery, as he looks forward throught he line as it slowly proceeds. People walking through the metal detectors, getting checked for anything that they would have on them that would be considered dangerous.

Avery looks down to his metal shoes, knowing fully well that they were nothing to be worried about, but would have to explain what they did. He didn't bring anything with him besides money for a hotel that he would stay at for the time while he was here, and his music player, so he should have the line more quickly. He then looked to RECA, as his faced dropped, wondering how the gaurds would take to her being around him. However, that would be soon as the line proceeded forward.

He saw a irritated young teenager walk back from the patrol, seemed that he had something bad and was forced to turn back. He quickly looks back to the partol and sees one of the guards throw what seemed like a bag into the disposal bin as it was zapped into dust. Avery rolls his eyes, knowing what that might've been.

"I swear... people think they can smuggle things so easily nowadays. Hopefully Chi doesn't think us like that Reca, that'd be bad. Though, I've been hearing rumors go around that she's not there anymore, but it won't hurt to check it out anyway, right?" Avery says to his little robotic companion, as she chirps in agreement. These two were always together, no matter how you see them, they were stuck like peas in a pod. It's been recorded that these two, specfically Avery, that they were of a high threat. Something must've happened before, perhaps that is why he's here? The answer still is uncertain.

As the line proceeds, it came to Avery as he was first looked at with suspisious glances. They were given a signal, as one of the guards retreated somewhere, as another walks forward. " Sir, the little robot, explain its use" the guard said in a grizzly voice, making sure that Avery would answer him straight.

He simply sighed and picked up the shaking RECA, holding her forward gently. "She's an AI I designed, all she can do is take pictures with her lens at the moment." he answered sternly

"At the moment?" the guard questioned

"I plan to do some upgrades in the future so that she can have a body of her own, she's been asking for one for ages. But, all she does right now, is take pictures, nothing else." Avery stated, putting the shaking RECA back on his shoulder, which in turn allowed her to retreat into his cloak.

The guard looked Avery up and down, before saying "Those shoes look abnormal, what are they?"

Avery sighed again, quickly stating "They're surfing shoes that my father designed for me about six years ago, they expand at the base, but only when I need them to... like cross the sea."

The guard nods slowly, pointing to the right "Go over there, we'll have to scan your upper body since you can't go through the metal detector normally."

Avery nodded as he walks over to where the guard told him to go, giving a slight irritated sigh as he's being forced through this. Though he's biting through as much as he can before he expells his irritation. But as he gets to the other guards with scanners, they ask to remove anything he has on his person and put it on the desk. So, he takes out his music player and puts it on the nearby desk, also asking RECA to sit there.

After a quick scan with the guards, Avery grabs his stuff as the guards give him a confused look. They quickly shake their heads, one of the head guards giving him the go ahead. Avery nodded and continued on his way with RECA on his shoulder, his hands in his coat pockets. As he passes by through the last gate, he feels something nip his neck. He quickly runs his hand across his neck, looking at it before shrugging and continuing forward.

The great Gatz's Haven, a lot more louder than the last time he was here. Certainly has gotten popularity over the course he's been away, but all the more better for the military to be more protective. The cars were coming out slowly, as they took a more indepth run through for suspisious onlookers. But now that he's in the city once more, Avery has a mission to find a friend. He's been having more and more of the urges to fight, even though he's a pasifist most of the time, and its gotten worse, leading to nearly killing. Both him and RECA realize that something's wrong, but he has no one else to go to, as anyone else he meets simply avoids him due to his appearance being demonic in a sense.

He shakes off the memories of the previous events, hoping that it wouldn't come to that anymore. He looks to the cars that pass by, seeing their designs and how the light reflects off of the metal, giving him a distraction so that he could get more of a focus to get to the military branch, he needs to find out what's happening with him.

The digital clock on the dashboard hit eight o clock when the limo pulled up to the boarder patrol. Bel Zephyra stepped out of the vehicle, allowing the border patrols to check the vehicle thoroughly. When stepped out of the vehicle, the bass inside the car shook the vehicle's exterior. The music sounded for other civilians, stuck in traffic, to hear too. The three patrols searched the limo inside and out as they were shown to do because of the potential threats that could enter into the city by a variety of means. Finding no suspicious items in the car, they focused their attention on the limo driver and the woman who they had to check.

