The offbeat man on the lamp post answered her question about how he knew Gatz. She concentrated on his words and movements. His eccentric tone could be mistaken as crazed, but with attentiveness she focused on his words rather than his movements. He answered her question. He explained that he recognized military operations through an individual named Scipio and that is why he suspected Nolan's treachery. She returned her thoughts to the name Scipio. The name sounded familiar to her because she had read his name many times in files that she often looked through at Final Heaven when she had to do paperwork for Gatz. The blond haired Colonel had been one of their best and accomplished soldiers. The fact that this pale faced During the unusual man's response, nobody came to the door after the vampire-like stranger knocked on the door. When nobody did, the consideration she had for the stranger's words grew less until he accused the driver of not being able to get her to safety. "I am in no danger." she wanted to remind the bizarre intruder after he leaped off the lamp post and landed on the ground. He rose to his full, impressive height and focused on her driver again. Her driver, who appeared to be relieved that no one answered the door, stepped down from the entrance and stood alongside her. Eventually, the wanderer mentioned his name. Avery Kurzuma was his name, and he resided in West City. He stated, with pride, that he was a robotics expert which she kept in mind for Final Heaven. When it came to useful individuals, she never counted anyone out. Nevertheless, she kept her onyx eyes attentively on him, but he once again, wanted to prove that her driver was up to no good. Sighing and shaking her head, she stepped in front of Avery when he got too close to her driver and requested he call her husband. If they called her husband, that would be a bad move. ![]() "I realize you feel like you are helping here Avery Kurzuma and I appreciate that you are concerned for my safety, but you are not helping. You are accusing my driver falsely. Why would he lie? I have known him for a month. He has been trustworthy whereas I have only known you for five minutes and already you have caused trouble. Do you honestly wish me to believe that he is up to no good and that I am in danger? He knows the consequences if he were to lie." she hadn't yet realized the time because if she had, she would have realized that her phone had no battery. Nolan grew impatient with the estranged man who said his name was Avery. Avery requested that he call the boss man. The request would spell disastrous of the driver gave in and did it. Being twenty minutes late, Gatz would murder him and toss him into a ditch, but Avery didn't know that. "Look man. I don't care if you think I am lyin'. I don't have to prove to you anything. You heard Bel. She believes me so why can't you? Why can't you scram! The boss asked for this and I am going to get it for him. Bel isn't in any danger..except from you. You're a creepy son of a bitch." he insulted. WC: 593 TWC: 3,718 Edited by Bel Zephyra, Jul 12 2015, 10:23 AM.

Avery simply looks at Bel as she walks up to him, she then goes about her way to tell him what the truth of the matter is, even if he already knew. But the way she presents his name like such, it feels as if the scales are tipping to one side, and that side does not favor him. But what Bel has said might give him leway to favor him again, the people inside are far too busy with their own attention... they wouldn't expect anything to happen right outside their door. He let's the calm and cold wind blow by again, feeling its precence among the air above. This street wasn't as busy as the main downtown, so it was much more quiet, feeling as if something could be hiding around the corner, ready to mug you whenever possible. But, Avery knew that no one would mess with him, ever since that time in the underground temple, he's been stronger. No normal human could touch him, or even hurt him, giving off an aura of... darkness. Though, he also has his own, the one that pushes it back, to keep his body from being destroyed. Avery looks back at Bel, the lack of action had made him more calm than he was at first, his Ki was starting to become his own again. An innocent ki, one that would do no wrong without reason. Something that was present even when he was going on before, but stronger now. Then he spoke again, his voice somehow slightly different, more light in tone, sounding like it fits. "I... must apologize, miss Bel. But, I know for a fact, that you should know as well... that if something major is given as an order, then suddenly you have a minor order also given to you, you have to put the major before the minor. The driver was supposed to get you home, yet he refuses and goes on a separate path, I don't think that will serve well with his reputation back at Final Heaven. Now... I don't know what time you're supposed to be home, but being home is the best option at this point. Would you like to look around at the neighborhood again? This is a shady place, one that a lady like yourself doesn't belong in. And certainly one that would be ripe for the picking for anyone waiting around the corner. All I'm saying is... that he shouldn't have brought you here with him, should've done this on his own time." His face seemed softer than before, almost showing sincere concern for Bel and her driver. But before... he was giving threats, making accusations, putting the driver in a boat in the middle of a storm. What happened with him? It was like without any supreme action taking place, he lost his motive to try an aggressive route. It almost seemed that he would take anything that Bel would say next. However, the driver had to speak... he just... had to talk. Each insult, each prideful thing he tries to pin on him, just made his blood boil. His Ki started to turn dark again, like that mixture from before when he first appeared infront of the two. Trying all he can to put a stop to it, but then the driver said his final sentence. With what happens next, it might just BE his final sentence. As Avery heard that, he stops all motion, becoming a statue in a sense. Nothing on him moved, besides his coat and hair in the breeze. His face was bland, his iris shined red, looking as if he were just not going to talk to the driver. However, his ki was almost completely dark by this point, barely any of the previous innocence that was present when he talked normally. He simply just stood there for a few seconds, not saying a word. Then, he gently pushed Bel to the side, enough just to make it feel like it was a guiding hand, but the force of it made it seem like he was going to do something horrible. He then walked around Bel, straight to the driver, and in an instant, he had the Driver's neck in his hand, clutched like he was choking him. Though, he wouldn't feel anything yet, he was just being suspended by Avery's hand. He spoke again, though his voice now was deep, almost fluid as each word passed by like water in a creek. "Now driver, I know for a fact you're lying. Your heartbeat, your choice of words, your lack of attention, it makes it clear you're lying." He tightens his grip against the driver's neck, breaking the chain of the necklace he wore. "But even so, you should watch your mouth. Do I look like a dog to you? No, I don't. Now, Mistress Bel may beleive you, but I am not her. You may believe Mistress Bel, but I am not you. I get to choose who I trust and who I don't. Now, if Gatz did ask for anything, he would have asked to get the whole building... because he doesn't need anything from this shit place. It's forgotten by the patrol, by Gatz himself, so I don't believe that he would go out of his way, just to ask for something like this..." As Avery held the Driver up, his ki was just dark, but a light kept him from doing anything horrible. But, as soon as he said that last sentence, he was struck on the head by something from above. He casually looks up, wondering what had hit his forehead, dropping the driver, leaving him with a scorching pain on his neck and his necklace falling from place. Avery went to touch the little rod that was sticking from his forehead, but then instantly stopped as he was shocked. The electrical circuits trailing back to RECA who had watched the whole thing on the lamp post, a little turret coming from the underside of her camera body. The rod was removed as Avery stood there, taking in what had happened. His Ki, returned to the light innocent feeling that it had before this all happened. He then fell to his knees, coughing heavyly. RECA floats down to Avery's shoulder, making sure that he was okay. He takes a moment to shake off the eletrical shock, shakily getting up as he held RECA close to him. "...T-Thank you Reca... Didn't know what happened... everything just went... black..." Avery weakly says before dropping back down to his knees. "Gah... think you used too much voltage there... but you stopped me from whatever I was doing." he tries to stand, RECA helping him up. He just stood there for a moment, catching his breath before speaking again. "Look, just... take a look at your surroundings, miss Bel, and just think... because sometimes you shouldn't trust someone you've known and go with instincts, it's how most people survived. Ha... I'm not going to try anything else, she got me good. I just hope those dammed thoughts stay away this time... they're not even mine anymore. It's not fair to me." WC: 1,190 TWC: 5,271 |