The limo driver tapped his foot along the pavement, standing in front of the vehicle while he feared the worst. He had not arrived with Bel in time. The boss would have his head. Smoking a cigarette, he had other reasons to be nervous too. In his necklace, he had certain substances that were illegal to enter into the city. He had the illegal drugs because he worked for a King Pin inside the city who did most of his drug trades through people. It was for the extra money. The limo job, working under a powerful man like Gatz, had given the driver special privileges, thus, gave him more access to parts in the city.

Normally, Zephyra did not allow anyone to touch her due to the danger that came to the individuals who did. Her husband, Gatz, did not tolerate any to touch her and if someone did, that someone usually met a terrible fate. This situation had been different, meaning she had to get the same treatment as everyone else. For one, Gatz kept their identities hidden from the public to avoid annoyances. Secondly, it involved her safety. The border control had been set up due to the ruthless androids that could enter. As irritated as the people were about the city's policies, the system had been implemented for their safety.

A male patrol greeted her with a metal detector in hand. "Can you turn around for me Ma'am?" he asked politely. He had no idea that the woman was wedded with the owner of the city. Being professional, he waited for her to turn around. He caught a peak at her figure, but ignored his initial instincts to flirt. He had a job to do and an important one. Running his hand down her sides, he felt no harmful items. She passed the inspection.

Posted Image

Nodding in agreement, the Iron Fan Princess turned around after the patrol ordered her to. Her arms rose into the air while a male patrol patted her body to check for weapons. She had no items on her when the officer checked her. Being ticklish, she laughed when he patted her.

Posted Image

The patrol chuckled at the woman when she giggled. "Clear. You have a nice day ma'am." the male officer shouted at the others, providing Bel clearance to enter into the city.

Posted Image

Zephyra smiled when she passed. "Thank you. You have a nice day too." she replied to the gentleman. Then she opened the back door to the limo, waiting for her limo driver to be cleared too.

Getting patted, the driver's face turned a pale white while being checked. This was not the first time he had been through the border procedure, but he risked the chances of expulsion or death every time he went through. His underground operations hadn't been discovered yet. The patrol finished his pat down of the limo driver, being as thorough as possible, but failed to locate anything obvious. It seemed like today would be another successful trip for the limo smuggler.

Zephyra smiled in approval when the driver passed too. She entered into the vehicle and returned to listening to her music unaware that her employee managed to smuggle drugs into the city. She had not noticed the time either to recognize that she was late. The driver failed to arrive at the time Gatz ordered her to be home by. Her husband hated lateness especially when it concerned her, but because she had been distracted by the music, she did not suspect the fear inside the driver which would push him to abandon his mission and focus on his interior motive.

Once the patrols were done with their pat downs of the limo driver, he got cleared too. They did not find the illegal substances in the driver's necklace. The driver thanked the patrols and rushed into the vehicle. Upon entering, he glanced at Bel to check that she had been seated, turned on the car, and continued forward into the city. They were late and knowing this, the driver planned on taking a detour to visit his second boss.

Gatz's Haven was fairly active during this time of day, with cars driving pass every second, people talking on the sidewalks, even helicopters flying overhead. Though, the noise was a bother for the people that are used to the quiet of the fields, which Avery has been there many a time in the past. Being in a huge city like this again was certainly different, but nothing to worry about.

Though, as Avery continues his way toward the military branch, he hears rather loud music coming from the border patrol. His instincts made him turn to the sound, seeing the limo getting checked out. His natural hate of the high classed made him glare at the limo and its driver, thinking that they would just go about doing as they please, bothering the peace. He simply sighs, thinking nothing more of the limo than something of a bother, better off not knowing who was inside.