Bel Zephyra kept her stare fixated on Avery. She looked up at his towered frame to reassure him that if she were in danger, she would know. "Avery, you need to trust in my judgement. You do as Gatz. You worry about me and ignore my feelings. Gatz would have called by now if I were late and if he thought I were in danger. He would have been here by now if I were late." she reminded Avery who did not listen. He told her to look at the surroundings which she had several times. Despite the strangeness of the area, she had been to worse places. He ignored her statement and pushed her aside to confront her driver who insulted the paled skin stranger because he would not leave them alone. "Nolan this does not help. Honestly, you two will make this worse." she took a step forward when the vampire-like man approached her driver and threatened him. She thought the eccentric individual who leave it be, but instead had grasped her driver. Instantly, she took a step towards the two to stop them from fighting. Nolan no longer feared the ghostly, deranged man because he got the better of him. With Bel's trust, the driver felt certain that she would protect him. When Avery closed the distance between them, the driver stood his ground. "You heard the lady. Trust her judgement." he warned. What happened next he did not predict. Avery grasped him by the neck, closed his airway, and lifted him off the floor effortlessly. The crazed individual spoke in a deeper tone determined to get his way. A dark energy surrounded the pale man as he threatened to end the driver's existence because he lied to Bel. The employee gargled while he tried to break free. He struggled in the stronger man's grip. Zephyra's eyes widened when Avery clutched Nolan with a deadly grip. He wanted to kill he driver. "Enough! Drop him!" she shouted at Avery. She rushed to the two to stop them, but a tiny, drone stepped in to stop it before she could. Nolan's body collapsed to the pavement with a loud thud. His hand clutched his throat where a pair of bruised finger prints were left behind. In anger, he hollered his feelings. "You see! This man is dangerous! Bel, we should leave now." he struggled to stand. Since he lacked air in his lungs, he had no strength to get onto his feet. The reborn kai studied the little robot curiously for a moment. Then, in the background, she heard a low, rumbled hum. Ignoring both men, she set her attention on where the rumble sounded. A single head light lit up the road and as it got closer, the noise grew louder. She recognized the motorcycle instantly when it got close enough. "Paul!" she called his name when she "What is he doing here?" she mumbled to herself. Paul Phoenix's engine grumbling engine lowered to a purr when he stopped in front of Bel. He wore a black, biker leather outfit with steel toe, knee high boots. He had been relieved he found her first and that had only been because he predicted Boss man's temperament. The boss would be in the area soon. "Bel what the hell?" he voiced his annoyance. Seeing the driver and a paled punk, the Toughest grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her towards him. "Yer ass gotta go now. I left when I saw you were late and Boss man is as mad as a rhino. The only reason I got here first before him is cuz he is preparin' an execution for that bitch behind ya." he pointed at the driver. ![]() Zephyra heard Paul's remark and instantly reached into her black tux. He clutched her small wrist and pulled her closer to his motorcycle. As her body guard, he had been trusted to protect her, thus, she did not fight back when he grabbed her. Her nerves were more on the lack of calls she received in the past half hour. Anxiously, she pulled out her phone. When she noticed it had turned off, she held her breath. It explained everything. She half turned to her driver. Had he lied to her? The Toughest glared at the driver. "Yer getting a bullet in the eyes punk for not bringin' Bel home when yer were supposed too. I hope you'll like bein' in hell cuz that is where yer goin' when the boss man finds ya out here doin' jack shit, taking his girl out to the slums on a joy ride. Ya dun take the boss' prized possession and expect to live. Bitch." he cussed in annoyance. Nolan panicked when he heard from Paul what the boss had been up too. Getting up off the floor, he dipped. Bel saw the driver run away when Paul confronted him. "Wait..." she felt bad, but the driver had already disappeared into the night. Did he do this because he got scared? At that moment, she realized Avery had told the truth. Paul, who thought of Bel as a sis', kept a tight hold on her wrist to keep her from moving. "Let him be. He's a dead man. Punk ass coward. Boss man hates those." he then set his focus on the other dude. "Who the hell is this?" the bearded biker asked about the vampire-like dude with the red coat. Hearing Paul's question, she glanced up at Avery from her phone. "His name is Avery. He warned me about the driver's ill intentions before you arrived. I feel he can be trusted because he looked out for my safety." she said in a soft voice. "I am sorry about not believing you Avery. I was a fool." she commented apologetically, but still felt guilt about her driver who likely acted out of fear of punishment. The Toughest in the Universe kept a stern eye on Avery, but when Bel told him what he did, he grinned. "Bel, dun beat yerself up. You dun know how scum bags think. It's a good thing. Boss man dun want you thinkin' like them. Good man Avery. That driver was a summabitch. He ain't gettin' too far. Gatz is gonna roast him." he laughed. "The name's Paul." he introduced himself. Everything was faint, hearing was shot. Avery couldn't hear anything clearly, all he could do at the moment was keep his head up and talk weakly. He didn't even hear the driver shout in anger, it was nothing. He couldn't even hear his own thoughts, it was all just a blur of nerves regaining their senses. His left arm was disabled, couldn't even move his shoulder. It was all so painful, yet he had to stay strong, else he'd pass out from the lack of attention needed to bring his nerves back. He looks around at the place he was at, seeing the driver grasping at his own throat, mouthing something. He was always looking at Bel, trying to be the better man in the point of a worthless argument. He was so weak, putting himself in danger with a lady like Bel, what was he thinking..? That having someone like her around here be the best benefit? Hardly... you're only putting yourself in danger if you do that. Wouldn't trust him for the dirt on his shoe. Avery then looked to Bel, who was eying his partner. Course, most people would do so when first seeing her, she was just a floating camera after all. But then Bel turned around, looking at something, then mouthing in what Avery guesses would be surprise. He slowly gets up to look over to where Bel was, then seeing a light reflect off the street, and slowly he heard the rumbling of an engine. A Motorcycle, self-built from the looks of it, and the owner looked like one of the toughest thugs to ever walk the earth. Only, that was no thug, that was the 'Toughest in the Universe' Paul Phoenix. A little known name that was around when Avery was still a recruit for Final Heaven, though to see him in the flesh was something else. It appeared that Paul was certainly upset about something, his words coming to his ears like the buzzing of bees, drowned out by the ringing as he slowly got his hearing back. As it did, he heard that Paul had just said what Avery had predicted, that Gatz was preparing to do something to the driver, just because they were late. Avery laughed under his breath, he had made a correct assumption for once, that's a first. He took a deep breath as he leaned back, hearing his bones pop from being contracted from the shock. He hit his left arm, feeling the nerves come back. At least he can move his shoulder right now. RECA was hovering around the red coated pale man, as if in extreme worry, darting to various parts of Avery's body, mainly his head. She chirped a metallic tone, sounding apologetic, to which Avery shook his head, patting RECA carefully. "Hey... you did what I asked, I couldn't be mad at you." he says, slowly getting his voice back. It was still difficult to speak, but he can manage what he has to say. Then, he was being questioned about who he was, which at first Avery just turned his head away, preparing himself for the worst. Though instead of that, he heard that Bel answered Paul's question, saying that he can be trusted. He turned back to look at the two, giving a light sigh of relief. Though, then he heard Bel apologize, which was a surprise to him again. He looked down, seeing the broken necklace that came off the driver on the street. He bends down to pick the chain up, holding onto the locket. "Your apology isn't needed, Miss Bel. If I were in your position, I would have a hard time believing if what I was told was accusations of a person as pale looking as I am... as sad as that is." he says with a sad sigh, putting his hand to his face gently before shaking the feeling off and hearing Paul, laughing with him as he did. He bowed his head to Paul "An honor, Paul. I've heard telltale rumors while as a recruit of a man capable of breaking down any opponent, whose hair stands as tall as he himself." he laughs lightly, before tossing the necklace to him. "There's something in there, normal lockets are supposed to weigh barely anything even when hallowed out metal, yet that has some weight to it." he stops there, as if wondering what to say next, before hearing RECA's metallic chirp. He looks to RECA, then nods. "Seems that... I broke it off the driver somehow... grabbed-what? I'd never do something like that, even if I was in a rage! Why would I do such a thing?" he asked, looking at his partner. He sighed again, seemingly unable to answer his own question. He knew himself well, but with how everything has been lately, he's starting to question his own sanity at this point. He wasn't a fighter, yet he wishes to know the martial arts to defend those he cared about, but going as far as to choke someone out? That's too far, nearing the levels of a sociopath with the urge of murder brewing. Even thinking that is a bit too far for him. He quickly shakes his out of the thought process, RECA resting on his shoulder now. "Well, I think it's a great time to head home. If need be, I can watch over this limo if it belongs to Final Heaven. Other wise, I'll be going there myself... it was my first destination before I saw that driver make a wrong turn. Drove right into his own demise." He says, trying to keep the subject as light hearted as he can so that there's no worry over nothing. WC: 950 TWC: 6,221 |