However, as he was turning away to get back on track getting to the military branch, RECA started chirping excitedly. Confused, Avery looked back, hearing her say that it was Chi that she saw. Sure enough, there stood a woman in the border patrol gate, being checked. From afar, one would suspect that would be the same person that Avery was looking for, however, something was different. He noticed it, even from this far, that it wasn't Chi, but still riding in the same type of vehicle that she would've rode when in the city itself. It was strange, perhaps the rumors left out a bit more than saying that chi wasn't there.

As the patrol concluded its run through with the limo, he watched it as it drove by, but instead of going straight to the military branch, where she must've been from, they were using a detour. Something was up with the driver, he saw how nervous he was during the examination. He had to be working with someone else, otherwise they would've gone to the military branch immediately, there's not many limos that run through this city quite like that, and certainly not ones that go toward that part of the city.

Avery patted RECA, quickly telling her to hold on as he jogged to keep up with the limo, watching it turn the corner. Looking across the street, he looks left, then right, then proceeds to speed across the road to the other side, flipping over an oncoming car as it continued like nothing happened. Once on the other side, he continues to follow the limo as it keeps making this strange detour. RECA chirps a question, to which Avery replies

"I know Reca, this driver doesn't seem to be paying attention to what his job is, IF he does work at Final Heaven. But still... that woman was vaguely familiar, almost like Chi... but something was different. I can't put my finger on it. But let's just remain out of sight and out of mind... until we need to react. ...Which I hope happens." he quickly shakes his head, gritting his teeth.

There he goes again... thinking about the thrill of action. He doesn't want to think about it, but it happens so suddenly, like its a need that's building up and wants to be free. He needs to retain it, he can't rush in with assumptions fists blazing. Keep to the shadows, remain out of sight until needed. But with how this urge has been going, it might not go well if he can't keep his cool.

Continuing to follow the limo just behind it until it came to where its location was, Avery quickly jumped out of sight from the rear view mirrors, using the shadow of one of the nearby buildings as cover. He watches the situation carefully, making sure he didn't need to do anything rash. However, he also kept an eye out for the woman in the limo, if it was who was looking for, perhaps he could get a trip up with her. Unlikely, but its worth a shot. But then again... something about the woman was different, she looked like chi, but her figure simply gave off something else... a repellent almost.

However, as time went on he noticed that this spot might not be a good place to be, he could be found out easily if the driver made sure of the area being clear. He quickly looked around to look for a better vantage point to look from without being caught. He looked across the road and saw a rather old building among the new technology, perhaps its one that had the design of the gothic towers somewhere else in the world. Even having statues on the sides to attract more attention. Avery gets an idea and quickly jumps to that building, grabbing the ledge and pulling himself up with the statues, looking down at the limo as the scene played out.

"Are you comfortable back there Bel?" the anxious driver glanced into his rear view window. He had been unaware that someone, on foot, tailed their vehicle. He took a detour without the boss lady noticing. Being that she had been occupied with her music, he offered the turn it up louder for her to keep her mind off the lateness. "I will turn up the music you like." he hoped that she would accept his offer.

Zephyra twirled her long strand of hair with her pointer finger while she gazed out the tinted window. Her onyx eyex observed the outside scenery and took in its beauty. It was not often she got to be out as late due to the more dangerous environment the darkness brought with it. She cherished the new experience. The well illuminated streets were decorated with various neon lights. Its advance architecture accentuated the vibrant energy of the city. Humans sprung to life at night. Unlike other cities throughout the world, the citizens of Gatz's Haven never fell asleep. It was what she liked best about her home.

While she took in the late night tour of the city, she did not notice the boy that weaved in and out of traffic or attempt to be unseen by the driver. She heard the limo driver's attentive question and did not question the detour at first. Her thoughts were too distracted by the first time experience that she neither saw the time nor asked the driver where they were headed. "The music is fine Nolan. Thank you." she replied politely and then lowered the back window to take in the fresh, night breeze.

Nolan sighed in relief, wiping the sweat from his forehead after he confirmed the boss lady's satisfaction. He refused to return to the Final Heaven base because he'd be a dead man if he did. With his day job and life in jeopardy, he had no choice, but to go with his night duties. He took a detour towards downtown Gatz's Haven in an area that appeared classier than the rest. Its ritzy appearance warded off the patrol units from searching it, meaning it was a good location to undergo illegal operations.