Paul planted his booted feet on the ground while his motorcycle continued to purr because he kept it on. He wanted to get Bel home, but before he had, he heard Avery mention how it was an honor to meet a man with hair as tall as himself. The Toughest in the Universe rest a hand behind his head sheepishly. "Shucks kid. I didn't know I was dat damn famous around these parts, but hell I'll take it." he grinned and then got a necklace tossed his direction that belonged to the stupid driver. He caught in his hand. "Thanks kid. I'll give this shit to boss man as evidence. I think I know what's in here. I ain't the smartest in the universe, but it dun take a genius to figure out why a man like the driver got this expensive ass chain around his neck." he commented with experience. Bel sighed and nodded at Paul's observation about her naive personality. She sighed because she had more to learn about the Earth she had been new too. As the two spoke and seemed to know one another, with Avery who specifically recognized Paul, due to Paul's illustrious reputation with Final Heaven, she studied the small droid that circled around Avery's face. She waited until the two men were finished with their statements to interrupt Avery and ask him about the small robot. "What or whom is that by your face?" she questioned. "I noticed it had an effect on you before." she pointed out because Avery appeared out of control, but with the druid's assistance he regained it somehow. She half paid attention to the robot's actions as it did it, therefore, she hadn't realized that it zapped Avery to calm him. The Toughest in the Universe butted in before Avery answered because he wanted to get Bel home before boss man arrived. "Bel let's get you out of this shit hole." he said at first and then glanced at Avery. "Y'know how to drive a Limo kid? Gatz dun want Bel ridin' the motorcycle with me. He dun trust it unless it's him drivin'. Juss how it is. How about I escort you both back to the base and uh we can talk more there." he suggested to Avery. The Iron Fan Princess blinked at Paul's suggestion and then set her onyx gaze on Avery to wait his answer. WC: 419 TWC: 5,262 |

Avery smiled as he got the feeling of just having a normal conversation again, hearing Paul's words. He simply gives a strong nod to Paul as he told what he'd do with the necklace, which was a good idea to have the driver get what's coming to him. Though, the thought of the driver being dead still sent shivers down his spine, even though he nearly did that himself, he doesn't remember it. Though, just as he was about to say goodbye, Bel asked him about RECA, and just as he was about to answer, Paul butted in with trying to get Bel home normally with the limo. Avery laughed "Well, couldn't have asked at a better time. I had a part time job being a butler for this one guy, and I had to drive the limo around the city whenever they had to go anywhere. But yeah, I can drive a limo, almost forgot about that job to be honest haha." Avery moved his right arm around, though realized that his left arm was still out of order for the moment. He could move his fingers at least now, so it was coming back normally. "It'd be difficult with one arm right now, but I'm sure my left arm is going to come back when we get on the road. Nerves are just shot, can't bend it, couldn't move my shoulder before. But let's get on the road so that we don't make the big man any more upset. Oh, and this here is Reca, she's my first creation. She's nice and shy, that 'effect' before was an electrical taser I added to her in case I did something awful like before. She's such a good girl, like my own child." Avery gently pets Reca's camera body as her lens covers up, almost like an eye, enjoying the pet. Avery then walks over to the driver side of the limo, opening up the door and looking inside. It was certainly more fancy than he expected, especially at the back where Bel would sit. He feels around the ignition for the keys, and sure enough, they were still in there. With a small sigh of relief, he gets pushes himself back onto the street, walking to the back where Bel's door would be. "Keys are still in the ignition, thank god. Well, whenever you're ready, Miss Bel." Avery opens up the door for Bel to let her into the limo. Reca herself, floated off of Avery's shoulder as he went to check the driver's seat and hovered in front of Bel, nodding her little body to her and making a small metallic chirping noise. That was her only way to talk, to both Paul and Bel, she just chirped, but she simply introduced herself. WC: 476 TWC: 6,697 |