Nolan drove another two blocks. Upon reaching the destination, he pulled the limo to the side of the street and placed it in park. He put the car in park, twisted the key in the ignition, and turned off the car. "Let me help you out ma'am." he instructed and then stepped out of the vehicle. With a hurried pace, he got to the back of the limo and opened the door for the boss' lady.

The Iron Fan Princess' music ended abruptly because the vehicle stopped and when it did, she instinctively searched the area. They were in downtown Gatz's Haven and not at the Final Heaven base. Being confused, she did as she had been asked. Her driver told her to wait while he opened the door for her. "This is not Final Heaven. Why have we stopped?" she asked when he opened the door for her. Getting up from the back seat, she stepped onto the pavement, continuing to scan the uppity area oddly. They were supposed to be at the base.

Posted Image

Nolan shut the door after Bel got out of the limo. "I promised Gatz I'd do something for him. You should stay here until I return." he lied about why they stopped. He looked left to right anxiously, hoping that he wouldn't see the boss' ugly mug behind him before he got to deliver the expensive stuff he had on him. It was his meal ticket to freedom.

Bel, having not known what Gatz had asked for, took the driver's word for it. "Fine, but I will go with you then. I want to help." she requested kindly. "You need to relax. I will not allow anything bad to happen you. " she reiterated to her driver because she sensed his fear.

Avery watched the limo carefully, seeing the driver shut down the limo and hurried to open the back door. He was about to give up on if this was indeed a Final Heaven driver, until the woman inside mentioned that they weren't at Final Heaven. Bulls eye, this driver wasn't following protocol. Knowing some rumors about Gatz, he would've put a set time that he needed the woman back home. But still... something about her feels off, it looks like Chi, has similar clothing matching, though there was still that... repellent that she gave off. It was a strange sight, almost like she was holy in nature.

However, his concern was about the driver, as he quickly states that he 'promised' Gatz something to get done. Promised? Gatz wouldn't need something from a ritzy place like this, even if he did, he probably has something tenfold in the military base. What's this driver's gist? Why'd he need to stop here specifically? Acting as if he's about to commit the most heinous of crimes, striking fearful glances left and right, making sure of something. It's almost pitiful, going to such lows just to get something done. Perhaps he needs something told to him... a little, interrogation perhaps.

Avery held his face, grinning behind it, almost cackling with glee about the thoughts going through his head. The dangerous thoughts that were consuming his conscious, causing him to change. He reached over to his companion, grabbing her and holding her forward. "Reca... Reca, I need you to stay back. The thoughts... they're back heheheh. If I do anything horrible... make sure to shock me with that little enhancement I got you. Got it?" his voice, shaky and almost deepening. He looked at his little camera companion, to which she hesitates before she just nods her body.

With that motion done, Avery almost roughly puts her on the ledge he was on as he jumps forward, toward the building the driver was planning on enter. He reached out and grabs the building in question, allowing himself to slide down, leaving clawed marks on the side of the building. He reaches a ledge where he hears the last of the conversation and gets a better look at the woman. She did indeed look almost exactly like Chi, but she was different. Her voice, her pose, even some of her physique was different. The repellent that was about her was still as strong as it was from a distance, it was almost sickening.

However, he soon stands up and simply walks off the ledge, landing behind the driver and his intended location lightly. Avery's long black hair drapes over his face, but he simply swipes it to the side as he grins about the conversation at hand. He cocks his head to the side, as he then begins to say

"Now, he wouldn't really have anything bad happen to him... if he just followed protocols." he waves his hand to the two, rolling his neck around "Now, for as long as I've been at Final Heaven, I've learned that Gatz does not want slackers. And before you say anything about that so called 'promise' you stated, what does Gatz really need from a place like this?" He begins to walk back and forth between two spaces on the sidewalk. "A ritzy place like this wouldn't house any sort of need that Gatz needs, he probably has more than what he needs back at the base! So, what gives..? You're needed at Final Heaven, you don't need to be lolly gagging around in the slums like this, or is there something more? Care to answer?"