Paul Phoenix grinned at Avery when the paled man said he could handle driving a limo. "Makes ya useful," he stated at first, but then noticed the shot arm that Avery referred too. He could still drive with one arm. "Nothing ya can't handle then. Yer a young buck. You'll recover fast kid. When we get back to the place, I am sure Bel can fix ya right up with her healing powers," he slapped Avery in his injured arm to toughen him up and to emphasize his words. Upon slapping the kid on his shoulder, the Toughest revved his engine. He motioned his head at Bel to get into the limo. "Oh ya thanks again kid for getting to my sis' before that punk ass got her in trouble," he owed it to Avery for having watched sis. Bel Zephyra smiled. "Reca, it is nice to meet you. What a lovely name," she complimented Avery's droid when he introduced her. "Are you sure you will be alright to drive?" She questioned when Avery said he could not utilize his arm to its full extent. He admitted that he would be fine. Nodding her head at him, she approached the limo when Paul motioned for her to get inside. "I guess we should get going then," she had no other choice at this moment. If her husband were as angered as Paul mentioned, then it was best to not keep him waiting. Avery opened the door for her after he inspected that the keys were in the ignition. The driver left without them. She wanted to shake her head in disgust at what her driver had done. If he had told her the truth, she would have explained to Gatz why they were late. Avery's kind gesture caused her to pat his arm and flash him a smile. "Thank you," she expressed politely and then sat in the back of the limo. "Come in Reca," she talked to the tiny robot to follow her to the back of the luxurious limo. The robot chirped in response as if it understood what Bel wanted. Once she was inside, she rest her arms on her lap. Paul Phoenix revved h s engine and twisted the handle bars to make his motorcycle roar while he waited for Avery to start the limo. "Lets get a move on," he called out. WC: 420 TWC: 5,682 |

Avery laughed at Paul's kind words, and his action. Certainly not the man that he's heard so many rumors about, being a deathly beast that would take on any challenge. But, sometimes rumors are simply rumors in this case. Paul was certainly rough to the driver, but that was because of the duty that Paul had to do, protecting Bel. He's surprised that he was able to get on his good side so fast, with how he looked he looked like one of the worst people to meet in the slums like this. But, he was good and able to be considered trustworthy, which is a good start with what he needs to do. Rubbing his shoulder, he tried to keep his arm from being in too much pain due to the nerves being extremely sensitive. He winced slightly, though not bad enough to say that his arm was broken. He covered it with a laugh however, making it seem like he was just laughing along with Paul. As he opened the door for Bel, he heard Paul thank him for getting here first. He simply smiled "It's what any friend would do for another... even if they aren't exactly like before. Besides, it's my duty as a previous member of Final Heaven. Can't let anyone be on the wrong road." He smiled again as Bel thanked him, nodding to her as she climbed into the limo. He looks over to Reca, who was looking back and forth between the limo door and Avery, who simply chuckled and motioned his head to get into the limo. Reca, being delighted, swiftly floated into the back of the limo with Bel, looking around curiously at the interior of the Limo. Little sounds of shutters could be heard from her, like an old camera. Avery silently chuckled as he watched this, closing the door. Reca floated around the little chamber, looking at the various textures and items, taking little pictures of everything. Her chirps sounded more excited and happy than before, when she was worried about Avery's health. After a short minute of taking pictures, Reca retreated to the large couch like chair, sitting on the head of it and looking out the tinted window. Avery, while this happened, went ahead to the front of the limo, tightening his gloves as he climbed into the driver's seat. He closed the door and got into a comfortable position, then starting the engine of the limo, which slowly hummed before the music came back to life. It was quiet at first before it became loud enough for even him to hear. "Wow, a lot louder than I was expecting. But alright... been a good minute since I drove one of these." He started as he then began to mumble to himself, telling himself of the lessons that he had to take for the limo drivers. He then nodded, hearing Paul and gently putting his foot on the gas to ease onto the road once more. As they traveled throughout the slums and back into the city of Gatz's Haven, Avery took a quick glance around at the buildings and people walking the streets, mostly keeping his eye on the road for any turns that they would have to make, or even anyone stupid enough to cross the road while in the middle of traffic. He suddenly had a flash back to the first time he had met the woman that he had mistaken Bel for, he gives a brief glance back to Bel and Reca before focusing on the road again. He shook his head, thinking that it wouldn't be possible for her to just suddenly vanish like that, though with how he's been seeing more and more magical happenings... it could be possible, but he doesn't want to believe it. At least he's starting to get his left arm moving again, the light hum of the limo was letting it relax the nerves after its shocking acceleration. Reca in the meantime, continued to watch through the tinted window, seeing the buildings go by and the people that walked the streets. Her mobile air flaps extended and contrasted as she looks to and fro, excited about what's next to come from the city. She even chirped happily when seeing a local parts store, to which Avery heard and laughed. "I promise Reca, once we settle down somewhere with a big room, I'll make you a body. You know that I need the space for it, and our apartment just won't cut it right now." Reca sadly chirps what sounds like "I know" before looking back outside to the streets. Avery looks through the side rear view mirror to see what was behind them, making sure there was nothing bad following them. Then shaking his head before asking "So, miss Bel, if I may ask... What were you doing before you got back to Gatz's Haven? Certainly you must've had a reason to be outside the city like that, but if you don't want to tell me, that's perfectly fine. I was simply curious is all. Also, if Reca suddenly stops moving, she's in a recharging state for her battery. Just to let you know so there's no mistake in assumptions haha." WC: 870 TWC: 7,567 |

Once Avery entered the vehicle, Paul Phoenix kicked the kickstand on his motorcycle and shifted into first gear. The motorcycle purred when it moved. He sped off slowly to keep an eye on the limo while he led them through the city streets of Gatz's Haven and back to Final Heaven where Bel needed to be. The drive would be a half an hour long due to the heavy traffic at night. While he led the limo, he grinned because of what Avery said to him. "Seems like a good kid. Kept Bel outta trouble and anybody who look out for sis' is alright with me," he thought to himself. He checked his side mirrors every now and then to check if the limo continued to follow. Bel eyed Reca curiously after the cute, robotic friend entered into the back alongside her. "I am guessing this is your first time in a limo Reca," Bel teased. The tiny droid clicked and beeped at the surroundings as if it enjoyed the ride. Avery's mechanical partner acted like a child. Tilting her head further at the droid's behavior, the kai saw how human-like the robot acted to the music when it sounded. The music caused Bel to smile and Avery's reaction further brought amusement, but behind her smile she had a tint of regret she did not show on her face. Since the reborn kai had grown accustomed to the more lavished life, she foolishly forgot how good she had it in comparison to so many others. Mentally, she admitted that she took it for granted, and it took a small robot's pleasant reactions to remind her how lucky the she had been to be provided with luxury. Zephyra stopped eying Reca when Avery spoke to her. Her attention rested on Avery who had the glass window down which allowed her to see the back of his head. He asked her a question about where she had been before the limo driver decided to go on a joy ride without her permission. "I was on a diplomatic trip to Central City," she admitted truthfully. "but I fear it was for nothing," she added further with disappointment because the King's Guard didn't take her words seriously. Her hands folded neatly on her lap while she spoke as she thought back on how they treated her. Since she had no proof of her claims, they waved her worries aside. "My feelings tell me that the Earth is in trouble from a darker threat. General Gatz told me to bring this up to the King's Guard because we have a treaty with them. He believed me. Sadly, nobody else did except for General Sol," she continued. "I don't think we are ready to face what dangers there might be in future. They are more worried about the Black Bow Army and the Red Ribbon ARmy. I wanted to warn the King's Guard to take extra precautions, but their arrogance clouds their judgment," she commented harshly. "I hope I am wrong," she whispered and then glanced out the window to avoid revealing how hurt her feelings were. She did not go as far as to admit how rude some of them were. It was for the best because of how the General might react if he found out. WC: 575 TWC: 6,275 Edited by Bel Zephyra, Jul 19 2015, 08:13 PM.