Avery cackles silently, bearing his teeth as he grins. Sharper than a normal human's, and certainly not naturally given. He looks at both the woman, and the driver, though his main sight is at the driver, trying to make him panic, say what he would never say infront of the woman. This feeling is overwhelming, it feels... good in a sense, but he knows that he needs to resist it, else he would be gone forever. He laughs quietly, putting his hand to his face, his white glove clearly showing through the dark hair.

Nolan hesitated when Bel offered to go inside the building with him. It was no place for a lady. His mind raced for an excuse to tell her, but could not think of one that would justify his actions for leaving her alone and outside. The sincerity in her eyes were hard to refuse too. Sighing in defeat, he figured that he could keep her happy and keep her from getting suspicious. "Sure. You can come with me. Mr. Gatz didn't tell me you couldn't go inside." he smiled nervously. The mention of Gatz rattled the driver's nerves. They were ten minutes late and already he feared the worst.

Bel nodded with enthusiasm when Nolan agreed to her terms. "Then let us go inside shall we? I want to see what Gatz asked you to do. It must be important." she commented with excitement. She followed behind him and walked onto the side walk towards the building. As they walked towards the building, her eyes narrowed when she felt an unknown, yet strong presence nearby. Her onyx eyes gazed up at its location. She caught sight of a shadow, confirming that her senses were right.

Instantly, the figure dropped to the pavement from above like a raven would on its prey. She stepped in front of the driver to protect him.

Nolan turned in panic when he thought it was Gatz that landed behind him. He saw his life flash before his eyes, believing that his end had come. He was dead or so he thought. Fluttering his eyes open, after he confirmed he hadn't died yet, he gazed at the man who managed to jump down from the building's ceiling. It was not Gatz and even if it had been, Bel stepped in front of him. He stayed quiet when Bel shielded him from the deranged looking stranger.

The Iron Fan Princess studied the mysterious man's features. She took a hard glance at him and took in his features. He had long black hair, snowy pale skin, and a creepy appearance that did not match the rest of Gatz's Haven. Then he spoke. When he talked to the driver, she widened her eyes at the sound of her husband's name. The man recognized Gatz as if they had met before. How did this weird man know who her husband was? The city civilians and tourists, despite being named Gatz's Haven, had little knowledge of Gatz or herself. He made sure of it with extreme measures of press control. Despite the initial shock, her calmed exterior did not reveal it to the crowed hair stranger that she had been startled by how well informed he was.

Zephyra believed in her driver's honesty. Before her driver could defend himself, she butted in. "My driver does not need to answer to you." she informed the man because she liked to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. "Whatever my husband asked of him to do, it must be important." she said with belief and to solidify her statement she used an example of why the driver told the truth. "Besides Gatz would have called my phone by now if he believed I was in danger." her phone had no battery. With little knowledge of technology, she hadn't noticed. It died during the long car drive.

The driver, being an opportunist, used Bel's naivety against her to provide himself better cover. "This kid might be one of those druggies Gatz warned me about. We should get you inside ma'am. I don't think the boss would like you hanging around this bum." he commented to save his skin. He waved his arm at Bel direct her towards the brick building.

Simple... simple lies, that's all that Avery was hearing from the driver. Him? A Druggie? Absurd, the only 'drugs' he takes is the one that help his health, prescriptions as they were. Nothing bad, nothing good, just there to aid. What does this driver think he is? Some smartass that could prove anybody wrong? Wouldn't that be a treat. But, he's just some lowly driver, on the last road he'll ever be on due to his poor attention to protocol, such a shame.

However, the woman's response made it clear that this was not the same Chi that he had met before, she would've noticed it was him at least. But it seems that he was mistaken, well there's only one way to go about this now. Hm? What was that? He would've called if she was in danger? Well there's another rumor for the book, Gatz can see into the future. But if that were true... he would've called by now, shouldn't he have?

Avery grins as he side steps infront of the driver, quickly putting a stop to his movement, his eyes drilling deep into the driver's "Oh no, nonononono, I don't think you should be going in there. Why? Oh... I've heard some things about that place, not very good things mind you. But still... my question stands, through both of you." He begins to pace back and forth again, swinging his arms to explain what he's on about. "He is nothing more than a driver, an escort. He's no scout, he's no mercenary off to gather anything special for the big man. Nooo... he's simply an escort who's job is to get the mistress to her destination safely." He reaches forward to grab the driver's chin, just to shake his head around "Isn't that right?" He let's go and backs off to the brick building, infront of the door itself. "Now, I'd be more than able to let you go through, buuuut... thing is, I don't exactly trust someone that's ignoring Gatz. Like the mistress said, he would've called if she were in danger... it seems that she's waist deep in danger if you ask me. I mean, look"

He quickly swings his arm upwards, as if showing off the building. "This place doesn't look like the safest haven, now does it? It seems more like what a mob gang would hang out in, wouldn't you agree? I mean... just look at the time." he quickly pulls up his sleeve, tapping his wrist as a hologram like clock appears, showing that it was Eight Fifteen. he makes it disappear when he speaks again. "Now, I don't mean to be a pusher, or anything." He disappears from sight, as if made of smoke, then appearing behind the driver, putting his hands on his shoulders "But if you drag on this little charade anymore... I think the big man will come for your soul instead of your life, kekekekeeeee"

Avery quickly runs off to the brick building door again, presenting it like some sort of nobility. "So, let's bring up MORE of a chance for that to happen, let's bring out the man in charge of this place, the dealer of many misfortunes! This is your road, you chose to drive this path... but now... it's coming to an abrupt stop." He grins wildly, as he knocks hard on the door, enough to shake it three times. Once he does that, he jumps up in the air, landing on the lamp post nearby, crouching onto it while resting his head on his hand, watching the next event happen right before his eyes. His red, gleaming eyes that seem to be filled with nothing but the lust of blood.

So, what will the driver do now? Surrounded by all of this accusation, by all of this truth? The woman wasn't going to let anything slip by her, if he knew anything about Final Heaven, this was just simply a little testament, letting her know of what might happen. Now, he isn't going to let the woman be injured by any means, that would lead to some huge trouble. But he isn't going to let this go by unnoticed, it was just too fun to watch.

"I won't put Mrs. Gatz here in harm's way. You're high man. Go away." Nolan warned the deranged man who wanted to instigate problems. "As far as you are concerned, it ain't none of your business." he said in support of his first statement.

Bel kept quiet. The estranged man paced left to right in a quizzical manner. He claimed he knew what her husband would have asked for and that her employee had ill intentions in mind. While she half listened, she glanced at her driver. She sensed his heart beat race with anxiousness. She assumed Nolan feared the accused druggie would attack them both. The insurgent wanted to prove that what he said about her driver had been true. He expressed how the driver's job had been to escort her to safety. Her driver accompanied her on long drives and if Gatz did issue an order, before the had gone to Central City and returned to Gatz's haven, then her driver had to follow it. Feeling out of place in the situation because of her lack of knowledge about the area, she stayed silent while the mystery man described the building as a safe haven for gangs. The shadowy, long haired man spoke with riddles and as he did, she watched the seemingly crazed man closely. Her pupils followed his movements left to right until he disappeared.

Being wary of the man's off the wall attitude, she kept a sharp look out and prepared for what might come. The long haired shadow knocked on the door of the building three times, and then vanished once again. Her eyes followed his movements until she witnessed him appear on the lamp post to observe the scene unfold. His intention had been to watch the driver's lie crumble. Curiously, she stood next to her driver and waited for the man inside the building to show himself.

"I do not understand why you are determined to prove this driver guilty of a crime. How do you know Gatz?" she asked the shadowed man on the lamp post.