Reca nodded to Bel as she guessed that it was her first time in a limo, chirping a response like some kid on Christmas wanting to open presents early. Though she rests on the head of the couch like seat, looking inside of the limo, listening to the music that was playing. With how she was moving her little body, it was almost like she was imagining that she had a body of her own, gently dancing to the music. Avery continued to watch the road as he got his left arm moving again, stretching it gently as he listened to Bel and her plight toward Central City. He's only been there once for a conference with his father, but it was where one of the other military like base was, the King's Guard that has control of most of the world. If Bel needed to go to them, there must've been something wrong about to happen. He listened carefully to her story as he paid attention to the road and drowned out the music, following Paul as close as the rules of the road would allow him. A darker threat that looms on the horizon? Certainly possible, especially with all of the Android activity going around. But, it was a good idea to at least try to get assistance for something that may come, even though the time would be unknown, its a good plan to at least be prepared for anything. But, it seems that the King's Guard didn't want to be a part of it besides a general named Sol. He nodded as she continued, telling why they chose to decline her worry to another. The Black Bow, and Red Ribbon Armies were at large, that much is true, and its good to take care of what there is, but if this threat is worse than those two armies... they need to act on the future besides on what's infront of them. But, if it were also true about the dark threat that looms, it just means that they were about to have another thing to worry about for the Earth. It was certainly unbelievable, especially if she was this vague to them as she was with him. He couldn't tell if she was worrying over nothing, or there really was something waiting for the chance to strike, there was too little information to be given. Avery continued to follow Paul down the road, as he then replies to Bel "Well... given that the Black Bow and Red Ribbon army are a much more bold threat at the moment, I can see why they would decline your reason of worry. But, that doesn't give them the reason to at least take into consideration about improving their defenses. Millions of lives are at stake, with both the armies and this possible threat. And what if it turns out you're right, and this threat does come to be and no one can do anything about it? At least you and Gatz believe in this, willing to protect the people." He sighed as he finished his sentence, starting a new one "I do hope so too miss Bel, we don't need another worry in the world that's constantly looking over our shoulders, waiting for a chance to strike when we're at our weakest. At least you and Gatz are willing to believe this and build yourselves better for if this is to happen. I, for one, am willing to believe it to some extent, at least to be wary of my surroundings." Avery looked around at the city in silence afterwords, not wanting to mention the dark thoughts that reside in his mind. They aren't his, and they certainly want to do things that he finds sinful. But thinking about such things reminded him of what happened before, causing him to shake his head in disgust. But, he also thought about what Bel said in combination with his dark thoughts, making a connection of that the dark threat just might as well be him. He quickly shakes off that feeling, making a turn as they continued down the road. Reca in the meantime, simply listened to the conversation, looking back and forth between the open rear window and Bel herself. Though, as Bel turned to look out the window, Reca tilted her body in confusion, wondering what she's doing. She chirps a question, scooting closer to Bel, looking almost like a curious bird.