Nolan sweat dropped at the weird dude's actions. He did turn a ghastly white when he thought the shadowed man might know the method of getting inside the door. Fortunately, for the driver, the maniac hadn't had experience with drug operations. The long haired knocked on the door of the house three times, but since there had been a secret technique to alert those inside, no one stepped out of the building. Chuckling with arrogant satisfaction, he mocked the mad man's attempt to rattle Bel and himself. "Are you done here? She isn't in any danger except from you. Now my boss is waiting for me to go inside to get what he asked me to get him so I can bring it with Bel when we return to Final Heaven. You should leave before I make a call to the boss." he bluffed because he didn't want the boss to know their location because he'd get killed if the boss found out. The driver failed to deliver the boss' prized possession in itme and luckily Bel hadn't realized that they were late or his plan would falter.

Avery felt the wind blow past his face, it was a calm breeze... one that's almost foreign in a city like this. A breeze that shouldn't be here; a cold, calm breeze. Such a breeze only intensifies what twisted thoughts run through this young man's mind, imagining the driver down below in such a mess. It felt good... but horrible at the same time. It's hard to pin down what his true motive was, the actions he's done to the driver himself was eerie, he almost clawed the driver's chin off.

But doing so would result in bad reputation for the lady that now proclaims herself as wife of Gatz, when before it was much different. A different girl, with a different attitude. Where in the world did she go? That question would possibly be remained unanswered forever, such a shame. And here Avery thought he was going to get help with dealing with these strange thoughts. But no, he was going to have to earn his way again, and by doing this, it was the best way. He knew how orders were, at the very least, Gatz wouldn't go out of his way just to ask for a very small thing like this.

Avery turns his head toward the woman as she asked why he was on this road to prove the driver's crime, and how it is that he knew Gatz. He simply rolled his head as he watches the door, seeing no reply in sight, no lights were flickered either at the windows, there must've been some kind of code he needed. What that was, he had no idea, he's never been to a place like this before, so knowing a secret code would be reaching.

"Well, mistress, I know at least how orders are given at Final Heaven. Cause didn't you know? I used to be a part of that military branch, but then I had to be called away to poor dear mother... grandmother had just passed, which was a shame. But, I know that Gatz wouldn't go out of his way to order something like this. Now, I don't know Gatz personally, but I've heard rumors from a buddy of mine... Scipio is his name, blonde hair, likes the little toys he gets." he answers the woman, simply looking down toward her and the door itself, making sure that his theory was true.

Oh, then the driver decided to speak up again? Wonderful, more of a chance to destroy his lies, such ripe for the picking lies. Wait, so.. the woman was named 'Bel'? That's a start to get some good points, as well as just flat out telling the truth. Well... might as well tell them straight from the horse's mouth.

Avery simply grins, standing tall on the lamp post with his arms out, to where he simply shrugged saying "I might be done, but then my decision here was to actually get mistress Bel to the base safely, something that you obviously failed to do." he quickly jumps off the lamp post, landing infront of the two again, then bowing respectfully to Bel "Forgive me for not speaking my name to you before, I believed you to be another friend of mine. I am Avery Kurzama, son of Satoshi Kurzama of West City, robotics expert extraordinaire."

He stood up again, giving the same spiked grin that he's been showing off. He was about to let the driver get exactly what he wants. He wants to get in the building? Fine. He wants to call Gatz? Even better. Oooh, how about his nerves? Want that to go away? Simple elementary... my dear Watson.

"Dear dear driver, forgive me for not knowing your name, but you must know... that if I ever wanted to bring harm to the fair mistress... or even yourself for that matter, I would've attacked by now. But, here I am, standing and simply talking. What? Are you scared of stranger like me? So go ahead, call Gatz... I dare you. Or... I would simply bust in this door." he says as he walks toward the brick building's door again, leaning against it "The choice is yours to make, after all. You wouldn't want to get in his way, would you mistress Bel? I'm sure, your husband would be more than happy to hear about this ordeal, that he has a new punching bag to add to his collection."

Avery grins as he watches the driver, wondering what move he'll do next. Would he panic? Knowing that this... deranged stranger saw passed his lies... his bluff, all of his attempts to thwart the stranger that appeared from the skies above. But what of Bel? Would she try to also put the driver's attempts to a stop? Or would she aid him, like she has been... hesitantly. The only move now, is to see where the driver would want this to go. Through the mob, or through the demon, those were his choices... may god have mercy on his soul if he chooses either.
